Both the site to manage 401k accounts and this app are pathetic It frustrates me to see how less important people who actually have to retirement income invested in this institution are to the decisionmakers This app is almost insulting The performance is bad No information about how securities are doing on periodic basis No way to change contributions A link to go to full website Numerous indications that app is not well written either Pathetic

Tried downloading this app to my iPhone 5S on 9 November 2013 Installed fine but after entering my log in credentials it brought me to a window telling me to tap this button to access the full site I tap it and nothing happens Ive tried reinstalling the app but continue to get the same problems I would be very grateful if New York Life could fix this I makes me very uncomfortable knowing they manage a lot of my money but cant develop a simple iPhone app Doesnt Work

All I can think is that maybe the retirement industry just has really low expectations when it comes to technology because this app as well as the entire NY Life Customer technology platform is terrible It is kinda like how old people used to buy Oldsmobile cars cuz that is what they did for yearsand they didnt realize that there were waaaaay better options out there for decades That is kinda how this app feels Sometimes it works often it doesnt but it is always clunky and awkward to use and they take their server down for maintenance about 8 hours each day If I had a choice about using NYLife based upon their customer technology I would look for other options But my employer chose them not me The Oldsmobile of apps

This is the most unfriendly app to use It doesnt give you the complete snapshot of your investments when you click on to use the full site heaven help you if you have a message to view Once you go there there isnt any way to go back I had to delete the app reinstall just to go back to the home page There isnt an address that you can save to click on to get to the full site any more This is horrible Horrible

My company changed 401k Adminstrators The App is the worst investor app I have ever seen Want to know how your investments did today You cant find out Want to know how your funds are doing compared to other choices You cant Want to dump the app and go to the main site to find out Cant do that either The site is just as bad This company makes a good investor unable to see basic details Hey Lets provide detailed feedback and get some fixes Welp that has been provided and not responded to and app and site not fixed It is making my 401k like a 201k And we are trapped due to company decisions Browsing for a company that meets compliance Keep looking dont stop here Want Insight This is the Worst

iPhone 5 doesnt work Garbage

I installed this App and try to log in through it In the first try it said my account access is blocked please call the customer service I called the number and system said we do not recognize your social security number I could not talk to customer service because they dont answer in weekends Even security officer told me that he cannot help me and I have to wait until next business day I hope my money be still there until next business day Scary company

Needs an update asap Screen resolution is very poor We are now on iOS 8 and soon will be moving to iOS 9 this year The app is still on iOS 3 Please It looks terrible An update is overdued

I was happy to see New York Life has an app for my retirement plan now as I use my phone more than my computer So far its been working great on my phone and I have no complaints At this time it doesnt seem that there are any transactions that I am able to do using the app so I look forward to any future updates that may come So far so good
