Puffin Web Browser

I got no problems so far i really like this App so far              Mu opinion

First thing It says ad free in the flash ad at the bottom of the page for this paid version Second The tabs get stuck and wont switch unless Im tapping it multiple times sometimes I have to tap another tab just to get to the one Im going to Third The pictures keep flashing on and off while playing games If I can get all this in the free app I would like to get my money back and just use the free version Either than that its a really good app Super fast              Ok but

Definitely one of my favorite apps but no VPN No VPN means this browser cannot be used as a desktop browser because of privacy issues Support will not answer your emails concerning adding VPN support 5s demoted to 3s           Awesome but no VPN and support is horrible

Im saving you This is the same as free one but this is very laggy It has more laggy than free one IM SAVING YOU GUYS 5     Dont get PLEASE

Before the last 2 updates this app was awesome Now it randomly crashes and doesnt save passwords so I have to log into Facebook and other sites all over Very disappointed        What happened

Has gotten slower with every update Network unreliable errors constantly Was a solid Five Star app So slow now it reminds me of the old dialup days Almost unusable     Worse and Worse

seems to eff it up While ago the first start screen kept showing up Then it was fixed Now its back again No matter what the settings it wont go away when you open the app 3 stars till fixed           Every other version

Its very good program and fast                 I like it

First off I really do like this browser a lot Its definitely one of my favs because of the near desktop functionality it offers however there are a few major things that need some work before Ill consider it my primary browser which is currently Chrome First theres no way to sync or backup your open tabs like there is in Chrome Firefox even Safari The functionality doesnt even appear to exist via plugin which really stinks Theres nothing more frustrating than having tabs open that youre using and working on then come back at a later time to see them all gone Theres no restore closed tab functionality either hint hint That leads me to my next major problem It seems that more often than not when the browser gets updated I almost always lose my open tabs Its very frustrating to open the browser and see a youve been upgraded message then see that all of your tabs are gone The only solution is to turn off automatic app updates which means Ill have to manually go in and update the apps periodically and almost certainly avoid updating puffin for fear of losing open tabs Is this asking for too much           Love it but it needs some work

I like how fast it is the only problem is that it disconnects and keeps saying that is reconnecting and it gets super annoying when Im watching a video or movie and have to restart all over again Other that that 9510 app                 Its great

Each time I try and start the browser the screen goes black with the whit Apple logo telling my iPad Mini is rebooting I dont know all of a sudden Ive had the latest version of iOS for awhile now with no problems this just started to happen     Reboots my iPad Mini

Extremely fast but a lot of polyps with ads When Safari with adblocker comes out on iOS 9 I would not use puffin again     No ad blocker

Can you guys install Java on your servers in the next update                 Quick question

Puffin gives me an inconsistent experience It still crashes a lot Not sure why When it is good it is really really good and when it is bad it is horrid When I watch videos some works good but some does not work as I get out of sync audio and freezing pictures This is bad when I want to watch some live sports events since the bad video Also did this paid app start serving advertisements There were some advertisements popping out and I thought I paid for the app and it should not have advertisement If you can make the app perform consistently and not crash so often then will give a great rating Otherwise very frustrating to have the app crash after 10 minutes into watching a video     New version does not work and froze

Usually Puffin is a handy tool for me but recently Ive been having problems with it and nothing helped so with that being said I only give this app Stars              Puffin Is Okay But

Ive tried so many browsers and I always seem to come back to puffin because it works the best allaround Flash support is awesome And while it does have a few kinks it works like a charm for the most part                 Honestly NearPerfect

I would rate 5 stars but the ads and sometimes the flash player would glitch and not load The app cannot function properly and has a network error at times              Decent app still some glitches

So I have three quick topics to cover but let me start by saying this browser works really well Number 1 bugsannoying things I cant use my Zagg keyboard with any flash related games Puffin will also sporadically usually once every 2040 minutes refresh when I am watching a movieplaying a game Number 2 movies Puffin is usually pretty good at watching movies but every once and a while it will get a little glitchy Number 3 recommendations First anyone looking to get flash on their Iwhatever if your device isnt the Iphone 6 the Ipod 5th or any ipad newer then the 2nd gen chances are this will not work well For anyone with the above devices I recommend that you get this any that dont I recommend you try the free version first                 pretty dang good

Ive owned iPads for 5 years and have spent considerable time using Dolphin Safari Mercury Chrome Photon and have tried others Ive grown frustrated with each of them the complicated clutter of features I dont use and the boringly slow load time of web pages iPad Air 2 clocking 23 megabitssecond wifi Im very surprised and pleased with Puffin paid version although the free version seems the same but with an ad banner at the bottom It truly seems to load much faster jumping to attention when asked I think the speed is real not imagined The combination start pagebookmark page is a simple and slick way to initiate browsing It looks nice and is easy to edit I like it now a lot that Ive adjusted to that simplified approach Try the trackpad Its actually quite useful Its mouse pointer sort of like a PC trackpad and pointer offers dramatically better selection accuracy when attempting to click small tightly packed hyperlinks superior to a clumsy finger I set the flash support to on demand to prevent the auto start of all those tiny advertising video clips on web sites that do that I suspect it helps with the speed too One more cool thing in its drop down menu It offers quick and easy routerInternetnetwork diagnostics and a network stability notification when all is not well with that Its comforting because then you dont blame the browser for problems that have nothing to do with the browser The only thing that irritates me is that the most visited sites page is not on offselectable to further minimize the clutter Its unnecessary for some folks because the bookmark page which allows folders of bookmarks if you wish is once edited clean and easy to use It is what I said fast uncluttered simple to use and elegant in its simplicity To the developers Im assuming blazing fast and easy to use is your long term product design strategy Congratulations and keep up the great work                 Fast uncluttered simple elegant

Every time I open this browser a popup appears telling me to sync bookmarks with Chrome It is therefore no better than the free version        AdFree Still Has Popups

Very speedy Makes even an older device feel brand new No complaints at all                 Amazing browser

Your browser is the best flash browser out there and I love using it to watch flash videos The only problem is that it lacks Chromecast support which TV cast has TV cast does not run flash videos but they are working on it I will give you a five star rating which you truly deserve whenever you provide Chromecast support for us              Need Chromecast support

So I just spent the last two hours switching back and forth between Puffin and Photon I must say the cloud computing model of Puffin is definitely working better on my device iPad Air 2 128GB When using Photon it lags like crazy in flash mode and also doesnt play flash movies very well which is what I have a need for 1 thing I do like about photon is the IP forwarding feature which I havent seen in this app YET Basically that will grant you access to location restricted content I tried both apps using my iPad connected to my iPhone 6 plus Verizon LTE as a hotspot with two bars and also tried using both of them connected to Holiday Inn Express wifi Puffin seems to run a somewhat better but I would love to have the IP forwarding feature here Other than that Im anxious to see what it can do on my home network I will be keeping both apps to see if anyone of them ends up taking the cake here              So Far Puffin has the lead
