METRIC Synthetica

I havent seen an all quite like this While the artwork largely by design legends Superstructure is interesting the remix functionality is not nearly powerful or interesting enough to be worth of the name remix Basically you get tools to make the songs sound very much worse or a different set of tools to make a supershort loop of samples on a songbysong basis And the result is extremely forgettable I regret having bought the inapp purchase This will add nothing to my life           Interesting but not empowering or worth it

I love Metric but they inexplicably dropped the ball on this promotion The app is next to useless offering only tiny bits of samples to make a very short clip out of and the end result is little more than sequenceranddrummachinelike noise The artwork is supposed to be a famous design teams work so Ive read but it did nothing but clutter up the interface Maybe the songs with the more open or innovative controls fare better Lastly and sadly it all comes across as a money grab by the band or some entity in a business relationship with them Its not what I expected from a band with such a cool progressive image It would be rather ironic for a band who got stung so badly by the ubercapitalistic music industry to seemingly follow suit and prey on the fans     Disappointingly bad

Bought on iPhone first doing the in app purchase of the bundle Then on the iPad it appeared Id get charged again App tech pointed out I could click the restore purchases link which is hidden from view at the bottom of the pop up page for buying tunes or the bundle              Might need to click restore purchases on second device

App it terrible Its hard playing with the sounds     Dont not get

If you try to restore purchases it fails So dont get this demo     Dont download if already had

I love this app Its entertaining and innovative Just needs update Doesnt work too well on iPhone 6plus           Please Update

I already own the album and in order to use this app you have to purchase it again Its a very cool idea but I will not spend the money on the album again when I already have it           Eh

Ive already purchased Synthetica and I wish this app would recognize that I have it in my iTunes collection The app wants you to repurchase songs to remixplaywith them Its a cool concept but Im not ponying up more for music I already have even though I love Metric This app seems like a moneygrab more than a cool Metric app I was hoping for the latter        Ehhh

This is my favorite band All their records are different and theyre all genius Im glad theyre toying with using apps to promote themselves But I think this one falls short because of the reliance of inapp purchases Plus the gameplay isnt particularly novel If theyre looking for app revenue Id rather see them license their tracks to an established music game like Groove Coaster        Love the band not the app

Pretty cool app that lets you tweak and synth your favorite Metric tunes If you spend the big bucks 800 you get it all The purchase selection are is confusing I thought it was going to have me buy the full songs again but no Worth the money impo                 Innovative
