Mondo Top 5 Solitaire for iPad

Far and away my favorite card game                 Love It

Hey Ambrosia Fix This Now This assortment of solitaire games is greatwhen it works But it does not work now The app should be pulled until fixed As of 110414 the game is too unstable to use Menus that do not work at all along with constant lockups For instance when using the Reset Statistics menu the game goes into a fatal lockup and must be deleted and reloaded sometimes multiple times The only workarounds to the Constant Problems include power cycling my iPad resetting WiFi deletereload the app etc     Do not Buy Unless UpdatedFixed

I have this for my iPhone and its a decent game Downloaded it for my iPad and unlike some other iPhoneiPad apps I bought and it looks like I was charged for it So beware if you own the iPhone version because youll have to pay for this one iPad too I guess some dont charge for the iPad app if you own the iPhone version and some do           Mondo for iPhone and iPad

One of my favorite apps but it freezes up almost immediately after upgrading my device to 812                 Please upgrade for iOS 812

Has the games I play most often But since updating to new iOS it does not work correctly Most of the option boxes like to start a new game are just an empty box     WAS One of my favs

I wanted to find a solid Klondike app and found this one through the hype Its okay at best I do not care too much for the other games that are included freecell is the only other good game Rest are not fun I am much more than willing to rate a perfect 5 however only if my issues are dealt with Some of the more prevalent gripes I have about the game are as follows mainly Klondike related but some may be uiversal 1 There should be an option to change the card layout I do not like the current layout where the deck is on the bottom left and the end stacks are on the far right The cards are too spread out and put too much strain on the eyes when all I want is a relaxing game of solitaire at the end of the day I would like a Windowslike layout where the deck is on the upperleft end stacks are next to the right and the rest of the game is immediately below 2 The user should have the option of using their own board and card backgrounds This is a huge must as I like to have a color scheme that is easy on the eyes 3 There should be an option to have double tap to play a card instead of single taps Although both are good options to choose from This is something that Ive been used to in all solitaire games since the Windows 97 version 4 There should be an option to turn off the little popup that appears when you open a new game which describes the game I am about to play I really only play one type of solitaire so I dont need to be informed on the game Im playing Other than these gripes about the game I love everything else Please developers I would be eternally grateful if you made these changes not to mention my ratings would shoot up to 5 stars           Its above average

I dont need to know about the game every time I open it Ive been playing it for 20 years We can remove that prompt after the initial open Yea Can we remember settings I find it tedious to change the settings for each game EVERY TIME I play That should have been pushed out with version 10 Me switching on wrap ace and king or 14 instead of 13 or pairs come on now Remember my settings please        Oversights

I wanted to buy a version of Spider for the iPad and this liked the screenshots Oops that was a mistake In Spider when you have lots of cards the clubs and spades are hard to distinguish from each other I tried all 3 faces Moving a stack of cards is awkward and not intuitive The UNDO feature is slow and if you want to undo a bunch of moves it has a lag In short I found the game play very disappointing I am deleting this app after playing only 3 games on it This is my only 1 star review so far     Do Not Buy This Game

I originally left the review below several years ago when I got my iPad 3 Ambrosia didnt do anything about the problems Mondo had back then Eventually Apple fixed the problem by releasing much faster hardware and the game was once again playable even if not perfect Now with the release of iOS 8 Mondo is becoming unplayable once again Not because its slow its not but because some of the menus dont work including the New Game menu Fortunately Ive found a workaround tap the Change Game button and hit Play this seems to give you a new game but is not a fix for the actual problem I have invested over 10000 games and almost 400 hours of play of into Mondo I think its the best solitaire out there for iOS but if Ambrosia has no intention of fixing or updating Mondo they need to make that clear to their customers and discontinue the game by pulling it from the App Store Continuing to sell a game thats broken seems like a ripoff to me What say you Ambrosia I love this game and have been playing it for a long time but on my new iPad 3 the game is very slow Ambrosia mentions on their site that they know about the problem and are looking into it but that was on March 19th and nothing has been done since Come on guys please fix this soon              Fix please Again

By far my most played iPAD app                 Well executed app

Once my favorite game for ipad with ios 8 update menus no longer work for ipad2 This has been a known issue for about 5 months and developers are sending out same nonresponse that they are working on it     If you have ios8 and ipad2 BEWARE

Even after the update I still will run into situations where tapping the deck to draw new cards will stop working and the only way to fix it is to delete the app and reinstall Completely unacceptable bug Ambrosia Software I expected more from you guys     Still buggy

After the iOS 8 upgrade the menus dont work as noted below This is by far my favorite solitaire game but the developer hasnt done much with it in years Im not sure that theyre still in business              Hope Ambrosia Hasnt Died

I decided to change to a different game and when it started it had the sound effects but no cards I had to restart the app to have it display It is easy to show Play Klondike change game change back to Klondike I am hoping the app gets cleaned up soon        A bit buggy

This game is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and has more fancy animations built in than most card apps But after playing a few games I have reverted to a simpler free version of solitaire because it runs faster This one is nice but really slow to complete if you are used to completing games withn 23 min Also the cards are not as legible as they could be A rare instance where I prefer a free version from a competitor than this one I paid for           Pretty but not for faster players

Top 5 is a great set of solitaire games however some animation is very distracting from the game When you move a card to put it in play the screen darkens slightly and a bright white line of dots point to its destination Get rid of that Its not necessary        Some animation is annoying

Update 20141101 This WAS my favorite solitaire app Bugs abound after iOS 8 Some menus are solid black and make the game unplayable Have contacted Dev and they said they have no plans currently to update Dev Fail Dont buy Very disappointed App hasnt been updated since iOS 6 Original review This is my favorite solitaire app I have every version they make iPhone iPad and OS X Its a great interface and simple I dont play much more than the basic solitaire so Id say a lot of the games offered are wasted on me I like that they offer a version for every Apple platform because to me when I find an app I like I want it on all my platforms That all being said I cannot believe the app on the iPad still has nonretina graphics on the cards other graphics and even the app icon Come on devsits 2014 and retina iPads have been around for years Lets see an update It also wouldnt hurt to add the doubletap feature from the iPhone to the iPad version Not to mention a little more of a UI update for iOS 7 I have given this review two less stars than my full rating just for this reason One star less for non retina and another for the fact that there son excuse for bing this late to the update     Update to retina please

This game does not work on my iPad Air 2 It crashed within 30 seconds     Game not working

I played only spider so far and I dont like it The undo is too slow takes about 15 seconds and there is no move counter I am going to look for other spider apps        Spiders undo is too slow

My favorite game but Now Klondike game is missing several cards the last three games Please fix this bug since I love this game If fixed I would rate 5 stars I am very frustrated As much as I love simple standard Klondike solitaire it is a real problem when the game can go no further due to missing cards This has been happening periodically not every time Please fix this bug              Mondo solitaire top five

I bought this mostly to try spider solitaire and have been really impressed by how clean and solid all the games look I love the number of options for each game which means when you get bored or frustrated you can mix it up enough to keep things fresh I also really like the surprise me feature that takes all those options for the five games and makes a fun random roulette of solitaire games Really glad I bought this app                 Really pretty with lots of options

Someone please fix this game It is obviously a big favorite so whats the problem        HELP
