Splash Math - 2nd grade summer math workbook HD

Using this over summer to hopefully prevent the summer slump and keep my sons math skills sharp He enjoys it and likes building his tank as he is an avid marine life fan                 Great app for math skills

This app is great I think it is helping my son catch up It also gives great weekly reports that I can share with his teacher                 Splash Math 2nd grade

I bought this app for use in my classroom The graphics are off and it is unusable I have deleted and reinstalled but still the graphics are so misaligned that it cant be used Clock hands are completely off the clock to one side Answers overlap Its a mess No response to my email to the developers for help     Not working properly

My daughter loves this game and likes earning new friends for her aquarium She also loves the mini biology lesson that comes with each new friend Great app                 Fun Math

My school purchased 10 of these per my request Since the purchase three weeks ago I only have one email report Also I have many questions that I have emailed splash math 3 times over the past month no response at all Another thing that I do not like is that the max is 5 users per iPad Overall the poor rating is based on customer service The app is a good math tool        NIce app no support

This is a powerful app however our school moved to iPad minis and the app has not yet been scaled to play well with the minis Numbers are not properly aligned Hope this bug gets fixed              Awesome for full iPads

My son likes this app a lot when homework time approaches and I mention it he is always happy to hear that he gets to play Splash Math for credit with his teacher This app helped us thru 2nd grade and is a good review as he begins 3rd We will be buying 3rd grade chapters very soon Love that I get weekly updates on his progress which I can share with his teacher              Love it

This is a great app that has been a great help to keep up with skills for the summer                 Wonderful

My daughter has been using this app and previously the 1st grade app for while We really loved it because the app used to generate random questions related to multiple topics That way she would get a fairly balanced set of easy questions mixed with hard questions Another thing that I liked a lot about this app is that it did not ask you to sign up or create a profile that would be connected to the internet Therefore all the data was contained within my device The new update that was pushed to my iPad today is not a cosmetic change on the application It is a structural change The new app is tailor to gather data about those who use it Parentsteachers must create a profile that is connected to the internet Children do not get randomized sets anymore at least not on my iPad unless it is my understanding that a internet connected profile is created This update should never have come out without a privacy notice in advance of the update I can read the privacy notice now but I cannot do anything about it because it is only possible to read it after the update I cannot go back to the old app unless I recover the iPad from a backup which obviously makes no sense Beware this is not an update This is an downgrade Both apps on the app store should coexist even if the old one is not updated anymore I guess StudyPad Inc did not want to loose the revenue stream by requesting current and prospective users to buy the new app They also do not want to miss the revenue stream that comes from farming customer data The way this update has been handled is outrageous     old functionality is now exchange for personal information

My daughter loved the rewards in this app and was challenged by the math Ive bought the third grade version already since the school year is coming to a close I highly recommend this app LaVie                 Amazing app

My child struggles on Math tests Her knowledge is good and she understands class work and home work but in tests it seems it just goes out the window Teachers at our school have the kiddos work on this app at home and it has been helping with the test anxiety also                 Mom

I am really impressed with this app Although my stepson is in 4th grade he is pretty behind in math Its hard to pull him away from his Ipad that his mother bought him We dont like that he is on it all the time but we wanted him to get some educational use out of it Now that he has this app it helps him strengthen his basic math knowledge through the use of puzzles and drills Its nice that he enjoys the games and doesnt get bored with it but it actually keeps him interested I highly reccomend this app and the other learning workbooks for all students                 Very Impressed

Love this game I bought if for my 1st grader to push her a little bit The app ran great up until I downloaded iOS 7 Now there are issues with the screen layout and the 10 game now does not work This is a 5 star app without question but it currently does not work Please fix        iOS 7 issues

This app is a fun way for my daughter to practice the skills she is learning in school It is so fun she asks to play it over other games that are not educational                 Great reinforcement

We have used this app for several years we started with my oldest then my middle now my youngest is on it We are homeschoolers have tried many different math apps Splash Math is tried true my children and I continue to come back to it They love the game and are so happy to get to call it school                 Good Math Fun

My kid loves this app She works on it as a supplement to her math work Has great questions on every topic for second grade math The only thing that I would ask is for the developers to make new fish that she can earn Now that she is a long way through the program I think some new characters that she can earn would be fun Otherwise a great way to learn for elementary kids              Great app

Love is a app It is great practice for my twins I especially love that progress is measured so I can see how far they are getting They have to do some math before they can play fun games and once they start they forget that it is math                 Love it

I use both the second and third grade apps in my class I love the updated third grade app but the second grade has a lot to be desired I still cannot link both age groups through one app I thought this would be taken care of by now I do not want to purchase a second copy of an app I already own I emailed support months ago and they said it would be taken care of sooner rather than later It would be nice to be able to make space on my iPad and consolidate apps I have limited memory and limited funds     Very Disappointed

I was unable to try this program prior to purchasing The program does have the option to read the questions to your child but the voice is very robotic and my daughter is unable to understand what it is asking There is no initial explanation of the content covered but just questions My daughter felt like it was a test started crying It uses small pictures to represent base ten blocks but it is difficult to be able to count the blocks because of their small size She didnt enjoy it at all and I have uninstalled it within 5 min of purchase Very unfortunate for a 10 app     Not for my homeschool

I am using this app to give my son extra help in math Math is not his strength so Splash Math is giving him the practice needed to keep him on grade level I like the incentives to keep him motivated to complete chapters on the 2nd grade math topics Wish it did not cost as much but I wanted an app that covered all the topics in 2nd gr math So far its been great              Great App
