Neuroshima Hex Puzzle

I like Neuroshima Hex however I had difficulty with all the symbols and combos and how they all work together This app is excellent at learning the game and therefore appreciating its depth Welldone                 Fantastic game trainer

This set has 10 tutorial puzzles and 90 more difficult ones without a clear distinction between the two in the menu You have to finish the tutorial before starting the real puzzles a minus for experienced NS Hex players but not much time spent so no big deal Perversely the app prompts you to rate it about the time youve finished the tutorial and before youve had a chance to realize that most of the puzzles are much more sophisticated than those youve done so far thus the reviews labeling it too easy The puzzles do a good job of demonstrating the tactics of the four initial armies and a few of them left me scratching my head for the better part of an hour until I found the right combination of tiles For the enjoyment it was well worth the money I would buy an expansion that covers the NY and NeoJungle armies if one is ever written                 Engaging puzzle NS Hex trainer

Its the last move of a game where most moves will make you lose and you need to find the one or two that allow you to win Also acts like a tutorial for neuroshima hex which is weird because i figure anyone playing this already played the original                 More good strategy

This puzzle game is worth every penny I paid for it It was my introduction to Neroshima Hex there is a full fledged game app as well which will have asynchronous multiplayer and a great way to learn the games rules It is also a fantastic way to learn some of the strategy and tactics of the game and the various armies that comprise the basic game app there are expansions that add even more depth to the game app If you like puzzles and are not interested in the full game app this puzzle app is still for you I was sad when I finished this because I just kept wanting to play I hope another Neroshima hex puzzle app comes out maybe including the new armies from the expansion but even if it is just with the already included armies I would definitely buy it                 Worth every cent

This is a great way to learn the game of Neuroshima Hex I will give it 5 stars when the app is updated to contain 50 more puzzles using the two expansion armies New York and Neojungle              Great fun

Its a good game and can help learn strategies for the full Neuroshima Hex but if you already know how to play the full game youll probably find this to be extremely easy Ive only encountered a handful of puzzles that I didnt solve right away on the first try           Decent could be harder

This puzzle app does two things offer some interesting puzzles and provide tactics training for Neuroshima Hex For the first it is great As long as you are familiar with the rules of NH the puzzles are a good Balance of challenging and satisfying rarely obvious but rarely frustrating Good puzzler As tactics training it is pretty good as well Definitely trains you in ONE part of the game reactive deployment Id like to see NY and neojungle in there good way to market your in app purchases too But more importantly Id like to see defensive puzzles Where the opponent gets to move and you have to deploy your forces to preempt or prevent a counter This is the more challenging part of the board game and would be a useful and fascinating addition              Great for what it is

I just used 9 quarters to do laundry this evening This doesnt even cost 4 and its fun I doubt youd even need to be a veteran of the original game to enjoy this                 Good cheap fun

Great reviews led me to pick this one up but the controls seem awful Rotating tiles seems to be 75 of the game but I can only get it to work 5 of the time So its basically unplayable for me I must be doing it wrong as this game has garnered lots of love but its worthless as I currently see it Go along with the crowd beware you might not be able to actually play        What am I missing

Love it only 2 pieces of advice Initiative modifier should be the same as the original game The intro paragraph before each round would be so much richer if there were different personas for each faction narrating the storyline Currently its just the same personality babbling on doesnt give any sense of distinction between the different factions More levels for the new factions please                 Great thinking cap game

This is an excellent way to introduce yourself to Neuroshima Hex is youre new to the game andor want to try it out The higher level puzzles are also good exercises for more experienced players you will learn techniques you hadnt thought of before Beyond that this app even stands fine on its own if for some reason youre not interested in NSH                 Excellent puzzles good for vets or new recruits

It starts a bit easy and feels like a tutorial for the multiplayer version so at first I didnt think it should have been a separate app but as you go on it becomes much more of a thinking puzzle game If you like the board game this will really help you improve your game My only complaint is that the initiative modifier displays differently than in the multiplayer game They should make them the same                 Fun puzzles

It starts out very simplealmost like a tutorial but suddenly you find yourself mulling over your options looking for the answer Given that you only have a limited set of choices it is a very clever game that will test your abilities to see the endgame moves with each tile set Fantastic                 Superb Tactical Puzzles

This is one of the best games I have purchased for my IPad The puzzles are very challenging and the game comes with one hundred which will keep most people entertained for several hours or more I am very impressed with Big Daddys games so far                 Great game

This game was almost exactly as advertised 100 small Neuroshima Hex puzzles to play through I suppose if you havent played the game it would teach you a few of the rules If you have played the game it is an enjoyable way to kill a few minutes None of the puzzles were that difficult and quite a few were very simple I could have lived without the foul language Given the cheap price of this app I would recommend it as an inexpensive way to get a few hours entertainment Dont expect more than it is and you wont be disappointed           Short but enjoyable puzzle game

This game is just a puzzle game so know that going in That being said the game looks great is really well built good sound effects and a nice interface I havent done all the puzzles yet so I do hope they get harder but it is a nice way to get thinking and have a single player NH experience                 Well made puzzle game
