I thought I was downloading the American Bar Associations app for advanced directives Instead I got this piece of paranoid antivaxxer crap An article on how measles dont really hurt children Really What about potential blindness encephalitis pneumonia etc etc What about the people who are immunosuppressed or otherwise vulnerable who come in contact with unvaccinated kids An article excoriating a California physicianstate senator who authored the bill eliminating religious exemptions from vaccination requirements He is accused of being bribed by Big Pharma News flash campaign donations are everywhere and of course theyre going to donate the most to the most sympathetic people Thats politics If you dont like it get active on campaignfinance reform Its been reported that this physician has actually received death threats The antivaxxer hysteria has reached new heights in California this year Im 69 Ive never had measles Im considered probably immune But there are so many unvaccinated kids in California that I went in a few months ago and got a measles vaccine At my age my biggest concern is the cornea lesions that are possible with measles Never mind the pneumonia that can be lethal And having had encephalitis when I had the mumps at age 8 I can tell you that these diseases are not harmless The misinformation out there is nothing short of criminal The government has the obligation to protect children from parental abuse This is no different from prosecuting Christian Science parents for letting their children die instead of seeking medical care And even if the parents did have the right to not vaccinate their kids they do not have the right to send those kids to school on the taxpayers dime Shame on Apple for approving this potentially damaging app     Junk science fraud
