Test & monitor MIDI hardware with iOSMidi.com`s MIDI Monitor. Did you know the iPad now supports MIDI hardware interfaces via the Camera Connection Kit? Simply plug in a compatible MIDI device with a power supply and ...
Got sound from it once but does not seem to output sound I am using it with the camera connector kit to my midi controller Anyone have the same issue        Midimonitor
Just downloaded and started using this One obvious shortcoming is that as a controller you dont seem to be able to set the MIDI channel Am I missing something           Change MIDI channels
Same as other users the display flips to portrait and stays there     Not working 802 ipad 20
In addition to the portraitlandscape problem with ios8 it fails to respond to MIDI messages that are combined through a merger Other monitors respond OK so it must be this app Im removing it now     Dont get it
Wanna know how Do what these guys did to their app     Good way to mess up a decent app
Amazing app helps you check everything from cc messages to velocity and aftertouch ive never used it as a controller though but i guess it would work ok                 Amaing
another one for the dead pool     Abandonware
I was anxious to determine if the MAudio UNO 1X1 would work with the iPad after updating to iOS 42 This was the FIRST application to arrive that would let me do testing and this app was posted just one day after iOS 42 was released for iPad Kudos to the iOS Midi team for putting this app up so quickly I was somewhat disappointed that there was no way to test playing of Midi files but this really is just a test app              Works as Advertised
Once I connect it to ableton on my mac as soon as i try and change values on ableton on my ipod 4G the app force closes I really wish it would get fixed the interface is clean and great looking Will rate 5 stars if fixed        Please fix
Being near 4 years since the last update and review I thought Id mention to anyone considering downloading this abandoned utility Currently in iOS8 the landscape and portrait modes are broken making the interface useless And best to immediately look towards the app MIDI Wrench The only reason one should download this is because they have the original iPad with iOS4 or lower Spare yourself the downloadThis app is pretty much dead RiPieces     Needs Update
Looks like no development work has been done for quite awhile On my iPad2 with iOS 8x Monitor starts in landscape mode and flipslocks immediately to portrait cutting off a lot of the controls and rendering it pretty useless Domestic Cat why dont you fix your software or pull it down     Doesnt work right on ios 8x and iPad2
Works in ableton no problem great for controlling vsts How bout an xy pad                 Works and its free
Its clear theyve stopped updating this because as has already been written it crashes at the slightest blow of the wind lol It should simply be removed from the App Store     DREADFUL
I wanted to use this app with my Alesis iO Dock MIDIIN but it crashes It sees a few MIDI signals before crashing I guess midi monitor is only for use with the iPad Camera Connector USB as indicated in the App description Sadly it almost works with the iO Dock           Doesnt work with iO Dock
Useful for finding out which controllers work with the iPad FYI you need the Camera Connection Kit USB adapter for connecting something           Useful
Excellent for debugging MIDI devices and signals Does what its supposed to                 Works great
Great tool to bad they dont fix it Web site dead too        Broken
I use thisthrough an Alesis dock To a PC I recommend downloading rtpMIDI plugin It works amazing great for tweaking any amp settings Would give this 5 it had a few more sliders and an option to move the keyboard out the way Love it I would pay a couple bucks for an upgrade for sure              Great app
