Puffin FB changed a month ago It was great but now it often hangs up and won t load a FB page These have been great apps especially for my old iPad 2 Hopefully they can fix it soon             Hanging up Waiting....,,

this is much better than friendly or lite for Facebook those apps have ads in your face 24 7 this app doesn t shove ads in your face nearly as much as those others do and they do it CONSTANTLY literally so far it hasn t force fed me one single ad it runs smoothly too if you don t believe me get it and see for yourself what have you got to lose by trying it out                     puffin Facebook style ari-yo

So this app is ok other than the deal busting super annoying People You May Know section that sits at the top of your news feed Can t find any way to block or remove that section     Can t get rid of People You May Know section Synomenon

5 stars because the issues are actually problems with FB Light fast and scrolls smooth Does not kill battery like FB app Allows you to rotate for wide view FB has found a way to limit news feed to 2 items when using view latest I dont use push notifications for FB but I hear FB sabotages that too if its important to you                     Better than the FB app Astralfrog

This used to be a great alternative to the FB app But now that FB detects this browser messages are blocked forcing you to download the messenger app Also navigating back forward is impossible If devs fix these 2 things i would use again Perhaps linking the code tree with the regular browser app         Needs Update Ally2525

I m using on old iPhone 4s so I maybe partial to this app because it is light weight and fast What you shed by using this app is close to 500 megabytes of storage 277 for the Messenger app and around 200 for the Facebook app which takes a load off the old A5 chipset By no means is it perfect and for those with faster newer phones 500 megs is not much There are a few things that I m not happy with but I really didn t like Messenger Puffin FB covers the FB experience AND lets me view and send private messages all in one small app                     The Trade Off Is Worth It Teacher4u2c

I used to love this app but I don t like the fact that now you can t message people unless you have messenger I can t get messenger on my school iPad It lets me message on my phone with this app but not on my iPad             Disappointed alley_smith

I have been struggling with the Facebook and Friendly apps on my iPad 2 running 7 1 1 Both their internal browsers crash constantly and the apps are slow What a relief Puffin is It runs fast and of course the browser works well One big issue the browser back button returns you to the top of the news feed not to where you came from UPDATE a workaround for the jumping Hold your finger on the side of the newsfeed while typing into the reply box Seems that keystrokes are being mapped incorrectly             Pretty Awesome Deborah-B

Right now I m using it for speed data HDD savings The regular FB app is a data hog The biggest issues for me is it doesn t use the iOS auto correct keyboard and when you post a reply on some posts if you don t put away the keyboard when hit reply instead of posting it opens your friend list Also for some posts comments don t show unless you hit the time stamp So it has some issues IMO             OK Needs Work slick1ru

After attempting to login facebook official app alerts me that someone from INDIA logged into my facebook account and my account is blocked until I answer my security question this clearly shows the app is accessing facebook via an unsupported method and I am sure they could copy all my data if they wanted to their support link page does not load so right now I am changing my facebook password and U N I N S T A L L I N G     Login from INDIA ios 5 was the best
