Pinochle

I use to love this game it was by far the best version out thereUNTIL the latest update Previously you just shook your head at some of the plays that your partner in the game would make or some of the decisions they made but for the most part they gave you reasonable cards when passingand at least had something worthwhile in their hand if they were bidding 100 but NOWOMG They will outbid YOU and then make trump out of a suit they only have 5 cards instead of the suit they have 10 or 12 cards in And heaven forbid that they pass you any cards they have in your trump or jack of diamonds queen of spades even if they only have one or the other and you would have had double pinochle with that stupid lone queen that wasnt doing ANYTHING for them They have dumbed your partner to the point that you feel they are playing against you It was never this way before the latest updatenot even close to this bad They have given you what has to be the DUMBEST partner in the history of the game You make spades trumpas an example and your partner gives you 2 jacks of clubs a ten of hearts and some other ridiculous cardall while they are holding 5 or six cards in your trump or maybe they have 2 queens of spades in their handbut they give you a queen of hearts so they keep their MARRIGE in spades On top of this they have made it to where you cant see all the cards on the screen if you decide to show all cards which you almost have to do since you have THREE people playing against you one of which is your partner Reviously it wasnt like that Its horrible I want my game back PRIOR to the update Its almost to the point that you dont want to play anymoreor if you do you quit playing it within ten minutes because your blood pressure is boiling over     Horrible update

Great play recommend to other The latest update is horrific though The CPU team is ridiculous The pull 1622 counters every hand with minimal meld Please update again with more realistic hands Also would like to see my partnersCPU throw some hands in rather than play the garbage they are delt              Love the app

This app has no business being available for kids even Whoever did this has no concept of the game     Worst programming ever

This game is not for people who play pinochle Your partner does bid right It will pass with a full run and 3 aces in it hand at 33 or sometimes will bid up to 48 with a wing and a prayer Its very frustrating and will make you mad Wish I hadnt purchased it     Pinochle

My main gripe is that there is no option for a 3handed game Ive never played 4handed pinochle until I downloaded this game I didnt know there even was a 4handed variation This is a niche that needs to be filled Overall it plays okay though the AI sometimes bids like an insane person You will frequently get stuck with a bid of 40 when you have 2 meld between you           Ok but where is 3player

I enjoyed playing this game even with the few flaws it had Now the programming logic is all messed up Playing doubledeck Ive seen my partner and opponent have a double run with aces around and pass on bidding The card counting has gone bad as well In the trump suit if I play a king or queen and the opponent has more than three trump the next highest card is played even if the ace is in their hand Heres the problem the player passed on playing the ace in the trump suit losing out on the opportunity to play any aces in their hand in a suit they may only have the one ace or two cards of the suit           Decent game gone bad

I play this game often Im a single deck player The meld is ridiculous Dummy opposing team seem to get all large meld hand 45 meld 27 meld Ridiculous My dummy partner doesnt bid correctly and how bout an update with the option of NO auction bid Takes all the fun out of the game Its hard enough to get a run then they get 26 meld Fix this game and make it fair How this gets on the update is crazy Find out who did that and who approved it fire them both I give 2 stars just cause I love pinochle        Enjoyable

When I win the bid and get the kitty the screen freezes and wont let me click ok     Frozen screen

After several rounds of this game I find that my computer partner seldom has the cards to support our bid when the AI gets the bid they almost always knock it out of the park with doublenuts or hundred aces on top of the runs they always seem to make The statistics show that we have equal number of wins but I have had to have double the makes of my bid to get there Also my AI partner frequently opens bidding or over bids me then stops at 2830 I have taken on the assumption that unless it over bids me twice it has nothing Sometimes my AI partner opens bidding with a terrific hand which I discover at the end of the hand but stop bidding at very low bids For example it may have been dealt a run but stops bidding at 27        Not a Realistic Pinochle

If you like pinochle this is a fun app There are different options You can pass cards or play with a kitty Or if youre cutthroat like me make everybody take 20 to save their meld I found a bug in the last version and received awesome tech support                 Great pinochle app

Ive been playing pinochle all my life I enjoy this app but to say the deals are random would be a lie If you cant consistently win 90 you dont know how to play the game The app has gotten better since the first version There is now an option for meld bids but I have no idea what the thinking behind the meld bid is If my partner jumps the previous bid by 4 51 to 55 the bid is supposed to mean he has 40 meld not 4 No matter knowing this flaw I simply ignore the meld bid If the meld bidding is fixed and the deals are more random I would rate this 5 stars              Nice app but still needs work

After I upgraded the app the game was no longer accessible on my iPhone     Loss usage of game when I upgraded this app I presume so I would purchace

I am sure that when cards are dealt that there could be more randomness I love playing alone and AI of this game needs to be written to be more of a pinochle player Fix it or give me my money back        Grrrr

The game of Pinochle HAS to to started when the winning bid has a marriage in trump and they also HAVE NO LESS than 20 points if they dont the winning bidder would be set by however much their winning bid was Pinochle 101     Meld

Get rid of the ads and do something about when the cards are actually thrown into play the cards are so small I accidentally keep throwing the wrong card and even if I hold onto the card once it is selected I cannot put it back into my hand           Could be better

Its obvious that the developer of this game is not a Pinochle player I finally played the game with all hands open to try and understand why the players were making such huge mistakes My partner over bid me 6 times after opponents passed with one ace in hand and could not make a run Another hand where I took the bbodband partner did not pass ace of trump The deals are unusual not what one would get with regular cards developer     Too bad I cant even finish this comment below

It is really bad when your partner bids 90 then passes 3 legs of his double pinochle because he didnt make spades or diamonds trump Then I dont have the 4th leg so we go back Please fix this logic This game is no longer any fun to play I have to bid to 85 to ever get the bid Then I hardly get enough meld to make the bid My partner never has any meld to support me but when the other team gets the bid their partner almost always get double pinochole Please bring back the original game I still hate this game Please correct the bidding problem     Stupid Logic

I love this App I spend far too much time playing                 Fantastic App

This is the most competitive computer pinochle game Ive played The previous one I tried let you have the bid too easily so i would win the bid nearly every time and it would sometimes do goofy things like make my partner keep both aces of trump when I make the bid              Best Pinochle app

This is really irritating to not be able to shoot the moon and the points that go with it           No Shoot The Moon Option

This is a great and fun app I would say its worth the two bucks fun to play a lot of nice features The only thing i wish the makers would change is that you can choose whether to see the cards your partner passes before you pick yours We play where you dont look until you pass theirs and itd be nice to do the same              Great app

By far the best visual design and best Pinochle app There are annoying issues when it comes to the play experience that need improvement Once a suit has been trumped the partner continues to throw away counters that could be saved The partner will hold on to counters until the end and unnecessarily loose tricks that could have been saved earlier That said I still enjoy playing this game           Best Pinochle App

Every game I play I am somehow given the worst partner It has fear of bidding a bit higher fails to give appropriate cards I suggest revamping the idiot electronic partner It is so frustrating I love the game challenge and hoping that I might get the cards I need from my partner     Electronic Partner

Game interface is OK but AI gets too many good hands w high meld cards I expect not having a decent hand every deal but opponents get too many in comparison In one game of 12 hands which I lost AI opponents had average meld of 1967 w 40 as the highest while my team had average of 716 w 22 as the high Sadly this is typical I dont mind losing but this game is so unfair its not fun     Forget it Deals stacked against you

This is the best computerized pinochle game I have ever played My partner passes well and plays well It is almost as though I am sitting across the table from my best friend and pinochle partner of 30 years                 Pinochle

I have enjoyed playing for years and really thought this game would be fun and challenging Fun yes until it was apparent how challenging this game can be Continuously my partner passes with decent runs The latest was with thirteen in one suit Almost a double plus aces all around and he passed after the opponent bid 52 Interesting game but just not right        Disappointing

I own this program Somehow my update substituted this program for the one I had Question Whats wrong with it When I set the prefs for 500 points bidder wins Then I north south go over 500 points sometimes eastwest has less than 400 points northsouth will lose because as software will wait til eastwest WAITS til they get over 500 points What the hell is going on Sent from my iPhone        What the Hell is going on

So if youre a pinochle player like me you know that in partners your partner is as important as getting good cardsthe AI in this game is horrific Your partner is just not that good at allsometimes overbidding oftentimes trading stupid cards and passing on good hands because the other AI players bid higher If they fix the AI and make bidding more realistic this game would get 5 stars        Really bad AI
