2 foodie friends take a trip to France One takes 100 perfect pictures of plates laden with gourmet goodies the other takes 20 of these as well as some shots of the chefs the open air markets the cheese factory the winery a vineyard cows grapes and his friend enjoying dessert Who will have the more interesting slide show That s the point behind My Shot List It ensures that when you take that trip you won t miss the range of pictures that tell the story There are pre made checklists with the types of shots for different types of travel and examples if you need them you can customize the lists or can make your own there s a place for thumbnails of your images so while you re caught up in the trip you can see if you got say a detail shot or local architecture You can add thumbnails of your photos right from the app with a basic iPhone camera or import them from your camera roll Great way to see if you re say taking way too many pictures in your comfort zone and not enough of the rest Easy to use for beginning storytellers practical for experienced ones Minor quibble I wish it were an HD version for iPad as I am an SLR shooter and rarely use the iPhone camera hopefully one day I also hope there will be in app purchases for other types of lists like family events wedding new baby Christmas so those stories are well told too                     Helps you tell better stories pinktech

I have at times have felt like I am too slow of a thinker when it comes to reacting to new environments and figuring out what images I should try and capture This app has helped me make a breakthrough with my composition and the breadth of images I now capture The app presents a list of 52 categories of shots with commentaries and an example image You then build a shot list for your shoot and the process forces you to consider different ways of capturing your subject There is even a Challenge Me button which will find categories you have not utilized before and add them to your next shot list The result is that I feel and am better prepared I am more confident and I come back with a much stronger set of images from each outing Pretty good for a few dollars                     Made Me a Better Photographer Removit addict

When I rave about the iPhone to non beleivers I tell them it makes me a better person This App is the perfect example of that After 15 minutes of exploring this App I ll be a better photographer for the rest of my life and I ve only checked out about a tenth of it s categories I ll be an even better photographer if I actually use it s categories and check lists to populate my own shot lists on my next outing Not only will it help me take better shots but it ll help me cull my old shots to make better slide shows Check it out Definitely worth a buck just for what you learn and if you use it you ll literally use the invaluable mind of a pro next time your shooting pics                     I JerryFL
