Got a test coming up? Study Fast This flash card app comes bundled with over 350 spanish nouns to help you prepare for your test. With an intuitive touch and slide interface you`ll feel like you`re studying ...
This application is very handy and the interface is very intuitive Best flash card style app to date Must buy                 Awesome
I really like the use of the extra space on the iPad It feels like Im holding a real card in my hand                 Great on iPad too
This app makes mistakes in usage that native speakers would never make It appears to be yet another case where some programmer took a list of vocabulary words and ran it through electronic translation This developer probably used the same word list and logic to generate the same app for Dutch Danish and Slovenian Here are some examples cook cocinadora Wrong A cook is a cocinero m or cocinera f while a cocinador is a cooker The app sometimes ignores gender for gendered words and in other cases it simply gets it wrong example el oreja for ear not la oreja Its translation for nurse is enfermera which ignores that there is also a word in Spanish for a male nurse enfermero To me the great mystery is what was the native language of the person who created this program My theory is that the developer is actually Sacha Baron Cohen single bed la cama de Monja Although you would probably be understood for asking for a nuns bed in most places on Earth the standard Spanish for single bed is cama individual I also found it strange that the app developer capitalized Monja meaning nun because Spanish tends to capitalize even fewer words than English Because the program capitalizes so many nouns both in English and Spanish I suspect that it was created by a programmer from Germany or another northern European country where this is customary The creator of this app was apparently not a native speaker of either English or Spanish Heres another example Shield Protector In Spanish the word for shield is escudo Perhaps the app developer was looking for a condom     A machine translated vocabulary drill program full of errors
