This app works perfect for taking time coded srt files and a video I verified mp4 and mov and creating a quicktime playable video with subtitles You must have the srt file formatted correctly the sequencing of in out times in the srt must be correct or the app will give an error and it should or the subtitles would overlap on screen Also you must TURN ON the subtitle option inside your player to display the subtitles Quicktime works flawlessly for me AWESOME App THANKS                     Works Perfectly as designed BE SURE to turn on Subtitle option in your player 101dj

I needed an app that would add multiple SRT files into one Movie This app does that without re encoding no quality loss and in a no nonsense way I needed videos on my iPad that could be used by bilingual people and subtitles that could be switched mid movie or disappear all together Some reviews state that they needed to pay 10 for a separate SRT editing program This is because THEY were trying to use corrupt SRT files or SRT files that were simply written poorly This application can only function with clean and correct SRT files Bottom line I wanted to have MP4 movies in iTunes with multiple Subs This did the job and was fast                     Exactly what I was looking for MykeLykes

Finally found an app that can add srt files to itunes movies Able to view subtitles on Apple TV iOS Wish there were a progress bar not sure how long coding takes with some videos in my experience its been 5 minutes Not bad and not a big enough complaint to dock a star                     Great app R.W.Johnson

I would give it ten stars if I could this product along with this author s other product SRT Edit Pro made short work of a job that I dreaded Trying for the first time to add subtitle tracks NOT the hardcoded burned in subtitles to M4V video files I found little useful information on the web to instruct a beginner in the mysteries of SRT files etc One forum mentioned this author s apps in passing and I am so happy to have found it It took me half an hour to test the workflow by bringing in my txt script file to SRT Edit Pro timing it to the video file exporting the SRT then bringing that video SRT combo back into Subtitle Writer 1 2 hour Wow now I have the rest of my day back Thanks for making a tool that people other than full time title specialists can use                     Great timesaver Appreciate the intuitive user interface too Antoinette B.
