Played the game for 1 hour and then gave up For 20 would have expected excellent tutorial graphics and gameplay However the interface is reminiscent of games 10 years older The tutorial is terrible and leaves the user guessing on what certain number symbols and gauges mean     Disappointing overview and graphics Smiley1967

This game works great on the iPad The turn based mechanic gives a similar feel to the tabletop game The game is about leading the imperial guard in the defense of Armageddon vs the orks There is a huge amount of units and if you are a 40k fan you will like it It may look expensive but it s like having a good pc strategy game in your iPad without having to be playing on the pc At the moment there is just imperial guards space marines and orks But I m sure they will release more races in the future If you are a 40k fan get it For the emperor                     Great game for fans Taterfox

I have played through the game many different times with different strategies at different levels I have nit had any problems This is a good Slitherine game that is far superior to most of the other Warhammer Apps you can get This game is somewhat similar to the game Panzer Corps also by Slitherine I hope that they expand this game or release new versions of this game that include different opponents on different worlds Slitherine could really take this genre in this setting a long way                     Lots of Fun Akopian

This game proves to be quite excellent It fun and captures the Warhammer 40 000 quite well The graphics are good and storyline interesting The game is design from their Panzer Corps game Thus easy to get into but challenging The game come with four add on DLCs They are all quite enjoyable and worth the price of getting them There are two terrible bugs in this game First applies to the main game and it four DLCs as well The game often cut right out of the game Usually right in the middle of your turn Forcing you to load up the game using auto save and replaying the turn This happens at least once or twice per scenario Second is the fourth DLC Ork Hunters After the Von Strab Officer scenario the game dies I got no help from Matix Games on these issues Also on the second scenario on the new DLC Goth Game the moment I take any loss of any unit even when it just one point the game is over saying I took excessive losses Can t play two DLCs at all And no help from the makers             Great game but DukeHoot

As close to the tabletop experience I ve seen The developers are obvious fans and the detail put into this product shows a true love for the content Plays well as a turn based strategy war game whether your embedded into the Warhammer Universe or not Maybe the best turn based war strategy game on IPad particularly or any other device                     Perfect Indeed!!!!!

Performance on the IPad 1 I have to say that this game hasn t crashed on me not once since I started playing it yesterday through the tutorial and the scenarios with only minor lag in between turns Siltherine might be the only gaming company competent enough to make a Warhammer game that s both functional and fun to play despite the games workshop sticker slapped on it because let s be honest here games workshop has picked a bunch of lousy gaming companies but this one particular has managed to hit a high note without resorting to the god awful Freenium business model Though this game at 20 dollars is a bit much so double think before you purchase                     Slitherine Well Done Swagger 11

Halfway through the campaign I lost the ability to scroll the maps It became unplayable What I played so far is absolutely amazing The units are diverse and the AI is great But what good is that when you can t move the map After trying the game on all the different modes and encountering the same problem I m reloading the entire game and starting over Hope it works                 Great Game but 1L

I participated in the beta for this game When it hit the App Store and the beta stopped working I purchased the core game and the expansion bundle without hesitation This game is that good I m a serious fan of hex and counter wargames grew up on the Avalon Hill classics like PanzerBlitz and Squad Leader This game is one of the very best strategy games available on iOS It uses the already fantastic Panzer Corps engine and manages to create a unique and challenging experience all its own The theme is fun the unit count is insane understanding your unit stats is a must combined arms rules the day the battles become huge and it all runs like butter on my iPad If you think Clash of Clans is a strategy game this might not be for you But if you love a truly challenging turn based hex and counter wargame with a fun theme multiple difficulty levels loads of options and content hours and hours of gameplay and huge epic battles then this is a must buy Slitherine makes games that stay on my PC and iPad for years This one is no exception                     One of the best strategy titles on iOS SadCoolWhip

I have not played the PC game but this has been ported very well to the iPad I enjoy the carry over of experienced troops from one scenario to the next It s hard to not get attached to them Other than small UI issues I have found the game to very enjoyable                 Great Turn Based Strategy Game GameMyThrone

I had been playing Games Workshop table top games since the late 80s It really was a highlight of my youth Years later I no longer desired to spend 100s to 1000s on the hobby but I still like the WH40K universe and the different armies This game is a great alternative and I plan on buying all the DLC and anything else this developer Slitherine designs for GW This one truly shines and is easily the best GW game on the App Store Oh yeah and if you like this style of game check out Panzer Corps made by Slitherine too                     Really great title Herbert Derps

Coming off beta testing Warhammer 40 0000 Armageddon I have to say that I was really impressed with what I ve seen and played It s a no brainer that Slitherine has created the perfect niche for one of Games Workshop most popular franchise by bringing the game to iPad Haven t played the PC version but based on other reports the game was ported perfectly to the iPad and that I can attest to As a newbie to the Warhammer franchise I have to say Slitherine has created a perfect turn based Hex game and plan on playing this game for quite a long while Great job                     Worth the wait myst515
