WAFF 48 Storm Team Weather

They have changed this app and its nothing like the old version and now they have huge ads soon as you open the app Do Not like Deleting and getting the weather channel     Not the same

I like the modern look Much easier to use However I hate the ad that pops up that wastes 5 seconds of my time every time I want to check the weather Get rid of that and it would be 5 stars           Good update

This version is awful The ads are annoying and the new layout is very difficult to navigate WHNTs new weather app is much better           Go Back

No problems with features like storm tracks for me I am seeing both tornados mentioned on TWC in AR displayed                 Great info

I can always trust WAFF to keep the Tennessee valley up to date when serve weather is in our viewing area                 Love WAFF Its my go to news station

Overall a good app Used to be better Crashes too often and less visually appealing Also dont like the add upon opening app Very glitchy and a lot less reliable than older version Please improve because its been very reliable in the past Thanks           Dont like latest update

I dislike the newest version This used to be my goto weather app Now its annoying Old one was simple to use with straightforward interface and ads either at the top or bottom The newer version does the same thing with a prettier interface that doesnt add anything useful and slows navigation Furthermore it opens with a full splash screen ad that hangs for five seconds before clearing away It adds the load time each and every time by that much Its annoying and I see myself switching to something else soon     Used to be better

App started out fine sort of liked the change But now every time I open the app the first thing I see is a full screen ad for Joe East Heating Dont want or need that Will be deleting this app and stick with The Weather Channel or James Spann     Too Many Ads

Go back to the previous graphics for the daily forecast This new version is harder to read     NOT an improvement

I find this weather app very helpful Its great having the radar with you wherever you One improvement I would suggest is on the 10 day forecast tab it would be helpful to have the chance of precipitation as part of the daily graphic especially during the summer when there is a chance of rain almost everyday this would make the 10 day forecast graphic much more informative without having to click through each day to see the chance for precipitation              Very nice weather app

I opened the app to find it was updated looks good was checking out the new features Opened the tab marked headlines and it shuts the app down after about 20 seconds trying to open But other than that its a good update Thanks              Love the app BUT

The update adds a new interface that to me is more visually appealing It has a nice modern look to it There is an ad that pops up when you open the app but clicking the screen instantly gets rid of it I havent noticed any crashing like the other reviewers have It runs just fine for me I had a moment of amazement when I saw a bolt of lightning in the distance this app popped up a notification that there was lighting detected XX miles from me then after a second I heard the thunder boom It really shows how amazingly advanced our weather detection systems are becoming                 I like the update

Buggy app Severe video and Live video get unknown errors most of the time Stopping and restarting the app doesnt help        Not a good start

If youre going to make us look at the ad at least center it This really affects the OCD in me Im sure its optimized for the iPhone 6 but guess what Not everyone has the 6           Fix the ad

I used to use this daily But since you put up the full page ad on the opening screen AND you cant skip it until its been up for a few seconds Im leaving this app behind Ive also found that the radar images dont match the website radar images By the wayto the advertiserYou lost me as a customer too     Full page ad with delay ruined it

I have WAFFs weather app along with another from a nonlocal source Ive recently noticed that more often than not WAFFs app is wrong while the other is usually correct        Regularly Wrong

Just ok That full page ad upon launch was a very bad idea Its a deal breaker for me I didnt mind the ad banner at the top too much but that full page monstrosity said it was time to delete after over 3 years on my phone Oh well Thats what those big ads will do My fave is BeWeather 2 Its the best     BIG AD

The APP is ok but the 10 day is never updated to the ever changing weather Seems like its always behind Can a lightning trackerdistance be addedAlso why cant we see cloud cover along with radar Would be great if these were addressed Would love to just have this one App instead of flipping back and forth between this one and others           Needs improvement

This app is good for the forecast and giving you the updates on warnings and watches but it crashes multiple times while it loads the radar temps alerts etc please fix the crash problems and this app would be a 55           Good but

Recent update to this app hits you with a fullpage ad on start up Updated app is also less visually appealing and not as usable However the radar picture is quite good If not for the radar page I would pass on this app        Disappointing Update

I was hesitant to download this app based on the reviews but after my favorite The Weather Channel App would no longer work on my phone Ive downloaded other weather apps No other has even compared to this app Im loving it especially right now with severe weather heading our way Dont let the ratings keep you from this app Thanks WAFF              Great App

I have used Weatherbug Elite for a long time and this new WAFF app just blows it away The storm tracks make the map a little busy but the info is priceless during bad weather WAY TO GO WAFF This will be my new go to weather app                 Oh WOW

I had this app from almost first day it was available loved it Last week i tried using it it said to update I did Now it says its no longer supported and I need to update at spp store I tried It says it was updated and it says installed but its gone I really liked it How on earth do you reinstall It simply keeps saying installed     48 storm watch

This was a very good app that I liked a lot But the newest version is junk Put it back the way it wasquickly I liked this app a lot but now it is useless Get rid of the add the extra info and let me turn my iPad sideways again Q     You ruined this app

Most bad reviews come from when radar was down due to tornado strike people were unaware the was no radar This app works great is a definite goto in a storm                 Great app

Brad Travis and his team at Channel 48 are my trusted source for local weather information This app use to be my goto weather app because it had all the information I needed in a simple interface A few releases ago this newly styled app was released with a greater focus on advertisements and fancy means of navigation like the carousel to access different weather information This carousel is simply awful and counterintuitive to the way iOS apps normally behave I dont know why their internal department decided to go ahead and spend the extra money on form at the expense of function Word of advice to the product manager just because someone shows you something that looks neat doesnt make it a good fit for your app Its a weather app folks Make it good for sharing weather information All the other stuff simply makes it cumbersome to get to the information we want Until this app gets a serious lookat or a reversion to the older style please itll be the Yahoo app which is a shame Brads analysis is not available there     In an attempt to be cool app fails to be intuitive

Its a really good app but the radar wont work When I click play on it and the storm andor rain disappears and wont play or even show up Other than that its a good app Its good for if you live in the Tennessee Valley              Good app

Im running version 201 iOS 501 on 4G iPod Touch The app crashes when I try to read the blog It sometimes crashes when loading the radar map It also crashes at other times but they are not repeatable Not good for an app that should be very helpful when severe weather hits        Crashes too often

On the app itself the information provided is inconsistent The words will say one thing but the weather icons will say something else Sometimes there is weather detail but others there is not I wanted this bc it is truly a local source but I find myself double checking against the Weather Channel app more than Id like           Inconsistent info provided

Great app with good content but it needs AirPlay with Apple TV functionality and Google Chromecast support           No AirPlay Chromecast support
