The xkcd is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 0.3 MB to download. The new xkcd app version 3.0 has been updated on 2014-11-20. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This is THE best xkcd reader for iOS It s fast and lightweight you can cache comics to read later even downloading the entire archive if you want and you can search for comics by words in the title or even the body Definitely the best xkcd app out there There is one way that I d like to see it improved several years ago Randall started uploading 2x Retina versions of the comics and it would be nice if I could see those in the app instead of the 1x versions It should probably be an option as some people I m sure would rather not use the extra space required but I definitely would                     Perfect timothymh

XKCD remains near and dear to my heart as one of my favorite webcomics on the Internet While some language and themes are not suitable for younger members of our society I would recommend it to literally everyone else Also check out What If it s done by the person who writes XKCD and it s equally funny and smart                     Not For Kids But AMAZING HURP!!

Very good app does 100 of what s it s supposed to do about 90 of the time Only sometimes does it bug out a bit and all you need to do is force close the app Overall though very good                 Very good DoctorWhom93

Works excellently for viewing comics saves them locally for easy access and has a searchbar for those there s an xkcd about that moments Alt text is easy to access by just pressing and holding on an image It s only shortcoming is viewing any non standard comics Such as those that are more than just an image                     Perfect app with one issue Iimayhem

This app certainly meets the requirements you can download and view xkcd However the latest version is worse than previous versions First a feature was added to allow your u to swipe left out of comics However this just results in my swiping out of multi line comics when I try to go to the next line Second the app has a great random comic feature but now it moves you in the list of 1600 comics to the comic you are viewing Before the update you stayed in the list wherever you were which for me as at the top so I could check for new comics which I liked much more         Latest version is inferior bhens14

The app already worked decently before but when I saw the new interfaced I really liked what I saw It s the best way to check XKCD on a mobile device However a bug in the new version causes scrolling while zoomed in to be broken If not for that I d rate 5 stars                 Nice improvement TehVulpes

I ve really enjoyed this app for browsing xkcd and keeping up to date with it I really like the new ui too though I do miss the old refresh animation that looked like a jelly blob when I pulled down to refresh Sometimes I d open the app just to play with that I m easily amused                     Great app for xkcd alderxen

This is the best comic reader all I ve ever used Simple clean and not overloaded with unnecessary junk It s never crashed and the number of ways to share or save the comics makes it even more useful than the actual xkcd website I only wish it had an option for notifications or badges when new comics were available                     Best Comic App Ever ke4ukz
