Great app for the most part Please show the twin stars in a binary system That would be amazing guys                 Multiple Star Systems
This app is amazing if I could I would put 4 and a half stars but I cantall that is wrong is that they need to add animations on the river in this app              Good needs a little update
Great app but the upgrade discount doesnt seem to be working              Upgrade discount
First of all the app looks AMAZING The app sounds amazing Kinda However it crashes a lot space travel between objects is long and annoying and the planets themselves have sounds that play when youre close to them but the only ones that are different are Jupiter and Earth You have to pay 9 BUCKS to get premium membership which doesnt give you much except for satellites and extra planets PS Bring the old time slider back Having to use the calendar all the time to get to certain dates is annoying so please fix        Looks awesome but crashes Weird controls
Needs more help info on how to use app Am getting tired of apps that require you to spend a lot of time figuring out how the blanketyblank thing functions           Nice but navigating app is confusing
I love all the content but the sticky zoomin zoomout navigation is so incredibly irritating I should be able to zoom out to whatever arbitrary zoom level I want to be at The app insisting on zooming all the way out or bouncing back in and ignoring the fact that I wanted to zoomout a little bit makes me want to throw my ipad off a cliff and then drive a fuel tanker trunk off the cliff on top of the iPad and then light it all up with a grenade launcher Please add a switch to turn off this sticky zoom navigation feature But besides that its an awesome app              Navigation is immensely irritating
This app Is great but there is some problems about the pricing of the app the app is 299 thats a kind of a price that you think is going to let you use all the features but you have to pay an additional 8 dolors to completely enjoy this app but in starwalk2 you can pay 299 then you have all the features and starwalk2 has many things that this app has but this app is still a masterpiece from this compony in terms of graphic and information           Solarwalk2
Hey yo this app Better be worth the 299           299
As soon as I saw Solar Walk had made a sequel to its first Solar System app I had to buy it I liked the first one so much that I didnt think it would be possible that Id find Solar Walk 2 to be a disappointment but it is First I dont like the new controls It makes the app feel very limited because rather than be able to zoom as far in or out as youd like your limited As soon as you zoom a little ways you hit a wall If you keep trying to zoom youll snap to the next point This feature has devastating effect to the feel of depth within the app It makes the solar system feel very small My next issue is with the graphics for the planets mainly the earth I like the HD feature in the first Solar Walk so much better than the one used in this sequel It doesnt look realistic at all The moving atmosphere seems very gimmicky All of the planetsSun seem to have an animated atmosphere now and the only one that I even kinda liked was Jupiters but it becomes very obvious right away that its just an animation loop The noises and sounds for each planet is annoying and immediately wanted to turn them off The settings are lacking to say the least There are so many controls Id like to have that are missing Another thing about the planets that I found to be lazy is yay when you rotate to the night side of the planet ask you see is a dark blue half of a sphere It doesnt look realistic at all Rather it looks more like they just didnt want to fill in the other half of the planet There could be a setting that allowed for a dimmed version of the night side with the planets visible features still noticeable just darkened Then there could also be a true night feature where the planets dark side its completely enveloped by darkness or how we see just the sliver of a moon I dislike the new time controls and would rather use the previous Solar Walk version The info for all of the planets and objects are regurgitated from the first app I miss being able to zoom out all the way to the galaxy view The list goes on and on Im so disappointed that I feel like I wasted my money Ill come back from time to time to see if they improved out any but I wont hold my breath This all couldve and shouldve been so much better Its really a shame        Disappointed A Rant
So far I love it especially the way the planets are softly rendered very different from the over sharpened images in Star Walk 2 I agree that its a shame that the shadow sides of all the planets are solid black in the authors other apps you can see the whole planets which is really nice but the special effects on them are fantastic And the icon looks too much like the xmas star imho              Pretty nice
I thought this second version would be better than the original version but not really its not smooth cant change time like in the first version its a very big disappointment I wasted my money Ill stick with the original version     Not worth to upgrade from the first one
The first thing I didnt like about the app was the navigation They need to make at least an option to change it to classic navigation like the original solar walk where you just zoom out without the sticky crap Also the way the clouds move on Jupiter earth and all the planets regardless of time like even when time is paused is so annoying and unrealistic The app doesnt really feel like something new at all I actually feel like I purchased a downgrade from the original solar walk because now I have to pay stupid monthly payments just to see the satellites that I can see for free on SW Ill probably end up deleting this app to free up the space that its wasting The original Solar Walk was a work of art this not so much If youre reading this and you havent purchased this app yet save your money and get the original Solar Walk you get the same content easier navigation and no monthly payments to see the satellites of our own freaking planet Plus the app crashed twice newest iPad mini on iOS 9     Get the original Solar Walk instead
Great App One of the best made by the Star Walk Team                 AMAZING
This app has a lot of potential but it needs some bug fixes It is a little laggy when the visual effects are turned on but they dont really do much to make it look better Im disappointed that the detail in the terrain of Earth and Mars isnt as good as it is in Solar Walk 1 The stars look really good but why does the sun not look like any other star from a distance Also the navigation is kind of frustrating The graphics over all are really good but why is there basically just a gradient on the dark side of every planet It looks a little off              Its really good
