Ive been looking for a new beer checkin app to switch to for a while now Untappds a buggy mess and the interface leaves a lot to be desired Stout gets the basics right and thats exactly what I need Its quick its simple and it looks awesome Worth Switching To
This app requires you to sign in using Facebook only I dont want my list of friends to be shared so I chose not to use it Facebook required
In general this app is slow it freezes quite a bit it froze during the set up And it has wrong data the first beer I entered was a white oak jai alai Which is an IPA with white oak chips added Its categorized as a light wheat ale huh This app is interesting but its like a mix between untappd and Instagram its slower but Im not sure how good the recommendations will be I am going to continue to use it to see if it gets better Cool idea but nothing new Bugs

I think this is a great looking app with a lot of potential I wont use it though It takes forever to load and move from one screen to the next Plus if I am actually taking the time to rate a beer I would like it to be a little more sophisticated than it is However I am very impressed by how many beers are already in their database for being a somewhat new app Simple beautiful but annoyingly slow

So I have those kinds of friends that know a lot about beer way more than I will ever have the chance to keep up with I truly envy their prowess in this topic Whenever we hangout there is always good discussion of interesting beers and we always know what to drink wherever we go unless they only have light beers The problem is that I dont always have this circle of friends as a handy resource when I am enjoying a brew NO LONGER Whenever I need a bit of advice I just open up this app to see what beers are trending among my group of experts Even better when I can surprise them with a beer they have never tried or heard of Very satisfying to see the buzz around a beer that I have checked in comments seeing people add it to their To Drink list and then a notification when someone has tried my beer With Stout I am never drinking alone No doubt the best way to keep up with latest beer trends

Terribly slow freezes very mediocre beer selection If your a craft beer drinker I suggest you go to untappd This app will hardly ever have the beer your drinking or work Pretty bad
