This app is the best Spades app I have played on the app store Although its rules arent very customizable they are the closest to the rules Im used to playing making it the most faithful Spades app Ive used The only issue I have had is this I was playing a game online and one of my opponents was taking a while to make a move I clicked the turn summary to look at the bid stats and received no notifications that it was my turn When I closed out of the stats I received three messages in quick succession saying Hurry up and then I was booted The app should forward those messages while you are looking at the leaderboard not wait until you have it pulled down              Great Spades App

I have loved spades since I was young Still do Although this game has different rules the computer will trick you usually when you bid zero or a blind nil theyll make it to where you have to take a trick therefore lose you points So other than getting used to these rules its still a fun game                 Fun game

This game is unplayable whether its the paid version or free My AI partner constantly makes dumb decisions regardless of the setting He will set me if Im going nil or he will trump something I already won and cost us the game because he didnt win his hands Ive emailed the company about these AI glitches and their explanation is play the multiplayer option then Really This game is a waste and youre better off downloading another companies app Be warned     AIs are a joke

Ever since I paid to upgrade because I was tired of the stupid ads Ive done nothing but lose On average I lose to the computer 4 out of 5 games Its horrible And its no fun Either my partner doesnt know how to bid properly or Im dealt really bad hands If I would have known this I would have put up with the stupid ads At least I was having fun Hey programmers can you fix this Or did you intentionally program the game this way     If you like losing all the time

The players on this app are terrible They que for advance games with no idea how the game works Every player on this app thinks they can play but I only found ten or so in my entire time playing it about two years who really know how to play If you love cards or spades pass on this app and try another I certainly am     Save your money and look elsewhere for a game

The partner play is uneven a bit unpredictable Sometimes I bid conservatively because I notice that the partner player frequently over bids the hand However sometimes the partner hand is seriously underbid Overall however I enjoy this game It is one of my favorite time killers              Good game

I love playing this game The only thing that drives me up a wall is when I bid 0 Tricks and my AI partner throws out a low card to lead play when hisher hand has higher cards in the same suit or different suits           AI partner

I do enjoy this game However the bot is so predictable No need to cover a jack with a queen He will always lead a jack and take it with an ace Nil is weird because bot will focus on covering you if you went nil and rarely make his bid My biggest peeve is when he protects nil by using a high spade to trump rather than a small one           Good game

UPDATE 2 One star Single player has become unplayable AI partner regularly getting set on bids where he had no trickworthy cards to begin with and sabotaging nil bids by inexplicably trumping big and failing to cover even simple tricks and so on and so on I would almost tolerate the poor intelligence but the miscues are so overt when they happen I cant help but feel like its some effort to manipulate outcomes which I think has no place in these types of games In any case no satisfaction in winning or losing now that I cant bid and play with the natural expectation that my partner wont ruin a good bid or smart play with his own shenanigans UPDATE I am reducing this to two stars In my first review I complained about the partner AI when playing single player and didnt realize how bad it really was My AI partner constantly fails to make bids while needlessly throwing away tricks or severely underbids and picks up an unbelievable number of bags It has no concept of how to use its trump If the hands are dealt in uneven suits I know his bid will be completely erroneous I find that my success in the game depends on how well I manage and anticipate my own partners ineptitude and not on how well we work as a teamwhich is the fun of spades As one reviewer said it starts to feel like 1 vs 3 Old review Im surprised more reviews dont mention the partner ai The CPU partner will do inexplicable things that make it difficult to develop a chemistry and reach bids accurately such as trumping with the ace of spades when any of his numerous remaining trump would win the trick an he still needs more tricks to make his bid thus wasting a sure additional trick and missing the bid or leading continuously with a suit the other teams nilbidder has long run out of allowing them to harmlessly toss away their high cards I notice this more when my team is ahead so I hope it is not related to some poor attempt at dynamic difficulty to make for closer games     Ok

Thats the only challenge here The computer opponent is no problem Worry about the idiot sitting across from you One would assume all of the AI opponents were created equally but the human AI is hard pressed to make a 1 bidand 8 out of 10 games will fail So the real idiot is me for taking this app           Try to Outlive Your Partner
