I simply wanted a quick uncluttered easy to use metric computer I use it not only for temperature and speed conversion but its a great quick tool in the kitchen To echo another reviewer it is all you want without all the things you don want Hats off to the developer for the simple elegance of this app It is always a pleasure to get an app that does just what you want no ads all for 1 Thank you                 Exactly what I wanted Clean simple

This app is so easy to use so clear so useful so elegant But it has one big flaw It doesnt go to decimals so things are rounded to whole numbers It is otherwise great A pleasure to use              So close to perfect

At first I thought this is a 5 I like simple uncluttered apps that do what I want not slick looking high cool factor apps that dont This one seemed perfectexcept that its not accurate the most basic requirement Example put in 1 inch and you get 254 cm thats fine 254 mm again fine and 03 m not finewhy the arbitrary rounding The whole point of metric is the ease of conversions I want to see 0254        Rounding stinks

I use this app everyday to convert grams to pounds Last week pounds were presented in decimals Today they are rounded up or down to the whole number That does not help me Fix it please I love the app of last week     Where did the decimals go

Im always having to convert birth weights from kg to pounds and ounces This would be a great upgrade              Good needs more

I have used this app daily for as long as I can remember I was very happy to see the key pad added as well as a DEL and clear function added It made this app perfect But ever since the update there are no decimals 15mm is 1 inch 18mm is 1 inch This once perfect app is no 110 useless Fix the app quickly please otherwise those of us that use it will have to find another solution     What Happened

This is a great app By far the easiest to use and you can see all results for every measurement immediately My only complaint is that there arent enough weight options ie no milligrams grains micrograms You get where Im going An update to address this issue would be stellar              Great app needs more weight options

I just cut 32 pieces of metal the wrong size and I chopped off three fingers because the decimal is missing Please bring the dot back It makes things more accurate     Fix this please

I had used this app a lot but it is now worthless without the decimal points If it isnt fix soon we will all be settled into some alternative app many of which have more features Please just fix it     Why did the developer kill a great app

VERY simple to use VERY fast conversions For example if you enter 1 mile in the Length category it immediately converts this into several different Metric English equivalants Nice And its not cluttered with a bunch of stuff you dont need                 Great Application

I travel frequently and being able to convert metric to familiar US measurements is much appreciated Ive used a variety of apps but the Metric Converter is by far the best It contains functions for length temperature weight volume and speed The user interface is quick and simple no fancy doodads or doohickeys Simply tap on your desired unit to input and type in the value Immediately all other equivalent units of measure are displayed The layout is clean and simple Sure there are other apps out there with similar functions Some even include a currency converter However I find those apps have an awkward user interface requiring many steps to input data and not all equivalents are displayed simultaneously Furthermore the currency converter isnt always uptodate I use a single dedicated app for currency conversions which is more accurate The developer of the Metric Converter Russ Wheaton is always open to new ideas for improvements I emailed him to suggest adding feetpersecond into the speed section Within days he emailed me back saying that he updated the app and implemented my suggestion And yes the new addition works flawlessly as expected If you are searching for a nononsense app to convert measurements look no further The Metric Converter is it Highly recommended                 An absolute pleasure to use

What is the point of a converter that rounds off instead of using the decimal point Whoever the geniuses are who thought removing the decimal point was beneficial need to go back to school And while theyre relearning the decimal concept give us back proper conversions otherwise your app is pointless     No Decimal No Good

I was SO upset I dumped it But I couldnt find another converter that I liked as well Reading the reviews for this one that Id deleted and finding solace in discovering that I wasnt alone about the unwelcomed and useless rounding I was DELIGHTED to read that this could be rectified in Settings I redownladed it went to Settings and even though they misspelled ELEVEN Elevin I chose that and its back to the way it was when I loved it Why isnt that a choice WITHIN the app                 Having rued the loss of the decimals

Ok overall Has basic conversions but nothing beyond that Cant do negative temperatures I suppose it was developed someplace warm That seems a huge defect since I bought it mostly for temperature        Temperature needs work
