The description says it s for testing of the pro version will work with your printers fine and dandy but how about letting me see what my docs look from my apps and printer setup Not gonna spend the money if I cannot test it in my environment using my docs I stumbled across this looking for solutions for the 100 iPads being rolled out but at 7 a seat no way wil that get approved It s easy to use and configure but not being able to test my own docs is a deal killer ID have been fine to have been limited to say 5 pages of printing at a time giving a decent test of my stuff using my gear then decide Would be helpful If it could actually print more than the test docs included dr.subsonic

I tried this out to print to a photo printer but the setup is very restrictive It just attempts to print and if it cant you cannot make adjustments For example my photo printer prints 4x6 only It is a DNP RX 1 Printer In setup it attempted to print but my printer errored out saying it set a paper size the printer doesnt support There is no way to adjust it No advanced button to accomodate different sizes I gave up and deleted it may be usable r-berndt

For those of us still using wired LAN printers dont forget to install the other part the software application for your desktop computer There is a windows version and a mac version This lite version is to test your printer to see if it will properly function If so you then can purchase the pro version for a couple of bucks Apple should have thought ahead and included something like this in the IOS and their own MAC OSX My new iPad Air is able to print to my printers on my network Dont Forget the Desktop Helper

Folks I have a new HP color laser printer and wanted needed a good versatile remote printing app I tried six or seven so called wonderful apps and then I tried the Printer Pro app It is without a doubt the BEST app going It is not specifically made for any particular printer Will work with IP address or Cloud printing and the setup it so easy One of the best features that none other has is the ability to choose what size print you want and it has many different sizes Also wonderful tech support in case you need it Dont take my worddownload it and you wont regret it BEST PRINTING APP

This Lite version of the APP is only for checking and testing compatibility with your printer I have an old HP M1522nf MFP which checked out fine and printed their test pages print and photo successfully I then felt it was worth buying the full APP Much better finding out this way for free than paying and finding it didnt work Im thrilledso far so good Read the fine printLite APP is for testing compatibility before you buy

Unlike other reviewers here I think it is a fair policy to run the free lite check tool first to see if the app will work BEFORE committing money to the full edition However it will not work on my otherwise perfectly running network with a Canon Pixma MX410 It did work with an AirPrint capable Dell though Fair Policy but doesnt work
