I love the O Remote Its a total must have if you are looking for control over your music around your house Its functionality is intuitive and simple to use The tech support was above and beyond what I could have hoped for The app designer addressed issues with my receiver not even related to the O Remote He completely went beyond my expectations This app is worth far more then the small fee to purchase it O Remote got this one right Go and get it                 Integra receiver essential

I bought this app a few years ago for my TX8050 and in the beginning it was wonderful and worked fine Well with recent enhancements for highend multichannel receivers the software is completely buggy and unusable for my lowly 2channel receiver Every time I connect with the app the receiver freezes and the only way out is hard reset unplug then plug Be forewarned this app does not work well for Onkyos 2channel receivers     Buggy for 2 channel

This app is only getting better and it fairly solid today Only issues are some small glitches with having to reset thingsapp or stereo every now and then However this app destroys the other Onkyo remotes out there Very useful for me with outside patio              Best Onkyo Remote App

Wireless life for my old DTR 78 Integra Now I dont have to upgrade to have all my systems controlled wirelessly I had to go through the manual connection to my home network but the directions were straightforward and worked perfectly                 Outstanding

I have experienced nothing but good results with this thoughtfully designed app I use it to control my 929 with my 414 being used as a power amp for my front wides in my 112 setup It switches flawlessly allowing necessary adjustments                 Excellent app

I dont write many reviews But this App deserves a review Ive only had it a couple of days and I am learning more and more I got it for my Onkyo 809 It controls everything I need and more Much more It controls my IPod I have it connected via front USB Also controls my Sony Blu Ray I have total and complete control over all three and Im still learning If I had a sony tv It would control that too Well worth the 499 I give it 4 stars because Im still new with this If it controlled my 61 JVC tv And directv it would be perfect I will update in a few weeks John This is a follow up to my original review At first it was very impressive and worked flawlessly for about two weeks Now it will not connect to my receiver I also cannot make it connect manually Ive unplugged my receiver a couple of times as suggested but this did not work Final solution uninstall and reinstall the App This did not work I am changing my rating to a single star Hopefully they can get this issue corrected John Heres yet another follow up Jun 17 2014 In my previous reviews I had several issues with connectivity Well the App Quit working altogether Ive deleted and uploaded a new App Several times Nothing Ive set it to auto detect nothing I did it manually still dont work Mr Worne really needs to fix theses issues Till then dont waste your time or money     Impressive Second review dropped to ONE STAR

First time using connected immediately way more functions than Onkyos and volume control is very granular Since im using for first time cant comment on crashing iPhone 5                 Way better than Onkyo Remote 2

To much going on and the net apps are way to small I say battle through with the onkyo remote 2 until something else better comes outbut seriously how do I get my 5 bucks back     I would like my money back please

I downloaded this app after purchasing a new Integra premium Onkyo line home theatre receiver It worked perfectly Recently had a lightning strike and had to replace the receiver with an updated model The app couldnt find it at first Deleted and downloaded the app again Once again perfect Great support and frequent updates I am a happy customer JD                 Very happy

Easily one of the best purchases Ive made in the app store This app paired with my onkyo 809 have made everything so simple The ability to rename all of the inputs has been great for my wife since I have 7 inputs currently hooked up The advanced settings are great since I dont find the onkyo GUI as intuitive Being able to change crossover settings and db levels per speaker made tweaking my setup a breeze I can also say the support for this product is great Ive already had three or four updates that actually added new features or improved the app even more Also received email from the developer with an hour of me first emailing him about a question on the app Update after 6 months of use i still stand by the 5 star rating Lots of updates since purchased so continued support is certainly there                 Must have app

This is a GREAT app I actually picked my last Onkyo Receiver TX NR616 partly because it was supported by an app like this Because I had this app iPad I was able to use the receiver without having it attached to a TV music only Great for picking Pandora stations Only reason I dont give it five stars is because its sometimes slow to connect to the receiver or reconnect when I wake up the iPad              LOVE it

Does not work with Onkyo nr616 it can see it but it does not Control anything     Mr

I have used this application for years mainly because Onkyo is incapable of writing a decent one or modernizing their firmware for that matter Essential accessory for any Onkyo audiophile              Very Good

Ok the good news is this functions better than Onkyos iOS app That said the design of this is pretty badly done since the developer is starting from a blank slate All the buttons are small and close together which means its hard or impossible to safely hit what you intend to tap The 5way I some good example easy as pie to screw up If you are running something like Pandora its catastrophic theres no way to go back Also it would be really great if the layout design went back to square one How about the home page with big easy to hit buttons of the stuff I need 80 of the time Use other tabs for the esoteric setting I rarely if ever need to see or touch This could be such an awesome app with some common sense applied why not do it           OK but layout is badly designed

After the update this app does not adjust the bass treble anymore on the audio video tab Wrote an email to the developer and no response Anyhow this is a good app Please fix this and I will give this 5 stars           Need to fix the basstreble sliding controls

The app organizes all of the receivers functionality into a logical and easytonavigate UI I recently upgraded my receiver to the TXNR626 and while Im very happy with the receivers features and functionality the UI can be frustrating to navigate oRemote immediately found my receiver on my wired network and allowed me to instantly tailor EQ settings and access Zone 2 without having to walk through multiple menus and button combinations                 A musthave

I used Oremote first but had connectivity issues and low functionality This works every time for me The best feature is I can set audio modes and equalizations quickly Feature set is rich and intuitive and much better than the onkyo app or actual remote control Its worth every penny from the not having to debug it and just works point of view                 Works fantastic on my nr717

This app is great It completely removes the need for the remote control as it does so much more Controls my txnr838 Loaded with features If I ever lost my factory remote I would not miss it this app is that good                 Excellent

Just crashes a few seconds in as its about to identify my receiver TXNR5009 over home wifi was fine Will update stars after fix This app is essential to me as I have to change a setting for best sound when I switch between cable ps3 This setting cant be changed with the stock remote Please hurry     Wont open after update

Just downloaded it to find out it does not have the onkyo TX8511 on its list Just paid out 5 for nothing Please this model I use it with a Bluetooth receiver If you can return my 5 that would be even better     Doesnt work for me

This app offers a significant amount of control of my Onkyo receiver I find it extremely useful with the depth of functionality available For those who cant connect I suggest you check the receiver Onkyos networking solution on the receiver is quirky I often have to refresh the IP address by disabling network standby shutting down the unit and then restarting This is an issue outside this app hence my rating Hope this helps              Great App Best on my iPad

update to my review developer was very slow to fix the issues for IOS 8took 8 months but now that its fixed it works perfect using an Onkyo nr5010 here and all the features The unit has look like they are available update to the graphics for ios look really nice too                 No support whatsoever

I have been using this app for almost 3 years and I have been impressed with its performance as a remote and by the amount information about the settings displayed in the logically laid out dashboards Its great to be able to directly adjust settings in these dashboards rather than dig around menus and submenus from the OSD Update June 5 2015 The app was updated for iOS 8 and the new look is sleek More importantly the bug that prevented the tone sliders from working has been fixed Great app                 Best App for Onkyo Receivers Thanks for Update
