Overall a good app and well ahead of other car makers but from time to time the app does not inform me when the charge is completed Also it would be nice if the app can include map search that would allow user to send address to the cars navigation Good But Some Flaws
I precondition the temp everyday and havent needed to wear a coat yet this year One day there was ice on the windshield and my side mirrors were frozen in the folded position So i had to wait until the heated wipers and mirrors thawed the ice So a nice feature would be to have the option on the app to remotely turn on the heated mirrors and wipers Great app Just a couple of enhancements would be nice

Would love be able to set a climate control automatic on time Both daily eg MF at work and a temporary For example at a movie set it for 2hrs later and you get to come back to a cool car a popup to confirm turn on yesno would be recommended in case plans change Maybe fail safe to only run for 15 min or user predefined in case that late meeting runs over to prevent wasted battery Also agree with an iWatch app Thanks Useful but could definitely be more capable

App should allow you to put car in valet mode It would be nice if you could use map to draw a user defined boundary If car leaves area then notify user IFTTT Should be able to use app to input and plan destinations routes Where is valet mode

This app is just way too basic and the other ones arent much better You should be able to open or close windows disable vehicle get alerts if alarm goes off TURN ON HEATED SEATS AND DEFROST FRONT AND BACK control radio like a remote etc This is Tesla the most sophisticated computer car in the world Come on Needs more control options
My hubby has this app and loves it so I downloaded it too So convenient when youre in a restaurant or mall and your car is charging at the nearby supercharger Great app Gotta have it for road trips
But releasing an update on the 7th yet still not rendering nicely on an iPhone 66 is just embarrassing A lot going for it
Nice simple app Like others suggest a few must haves and new features are necessary 1 Must add ability to turn on heated steering wipers and seats remotely to make them actually usable 2 Must add Touch ID support 3 Add timers for items like preconditioning or that is beyond what key can do 4 Allow valet mode toggle remotely 5 Accept software for car from phone Great easy but expand
desperatelt needs the function to remotely roll down windows 2 to vent heat on a hot day prior to turning on AC remotely Displaying the realtime window position also a great idea so one could confirm windows are up if in the office and it starts raining almost perfect
Please adapt to 55 inches screen One more thing to improve
The app doesnt have notifications for an open window or roof that could be left open That would be very useful Good start Much more to do
Im giving the app only 4 stars right now as it doesnt currently allow me to pull up an address and map in my phone and send it via the app to the car so that it loads into the NAV system before I get in the car BMW has this function and others Im sure Tesla Owner
Just got my 85D This app is great for monitoring my charging and opening my car without keys but it is still optimized for what looks like iPhone 5 while the 6 and 6 Plus have been out for almost a year With the larger displays Tesla could take advantage of the screen real estate to provide much more functionality out of the application such as having more control over changing settings Needs support for iPhone 6Plus
The app is great and keeps getting better thanks for the calendar I wanted to suggest a few improvements that should be easy to implement aside from showing the number of hours remaining to charge it would be nice to display an estimated time of completion eg 400pm it would be nice to receive an alert 1015 minutes prior to charging being complete Thank you Improvements
This app is best part of a great car Here in Florida turn on air before going to car no more sweating for the first 5 minutes in a suit Now with version 6 no key required to start just bring your phone Starting in 60 fantastic wish it used touchid

While the app works very well and is fairly nice looking there is plenty room for improvement and third party apps actually have more features than Teslas own First off kind of inexcusable that such a technologically advanced company still hasnt updated their app to support the higher resolutions of the 6plus Also sad that a third party beat them to an apple watch app and they still dont offer one Further all of the cold weather package options should be available from the app especially defrost This app works well and is decent for what it does but its way past due for a major update Decent but lacking
Thanks for adding the valet mode but one extra function after half a year is a bit lackluster Theres so much more that can be added and improved still Theres an app called Remote S for Tesla thats much faster and more functional than this app It also adds TouchID for remote start and Apple Watch support Tesla should hire the developers who made the Remote S app Remote S is better

Need to have this I use this to track my car in the parking lot monitor location temperature charge etc love the notification feature when I receive alerts if the charging is interrupted or complete etc great job Tesla Great app
This is a nice app that really adds to owning a Model S Two quick requests 1 would be great to be able to start a software update from the phone Would save having to run out to the garage just to start the update 2 app really needs an iPhone 6 update Was surprised it wasnt done with the April 2015 update And also slacking with no Apple Watch update So many other car manufacturers are already updated with both Useful app needs update

This is obviously a Silicon Valley car not a Detroit car The app is basic in nature but has room for feature expansion It does things never thought of before in the automotive industry so I am very happy with it I look forward to new features in future releases Like no other car
This needs iPhone 6 support and valetgeofence support but love the realtime speed and consumption gauge wow Great functionality needs updating
Tesla can do so much more with this app Its simple its easy to use and its clean but mostly because of its limited functionality Id like to be able to see software updates and read through all the changes via the app Schedule or change the schedule for updates as well Would also be nice to have energy use charts and history available Hopefully like the car they continue to push advances to the app Low tech app for a high tech car
App works great and I cant wait to see upgrades and more features over time A musthave for any Tesla owner
App works as expected Just wish you would have more of the functions thats in the car on the app but I imagine in time that will happen also as a previous reviewer has stated it needs touch ID just for security Also would be nice to be able to schedule prewarming or cooling on a daily hourly basis but the car doesnt have that yet either so its not a knock Does what its supposed to do well
