Poughkeepsie just happened to be my favorite book of all timeand I am not only lucky to have Deb Anastasias brain to write the book she also made this interactive version of it I can go in and read my favorite book anytime I want and do so many other things with it This here is Literary Technology at its best and it needs so much more exposure as does Miss Anastasia and her brilliance If all the books I love had a format like this cheaper than a paperback I would be in HEAVEN This should also be another way to choose how you want to purchase your booksits AMAZING Thank You Debra Anastasia                 Authors Missing Out

Ever finish a book and feel sad because you have to leave the world and characters behind Wish you knew what the author was thinking while writing the book This app solves all of that Music character videos sound effects and so many other extras One of my favorite features is the red lines that you can tap on for the author commentary Its like having the author sitting next to you and adding comments while youre reading So so awesome This is how you make an amazing book even better If you loved Poughkeepsie you will want this app Reading it again brought back all of the feelings and tears of the first time yet since I knew what would happen I could slow down and savor it I cant recommend it enough                 A readers dream come true

I loved the book Poughkeepsie so I didnt hesitate to get this app as soon as it became available and it has not disappointed The added photos video clips music and stories bring so much more to an already incredible story and the app is very easy to navigate                 Poughkeepsie like youve never seen before

I wish I could read Poughkeepsie for the first time though this app I am in love with the idea and with the end product How amazing to read a story and have the mood set by a song playing in the background Then to have the scene come to life with pictures of the place itself or even images of notes and people Then to top it off having the author leave notes on quotes or scenes explains why she wrote it or why it was important to her etc this is just utterly amazing and wish more books were this interactive or had this as an option Great job                 Amazing way to interact with a book

Let me start off by saying that I have been reading Debra Anastasias stories since before her first book was even published I helped cheer her on when Poughkeepsie was released to the world back in 2011 To me there is something truly special about this story It begins and ends making you smile and in between is an absolutely riveting story about three men who are brothers down to the heart and soul Its been a few years since Ive read Poughkeepsie When Ms Anastasia announced that this story was being made into an interactive app it definitely peaked my interest This was my first time reading a book this way When you first open the app there is an instructional page and even a video starring Debra Anastasia showing you how to navigate through all the features I loved everythingand I mean EVERYTHING that she added to enhance Poughkeepsie There is really so much to say but my favorite parts include the music Ron Pope has gained a new fan the images embedded through the chapters the interviews and special character scenes Ive followed Debra via her blog for years so I recognized several posts as extras including the Old Love story featured in Ch 8 which made me cry all over again I liked the fact that Ch 7 can be entirely read to you since this particular chapter is a sampling of the audiobook There is even a train whistle for one of the many sound effects I also adored the background histories of the cardboard piano and the tattoo both of which have become symbols to this story Debra even shows you how to knit and make paper roses One of the things I truly loved is Ms Anastasias commentary for certain scenes She highlights her favorite quotes and explains what inspired her to write specific scenes Sometimes its funny sometimes is poignant but what she has to say will make you laugh and cry through it all She was truly and deeply inspired by several visuals and music while writing Poughkeepsie and she pays homage to all that If youve read Poughkeepsie before the Enhanced App will allow you to experience the story again in an entirely new dimension I found rereading this story via the app made it all the more enriching If youve never read this story before and wonder which version to get of course you will get what works for you print ebook audiobook but if you have the means and the device the Enhanced App is a beautiful and phenomenal version I can see all the hard work put into this app It is absolutely worth it Thank you Debra Anastasia for creating something that allowed me to fall in love with Poughkeepsie all over again                 5 Plus Stars Enhanced App is a phenomenal version of Poughkeepsie

I would give this 1000 stars I am not really sure how to review an app of a book that I previously voted one of the Best Books of 2013 but I am going to try my best Ok I will admit when I saw the price tag of 1299 for this Enhanced App I was skeptical that it would have enough content to justify the price I was WRONG I would pay up to double this price to get my hands on this AMAZING creation I was seriously blown away by how cool this was I loved the Poughkeepsie series so I went into this app knowing the story and was prepared to just click on the new stuff and be done with it Um Again I was an idiot This experience was unlike anything I have ever been through with a book or story I sat down and spent hours reading and immersing myself back into the world that is Poughkeepsie It was truly like getting to read your favorite book again but for the first time I am in awe of how Debra Anastasia pulled this off What makes it so cool Everything Seriously you are getting to hear see feel and surround your senses in this story There are tons of pictures videos games music and extra scenes that just took this app and this book to a whole new level for readers I am VERY excited about this app and cant wait to see if she does more with this platform If you are a fan of Poughkeepsie and Debra Anastasia then this is the perfect fan collectible to own You get so much more than the ebook version and you will find yourself going back to this app time and time again just to hear or see one thing again It is an amazing app that any fan should have Havent read Poughkeepsie series Well this app would be like getting your cake and eating it too Imagine getting to experience this story with all your senses for the first time It will rock your socks I am not super technical and I had no issues downloading using and enjoying this app I would give this the ultimate amount of stars not only for its amazing content but for the innovative platform that Debra Anastasia and Omnific Publishing just launched I give the Poughkeepsie Enchanced App a standing ovation and now worry that no regular book will ever come close to being this awesome Go get this app You wont be disappointed                 The coolest to happen to ebooks since the Kindle debuted
