This is a very good meal planning app but a couple of things would make it even better At the tool kit symbol provide some how to information Eg when exactly will you have enough data to use the wand Ive never seemed to have enough no matter how many weeks were filled in To eliminate duplicate meals provide a pop up before saving The trash can works with great difficulty and sometimes not at all The note addition is great              Suggestions for improvement

I looked for a good meal planner app for ages and most of the one in the market are far to complicated and offer to many options This app is simple and you are working on a week calendar that makes much Sence Extremely easy to use I havent use the groceries list option yet but Im sure it is very useful las well I would like to see a web account for this app so I could log on the computer and make some changes or print it directly from the computer But other ways this app is perfect                 The perfect meal planner

I really love this app However my grocery list only seems to include the upcoming week but I want it two weeks at a time as thats how I shop A how to in the app would be awesome But loving the app                 Awesome mostly

Love this app it is very easy to use I like that you can even search recipes online and add them to plan and grocery list Only thing I would like to see is being able to add my own recipies              Great App

Love this app I have been using on iPad for a while but love the new iphone app It is awesome that I can sync to all my devices and have my grocery list right in my hand                 Wonderful planner

I love this application so far I love that I can type in new recipes indicate ingredients needed and display by meal Once I enter a weeks worth of meals I can look at my grocery list quickly cross off what I already have in stock and head out to the store Would love to have the ability to categorize grocery items so I could view my list by produce meat dairy etc              Great App would love ability to categorize items

Ive used is for a couple of weeks to plan meals out As a working mom I find that if there is no plan we end up eating out or less healthy options This is great for that A few things I wish it did categorize items in the grocery list saves time in the grocery allow for quantities in the grocery items allow for a way to store recipes in case you need to make last minute substitutions in the store Ill probably keep using it but now Im not sure I would have paid 3              Great App but could use a few improvements

Ive got now hundreds of recipes in this program and I love the way its setup but it keeps crashing on me I think it would be nice to import list from other sources than the internet as well           Great idea but crashes

So far I really like this app but would really love an option to view a monthly list              Looks good

I regret to purchase this Its complicate and dont let me add nothing     Difficult

They choose not to have their star rating visible for obvious reason Its difficult to add new items Just dont buy this find something more user friendly and less deceptive     Wasted money

This app is so much easier than most of the apps like it that Ive tried I love the drag and drop system and the little magic wand I wish there was a way to randomly populate by category like Taco Tuesdays or Fish Fridays but overall it has all of the features I need I love the reminder sync Every now and then it wouldnt import the recipe ingredients from a website but most of the time it worked great                 The best of these types of apps that Ive tried

And I think its just a flaw in the app mine will not make a grocery list As that was part of the reason I bought this app I do hope they send out an update to fix this Until then I have to print out the week and hand write the list normally not a problem but I had a stroke last year and writing is difficult I can type ok if I use my iPad my computer is hard to use though              As the mother of 4 the ease of this app is amazing BUT

All I wanted to do was to add grilled cheese but the only way was to find a recipe online to add a simple item Pls make the Add new item a bit easier with the option to add recipe if needed        Not easy to add new food items

Used this app for a few weeks now Its probably the best app on my iPad Its so simple to use and once I get a few more recipes saved it will make it that much easier The built in browser is too cool I was pleasantly surprised to find it interfaced with some of my favorite recipe websites Only thing you need to watch for is the ingredient quantities after you import a recipe But its not a big deal In reading reviews on other apps the main complaint I saw was the pantry feature In theory I could see where it would be nice to have one but seems like a bunch of work to keep up Glad this one doesnt have one                 Highly Recommend

This is the worst App ever you have to delete all the preset meals out of the app When trying to add a web address recipe it covers the days of the week so you cant drag and drop to the days of the week behind the Screen I wish I had not purchased this app     A

Exactly what I have been looking for Love the drag and drop feature and really love the fact that the grocery list tells me which meal that grocery item is for Great purchase and worth every penny                 Awesome App

I love how simple it is to use My only wish would be for a snack section to go along with breafast lunch and dinner so those could be planned for as well              Great App

Its not perfect but it comes close One major improvement that could be made is to allow bookmarks of favorite recipe websites I have my favorite websites I use regularly and repeatedly need to type in the name as there is not a memory of past websites used It would also be nice if the app allowed for a copy of the recipe to be stored as its not always feasible to have Internet access when I use this app Overall though its been a great help with meal planning              Great meal planner

So disappointed If you want to move a meal from one day to the next you have to delete it from the current day and recreate it on the day you want it This app is so basic that its easier to just use notepad and print it User234     Dont waste your money

This app doesnt track whats in the pantry and its not easy to add your own itemsrecipes Ive found that I need to use another app        Doesnt take care of all needs

Only wish there were a web interface to type in all your recipes as it takes forever to type them on ipad                 Great App

I thought the aisle feature would be awesome until I tried printing my grocery list The items print out haphazardly now not as viewed on screen Please fix was 5 stars before           Problem with update

I have really been enjoying planning my meals and have the grocery listed compiled for me However every time I choose a meal from then provided meal steps database the recipe amounts for the ingredients are always messed up Under ingredients and my grocery list it will say a certain amount of something like a 1 tb of oil but then when I click on the actual recipe to follow the directions it calls for 34 cup of oil It has messed up my meals because I dont know which amounts to follow and the amounts in general seem off This just happened again for the vegan lemon poppyseed cake Its in the oven so we will see how it turns out I think it happened to my apple crisp too the crisp part did not turn out Please fix this problem or make it so acquiring other recipes from other sites will acquire the ingredient list too this would be SO helpful           Recipe options

Great app Love it Just wish I could look at it on my iPhone for the shopping list I have to email the list to my phone I dont carry my iPad with me to the grocery           Needs the iPhone version

Makes life much easier This is the meal planning app I have been waiting for Love the ability to drag and drop the link I cant tell you how many times I have lost a recipe forever because I forgot to catalog it I also love that we seem to repeat meals less because I can keep track of the menu Super easy to use interface It now takes me less than 10 minutes to plan and make a list for the entire weeks worth of meals Saves money and less time in the kitchen                 Love it

So I had in mind exactly what I wanted when it came to a meal planning app Well I found the app that works just like that and its MealPlan I love the calendar view that shows each days meals and I love the interface of dragging and dropping items onto the day you plan to eat that Im eating in a more structured way and saving money when I grocery shop because I buy what I plan to eat Less wasted food and more money in my pocket Also I had an issue after updating to iOS 7 I sent an email to support and they personally got back with me immediately AND fixed the problem with the latest update So a great app plus great support is a winning combo Thanks                 Fantastic Just what I wanted

I love to cook but making a grocery list so I dont forget ingredients was a chore before this app However tonight I upgraded and now I cant bring up my grocery list Otherwise Ive loved this app Especially since the list changed from being alphabetized to being grouped by where I would find items in the store              Made 4 me

I really like this app It is easy and intuitive to use and makes menu planning simple I would like to be able to view two weeks at once and I would like to see the grocery list sortable by department The sortable list is on my wish list but if the app would let you see two weeks at a time I would give this app five stars And I love love love the magic wand However not all my grocery items are showing up when I generate the shopping list           Good app could use some small improvement

I used to write down my meal plans but this is way better I love it As a wife mom and full time student it helps me stay organized There are no last minute trips to the store and guesswork every night on whats for dinner Thanks a bunch                 Saves time and money

It gets a star Just Visually its unappealing and makes me want to hide my iPad so no one will see it The entire app looks and behaves as if it were written 15 years ago Maybe its just at first but trying to set up the menus the first week was agonizing Im giving it a star only because it got my money     Clunky

I was excited to use this app to plan my familys meals I cook a wide variety of things and have a toddler as well as an 8 year old I was looking for something to manage meal planning I reluctantly purchased the app and started to try it out I input a number of recipes and their associated grocery items I created a weekly meal plan and tried to create a shopping list None of my custom items showed up in the grocery list I went back to check and all the grocery items I input with the recipes had disappeared Thankfully I hadnt done too much work but I am not happy about shelling out money for something that only works for simple meal planning fish pasta chicken fingers     Dont bother with anything beyond fish sticks

Amazing with the added web feature But it doesnt build a grocery list Maybe thats because its lulling from websites Exactly what I need              Love

Ive used many meal plan apps and this by far is the best On others I found myself spending hours doing things I didnt need to do defeating the purpose of time management My only con and keeping this from 5 stars is I would like to see this app have the full month view so I can see the month ahead at a glance as thats how I utilize my planning tine If that feature is added I will update my review and rating If you plan a week at a time then this view will suit you              Excellent user friendly uncomplicated

I love this app It does take a little bit of work to get ingredients in for recipes but once they are entered and you have that meal scheduled it adds the ingredients to the grocery list Great upgrade on linking to recipes as well I can find recipes online and add them to my list then when ready to make that meal can automatically bring up that recipe in MealPlan This has saved me lots of time from my old paper routine                 Great App

I somehow overlooked that this app does not actually store recipes I totally wasted my money     No recipe storage

I had a very specific idea of what I wanted in a menu grocery list app and Im pleased to say I found exactly what I was looking for in this app In Calendar format I can drag and drop the menu items I want on specific days The menu list can be edited so that you can add ingredients that will populate in you grocery list and you can also add notes and even add a link where recipe is located on web The grocery list is easy to use and once you have an item in your grocery cart you cross it off by touching he item in your list There are other features I have not included in this review but I think its worth every penny                 Excellent App
