Perfect The redesign was well thought out Activity tab is very welcome Well worth the upgrade                 Excellent

There is no difference in the new version but previous versions best I do not know why we pay for a new Addarat allowance to be aware of and to update the official Twitter application of best Bkther     There is no difference

I have purchased each version of tweetbot with no regrets until now I have reinstalled the old version after a few disappointments Given this does not support force touch and I dont have Twitter on my iPad I didnt need to spend 5 dollars to go backwards in features The biggest omission Swipe back to time line from an article Why would you need to go and hit the done button Please bring back the swipe Bottom line if you are happy with 3 dont bother updating If I can divide the 5 dollars between 5 of you I save from updating I will be happy You really wont notice any difference        Its a step back

Its basically the same app as Tweetbot 3 but allows no swipeback Is it worth 5 dollars to get a less featured update Probably not Stick with the previous app dont waste your money on this        Cant swipe back from link

The program does not support Arabic language like the previous version           Doesnt support Arabic

The app is just Tweetbot 3 with a slight GUI update and adds like one new useless feature It looks like all Tapbots did was make an update which added iOS9 support and put out as a new app with a new purchase required Owners of Tweetbot 3 should have been given a free update Because thats all it is a minor compatibility update But they saw fit to exploit the release of iOS9 to bleed money from a fanbase who hopefully will remember this and not give them any more when the next update is sold as Tweetbot 5        If you already have Tweetbot 3 this is a ripoff

Hi there let me first start of by saying I have owned and used every single version of Tweetbot since it first launched on the App Store The app has improved significantly since those very first versions and it is nice to see such big improvements made that so many have suggested One thing that has always confused me as a first version user is why I have needed to pay a completely new and premium price every time a new version of the app launches I understand you need money to keep your business going completely understandable But as a dayone user I would expect some sort of loyalty benefit for myself and any other loyal customers who have been using the app for years Something like 50 off on the app for those who have had the app since dayone would be something that I think many would appreciate Now to the app itself The app has definitely had some big improvements including an activity page which is something I have said this app needs in every version that has come out thus far With the new activity page I no longer have to switch back and forth between the official Twitter client and Tweetbot to see who has followed favorited or retweeted my tweets So big props on that The main Twitter feed on this app has always given an almost magical experience compared to the normal Twitter app Tweetbot has always been incredibly smooth with scrolling and gives a viewing experience that many other apps can only dream to accomplish If you use Twitter for personal use this app will be incredible for you If youre planning on using your account to run a business I would say to try it out but dont be so quick to have everyone in your company buy it because it may not be for you I would say the biggest drawback which is still their from the first ever version is having to use favstar This is hands down the most frustrating part of this app My question is what is the point of showing the amount of retweets or favorites under a tweet if you have to jump through 10 hoops just to view who exactly it was that favorited it Just doesnt make sense to me Favstar is really the only drawback to this app now and hopefully one day there will be some sort of setting or complete switch over to a feature in which we can easily see who favorites our tweets If youre here for the quick rundown and dont want to read this full review here are a few ratings Price for new users 810 Price for returning loyal users 510 Scrolling Experience 1010 Display Features 1010 Use of Favstar 010 New activity feed 910 Stats page 1010              Almost there Tweetbot

No visual marker sync with iCloud or Tweet Marker doesnt work swipe back for safari is no longer an option Im disappointed I upgraded updated to 3 stars once they put out Tweetbot 21 for OS X It seems to have fixed the issues with syncing between laptop and iPhoneiPad version 4           Not much difference

Very very greedy developers 5 is too much for such slight update Im not even talking about the real price 10 Nevertheless Im always paying for tapbots apps Tweetbot 234 tweetbot for mac convertbot calcbot because they know what they do              4 stars for greediness

This has been the best Twitter client since its inception This latest version continues the legacy of excellent attention to detail extremely smooth performance and aesthetically pleasing design                 Excellent

If this app had support for Twitter videos like the native Twitter app does it would get a perfect 5 stars Otherwise hands down the best Twitter app Dark theme is awesome              Almost perfect

It is an embarrassment to Twitter that a tiny shop like Tapbots can put out such a clearly superior Twitter experience but these guys continually deliver The app feels remarkably polished and having an iOS 7 look on iPad is more than welcome even if its two iOS versions late Using Twitter is pleasurable with Tweetbot and I am a huge fan of the new Activity view now I dont need to dig through push notifications to find out who it was that favorited my tweet or was it a retweet Oh it was both I would say that Twitter should buy Tweetbot and make it their official client but then I remembered what happened to Tweetie after Twitter bought it so no Instead I will remain happy that Twitter continues to allow third party apps to exist and that Tapbots has given me another opportunity to give them a welldeserved few dollars to support their efforts                 Quite simply the best Twitter client

Wouldve given 5 stars if my muted choices had exported over from tweetbot 3 to tweetbot 4 Had to remute users after downloading tweetbot 4              Best Twitter client out there but

I recently bought Tweetbot 3 because I thought Tapbots would update that to Tweetbot 4 Clearly I was mistaken I used Tweetbot 3 and 4 and theyre essentially the same Sure now we have landscape and iPad support but was that really worth a new app I dont think so There are some aesthetic changes making images more crisper but definitely not worth paying for again As far as functionality if you used Tweetbot 3 then it works the same way There are still features missing which makes it difficult to drop the official Twitter app Half of the time I see something in Tweetbot and I have to favorite it and move over to the official Twitter app so I could view it or whatnot Overall its an okay app and in a world where the official is great compared to this youre probably better just skipping this update and either stick with Tweetbot 3 if you already have it or just use the official Twitter app        Update Not Worth a New App

I dont use Twitter on my iPad and I dont tweet often enough to care about the Stats tab so the missing features and downgrades that come with those two new features quickly convinced me to go back to Version 3 I will keep Version 4 in my Apple Junk folder just in case an update comes out to improve things though        Went back to Version 3

The sidebar to change views runs down the left side of the screen and as I am holding my iPad and scrolling with met left thumb it quite often touches the sidebar not the tweet reading area changing the view The side bar cannot be moved or hidden 499 down the drain as this happened in the first minute of use and just keeps happening Not much else to even make it worth the money if this was not designed this way        Left side design fail

I love this app I bought it a few days ago because Im constantly on Twitter wanted to get the most out of my experience Whether Im using it on my iPhone or iPad it is an absolutely beautiful design It took me a little while to get used to the way it was setup hoe I could complete certain actions ie adding to favorites commenting with the thread etc But once you get the hang of it its worth the patience and the money                 An App Worth Buying

I am happy to support developers and immediately purchased Tweetbot 4 based on past experience But having to click to close links when Im used to swiping is really annoying plus YouTube videos have a prompt before leaving for YouTube app This update broke the seamless flow that used to be such a delight in Tweetbot           Please bring back the swipe back

Can we get 3D Touch Ill give 5 stars if I can use this app with all the features of my phone including being about to tweet from safari using tweetbot           No 3D Touch

Also I wish you could have more different types of fonts           Its hard to searchfind ppl

One of the highlights of a move back to iOS on my daily driverafter years with Andy was the release of TweetBot 4best Twitter app Ive ever used and I own all the worthwhile ones on the other OSget this now people                 Best Twitter App Ever

The app itself is wonderful and top notch I also have it on my Mac This company is in constant money grab mode however This is the 4th time Ive had to buy this app When I upgraded to the 6S I went to download my purchased apps and Tweetbot 3 was no longer available to download This meant I needed to purchase Tweetbot 4 This is getting very old very fast I had to purchase the Mac app twice and its 20 Ive now spent a total of 60 for this app between Mac and phone I wont be buying again if the developer continues with this constant money grab The app is easily 5 stars but the constant money grab gives this company a 1 star rating           Money Grab

Dont listen to those whining about having to pay for an upgrade Its a great app that now runs on any iOS device Go ahead and spend the money and support these developers so they will continue building great stuff                 Love it worth every penny

Im not quite sure how this minor upgrade to Tweetbot qualified for a paid major release I would recommend waiting to pay for the upgrade If youre looking for a new Twitter client however this is the one youre looking for despite the developers reputation for poor customer service and this mistake of a release     A Point Release at Best

Thank you so much for the upgrade It works great I know that some people will always be upset on paid upgrades but I also know that most people would not work for free If we continue this race to the bottom demanding free upgrades Im not talking about minor upgrades but major releases Developers may wake up some day and decide that they will no longer work for next to nothing and we will miss out on some incredible apps and ultimately run the risk of loosing apps that are vital for our work and apps that help to make the iOS platform so incredible                 Incredible App

Not sure why I continue to give this guy five dollars every year Other then a few new cosmetic and UI features that already come for free with the official app This version actually has less features then v3 What happened to the media timeline Still a solid app but common At least give us some force touch for our 5 upgrade           Why did I just pay 5

The main reason for me to get tweetbot 3 was the new timeline media view I discovered that this feature is no longer supported in v4 Unfortunately Ill remove this application and will ask for a refund     Doesnt worth the upgrade

Five stars for the app in general One star for the pain of transition or less since I am averaging it to a two star I paid for the upgrade I wont begrudge a developer a few bucks for their time and talent but switching from my current version to the new version is like setting up a new Twitter clientwhat the hell If I give you the dollars for your latest version you should at least have a better migration plan from one version of your product to the next Having to reautheorize each Twitter account is a drag even if Twitter demands it be reauthorized you could at least put in a reminder for which account is being requested to be reauthorized        I like tweetbot but issues

The contrast of the static icons at the bottom of the screen needs to be improved              Make bottom icons more legible

is new again Its the same thing with a new screen for stats If you care about stats then get it If you dont then dont I could have stuck with TB3 but I had to have the newest thing I looked at the stats a few times and never again Waste of another 500 Just the same stuff repackaged              Everything old

Ive been using Tweetbot for years and through different versions In the past I have to say Tweetbot got exponentially better with each version update Not so much this time They just made some minor visual updates and added a new Stats tab For most people they will be totally fine sticking with the older version Dont get me wrong its still a solid app as its similar to version 3 its just not worth paying so much for a minor update Hence my rating is based on the aggressive pricing        Good minor update but not worth 5

Ive been using Tweetbot for several years now and love it Ive tried other Twitter clients and though some are very good I always came back to Tweetbot Perfection is subjective so I wont say its perfect but its pretty darn close for me Tweetbot 4 was a big upgrade as far as Im concerned The inapp browser is much better now It now includes the Reader view button just like it is in mobile Safari which I use on a consistent basis So Im very happy about that It also now has a dedicated Safari button to be able to send an open article to Safari something I do often as well However the inapp browser feels faster and looks very nice and clean as well The only downside is that to close the window the Done button is at the right top and is a little high for onehanded use However I think that this will just an adjustment on my part Not a big deal Aesthetically I find it more refined but its subtle so you may not notice things right away I also find it a little more responsive and quicker The syncing with my iPhone and iPad work perfectly Yes I said iPad Tweetbot 4 is universal and now looks and works exactly the same on the iPad as it does the iPhone Its been a long time coming and its huge for avid iPad users I dont use mine a lot but this may make me pick up more often This was a much needed overhaul and it was executed very well Great job to everyone over at Tapbots They work their tails off not to mention having to answer several support questions and suggestions from me Theyre always helpful professional and sometimes pretty funny Like I said there are a few really good Twitter apps out there but for me Tweetbot is the best Version 4 continues to keep it in the top spot Its worth every penny                 The Best Just Got Better

The main reason I switched from the main Twitter client to Tweetbot was because of the tendency of the app to jump to the top of my timeline Unfortunately the new version of Tweetbot has now done this several times in the last few days the prior version never did So I paid 5 for very little new and for a downgrade in actual functioning and it just did it again Unusable in its present form        Problems in new version

I decided to write this review primarily in response to so many people whining about the price I understand that it may be offputting but I want to help clarify WHY the price is what it is This is a huge update New app versions are almost never free this is normal in the development world These guys are three developers This is what helps them pay bills If you arent willing to pay 5 for an app thats your choice there are other options But you are not entitled to what is one of the best if not absolutely the best apps for Twitter on the App Store for free Next I want to point out that one of the new features in this version the activity view was coded completely without support of a Twitter API If you dont know anything about coding thats a lot of work A lot That in itself can be used to justify a 5 price Some people have complained about haphazard support I havent interacted with them frequently but the devs have always been very responsive when I have reached out via Twitter Lastly if 10 worries you grab the app now before the sale is over There are apps that charge 10 and are still frequently at the top of the charts there should be no reason that Tweetbot shouldnt have that choice to charge for a very successful app and it you use Twitter frequently the app pays for itself within a week So if the price puts you off thats fair But no one has a right to obtain for free a quality app that a small group of people spent time and hard work putting together Please be aware of that before you make your decision                 The best Twitter app period

Its basically the same app as Tweetbot 3 If you arent a heavy Twitter user the stats tab doesnt benefit you much There are some nice UI changes here and there but not enough to make the app worth 5 The same app will work for your iPad too so if you have one the price becomes a little more reasonable My biggest complaint is that you can no longer swipe from the left edge to go back after opening a link in a tweet You now have to swipe down scroll the page up a little bit to reveal the navigation bar and then tap the Done button This honestly makes no sense when Apple has made the swipe to go back gesture universal Please change that back immediately           Nice app but not worth 5
