After downloading the Mercantile mobile app I would have to say I am happy with the changes except one In the new app I like that you are able to edit the payee information in the bill payment section now through the app However I do not like that you have to go to a separate screen to see your pending payments I liked in the last version of the mobile app where your payee would turn a different color and gave you the date the payment would be processed If this feature could be added to the mobile app I would have no complaints Other than one small cosmetic detail the app is working great                 Mercantile Mobile Upgrade Mercantile Customer

For some reason Mercantile continues to struggle to make a simple and intuitive app The old one was difficult requiring multiple confirmations at various points along the way The good news with the new version is that at least you can get into it with touch ID The terminology that is used is sometimes confusing For example after entering the dollar amount you don t submit you save it To actually submit a transfer you must get a code from your phone and that is just fine however it is not very clear how you re supposed to get it After talking to a representative I figured this out You have to go to view in activity center then you click the down arrow to approve the transaction then you get another screen where you have to confirm the transaction and then you get a phone number to select and then you enter the two factor ID code from a text and then you submit It s nine steps I am all in favor of two factor identification but this is ridiculous The UI is still a mess The color on the menu screen is some kind of awful brown that s really harsh on the eyes And every time you open it you have to dismiss the explanations as to how you re supposed to find additional information Please If you have to provide an explanation you haven t designed it properly Most apps include a faint arrow that indicates that tapping will open additional information And then there is a menu plus a more button Why not put everything in one place Or identify what more actually does Entering the dollar amounts seems confusing Every time I start typing in the number I have to delete something and start over again How can they screw this up Anyway this still needs a lot of work             Still Needs Work Hazeldad
