At least with this version I can actually sign in to my account and connect with the console Its just that now once I get past that I get no map Tried redownloading the map data and force quitting still a blank map Im not sure what the issue is but Konami needs to learn about QA testing Theyve dropped the ball big time     Better than last version thats not saying much

This is a nice idea for a companion app However like many others have found out it simply does not work It cannot connect to the game so it is effectively worthless     Nice idea but doesnt work

Why anyone in there right mind choose to use this on the tiny screen of an iPhone or iPod touch The Ground Zeroes version works on my iPad Whoever thought excluding iPads or limiting to only select models of iPads should have their head shoved down a sharks throat     No iPad useless

It would be amazing if I could hop on the app and develop new weapons andor send my troops out on missions while Im at work or something If that were possible then potentially Id ALWAYS be training troops and making more GMP        Needs more functionality

May need some tweeks here and there but overall this is the perfect companion app for MGS fans I have been dropping supplies calling for helicopter support and tactically dominating enemies on the battlefield I even have my girlfriend call me up a helicopter pickup on my iPad when I am on the run and cannot put the controller down This app has the potential to be the best companion app to date Keep up the Solid work                 SOLID

Cant use the app because i keep getting error code 0095 And after i login it says connection to the game machine body has failed can anybody help me with that        Error 0095

Take some of the Pachinko machine staff and put them on this     No PC support

Im on Xbox One and I cant connect at all Trust me Ive tried everything to resolve this I keep getting error code 0096 and there is no support to fix the issue on Konami site The interface of the app seems good and easy to understand but theres no point if I cant use it Kind of upsetting to know this game got a 1010 but the companion app is horrible     Unusable

Be warned now broken due to iOS 9 with no news in sight on a fix What little it had to offer is now inaccessible Until this gets an update and better functions it has the lowest rating I can give As many are saying the Ground Zeros version had far more functionality and better stylistic presentation This version feels like a feature poor beta test build in comparison Markers placed end up 300 meters underground when placed from the companion app making the single biggest convenience the app has to offer rather uselessrelegating it to an always on map display at best with questionably accurate data views Calling your chopper to support strike also appears to be entirely absent which is also quite disappointing as there are more options now than before in Ground Zeros for support from the chopper shouldnt we be able to utilize most of those options from the app itself Isnt the app supposed to make our physical device literally the iDroid itself We should be able to build load outs on the fly custom pack supply drops call the chopper into areas to provide cover fire ahead of us as we escape a chasing unit of soldiers conduct scans for materials and soldiers order our buddies to locations as scouts heck make it so feature intense that you could legitimately have a second person use it funneling tactical data to the main player and lining up support options on the flya real life Otocon as it were Instead you can place a marker hundreds meters underground or maybe call the chopper to a pickup zone with the unresponsive tap command after a few tries in frustrationand thats about it The map data views while nice in concept are not as helpful as one may think once in practice and in the heat of the game There is still hope I suppose if this gets major updates and new features to make it a true attached appbut right now as a companion app It doesnt live up to the expectations I would have had for an app that should have had more polish than its predecessor Bottom Line Its a live map a poor mans soliton radar with some game connection independent goodies tacked on and a tiny bit of broken functions laid on top No more and no less Thus 2 stars for the map Worth it if you need an always on map right now Waste of good battery life on your device if you dont     High hopes highly disappointed Updated

No portrait mode is a real bummer I like the floaty UI           Good for cassette tapes

I love it and its amazing but only thing is the map keeps closing Or says it can not connect to the game body or something like that I always have to keep going back to the map and connect to the game           Crashes

Im very interested in using the app but it will not connect to my ps4 I log into my own account via the app and when I go back to the app after entering my PSN log in info it simply acts like its loading but does nothing What do you suggest     Will not connect to ps4

COME ON iOS 9 has been out for like two weeks and still no fix I want to use this app but theres no news or anything Just does not work you mean its taken this long just to make it function give me a break PLEASE FIX sometime in the next decade     UNBELIEVABLE Its been two weeks now no iOS 9 fix

Besides what the others are saying about the bad UI and button visibility it does its job Plus the tapes are fun to listen to while board away from the game The sense of actually using an iDroid is about as immersive as you can get from a companion as the game itself is already beyond immersive              Good tactical advantage for my favorite tactical game

I thought it was gonna be cool when I saw it but when I tried to connect to my xbox but Xbox 360 wasnt an option but Xbox one was why     Why isnt it for 360

Whenever I place a marker on the app it appears far below the game map There should also be a Mother Base Management function Other than that I have no issues           Marking problems

Usability 101 make your app function Heres what the Ground Zeroes app had ease of use It just connected and worked with no fuss Attractive and relevant interface Looked like a perfect adaptation of the iDroid on a tablet Worked on older hardware The function isnt that difficult It ran flawlessly on a first gen iPad mini How do you screw up something like the ground zeroes app THIS Wont work It wont connect When it loads into the map view it tells me a vague error with no way to fix it or suggestions on troubleshooting The map interface is ugly as sin Those snake graphics were on point in the MGS3 opening but have no place in an iDroid menu Plus you cant tell what the icons on the side are Incomprehensible No support for older devices Cant use my mini Seriously I enjoy the phantom pain well enough but as someone who works in user experience this app is not only a useless let down it actually offends me Zero stars     Should be zero stars

Just being honest here I am not going to be using and app while playing the game in front of my face One or the other is going to be ignored and I tell you it aint going to be the game Why make the app where you can only connect to it if your playing the game Am I missing something magical here How awesome would it be if you can send your people on combat ops from work Or develop your FOB while stuck in traffic watch out for that hitchhiker Instead we get to listen to tapes if the game isnt on Tapes I can listen to in game while I do everything described previous The app adds nothing to the experience In fact when the app does its job the GUI is filled so much with eye diarrhea it makes you want to wipe it off your mobile device Which is what I am about to do right now        Whats the Point

Who designs an app for a game released in the same month as a major os update to the platform its intended to be used on comes out and doesnt design it to work under the new os     Poorly designed

Every time I try to use this app I get error code 0095 the connection to the game machine body has failed I have tried numerous times since the game came out I have made sure to try when the game servers are up and running I have tried on both the iPad and the iPhone I always get the same error and I cant find any thing about it online This app is broken     Hasnt worked yet

Thank you Konami for fixing the Xbox One connection issue However I strongly hate the UI I get it the whole Snake Eater skeleton thing but its nearly impossible to see the left sided buttons My second complaint is the inability to launch INGAME cassette tapes via the idroid You had this for GZ and it was GREAT Heck the option might be there but I cant find it because the UI is extremely hard to see and navigate Otherwise turn Marker Display OFF and play like a BOSS would           Please Redesign UI
