DOES NOT WORK WITH IOS 8 This os has been out publicly for three months and much longer in beta Fix your app the video does not work deeming it worthless The app was bad to begin with but now its absolutely useless When it worked it wasnt pretty but it worked Now I can no longer check in on my twin babies when Im away Maybe it will be fixed by they time theyre grown up Hasnt been updated in a year and a half
Everything works with the camera and monitor but I wouldnt say it works very well As far as the app goes it is pretty dated and isnt made to work on the larger iPad screen The pantilt function of the camera is also unavailable Lastly the wifi function cant find my network or any other network for that matter Pretty Underwhelming
The product and the app are both horrible I will never purchase another Lorex product and I am recommending the same to all I followed the instructions to the letter I explored the website in depth I probably spent over an hour on the phone with customer service and they couldnt even find my model number Very nice but absolutely useless App video often does not connect Sometimes it will show live footage that is not live at all There has to be a better product out there I cant imagine a worse one Low grade
Im not sure if its the app or the expensive baby monitor I bought Once I open the app on my iphone5 the so called live video is not live It shows me old footage that was a day ago Like it froze How am I suppose to rely on this and check in from my phone to see my house or kids Lorex please fix this issue It seems like Im not the only one upset about this false advertisement of live video from your smart phone Disappointed

If you follow the instructions and put as much time into setting it up as some of these clowns do complaining online youll find it works great My only concernquestion is the 2way talk in the App The icon was there for it the app asked permission to access the mic I allowed then the app restarted and the option was gone Checked privacy settings and I do in fact have Lorex app approved to access the mic Cant figure this one out yet Works Great
Where do I even begin So we have the Lorex baby monitor It was working fine until the battery started to expand so much that the cover will no longer close The second you lift the handheld unit off of the cradle it shuts off As if that isnt bad enough this app no longer works When you connect to the camera all you get is sound and a black screen Even when it WAS showing video before I updated iOS it was laggy and glitchy This has potential to be an amazing product however the lack of customer support and keeping the products current is a major failure Dont waste your time with this headache Now lets hope I can find a new monitor to replace this one before the battery explodes everywhere ZERO Stars

Doesnt work with iOS 8 Battery pack to my monitor nearly exploded out the back of the hand held monitor screen and had to be removed Now we have no portability Very disappointed Meh

The app works just as advertised You cant pantilt from the app but it says that in the description Some of the people giving it one stars dont have the cradle connected which is a requirement for the camera to stream to the app Not perfect but way better than the 2 stars it currently has Read the instructions folks
It used to work fine with my iphone 4s but doesnt work with the iphone 6 It appears to be online but the screen is black VERY disappointed Please FIX the app Thx Disappointed it doesnt work with iphone6
My wife loved this app It allowed her to check in on our kid while she was at work However since lorex has yet to update the software it has become useless If I only wanted to hear what was going on I would have bought an audio only monitor Used to be great
If it wasnt for this terrible app that is extremely limited in features I would keep this baby monitor The app lets you view the video and listen to the audio but is lacking the other features from the handheld monitor Got it from amazon 20 minutes ago and returning to amazon tomorrow morning Do yourself and your wallet a favor dont waste the money on the care n share baby monitor from lorex Good product terrible app
Unable to view video in iOS 8 It has been three months since iOS 8 was released to the PUBLIC and you still havent updated it for compatibility Come on Youd think that this would be an easy fix but after contacting the company several times and being told that they are working on a fix but still nothing All you can hear is the sound no video for that I would have bought an old fashioned baby monitor and saved a couple hundred dollars Not supported in iOS 8
This app is totally dated frankly I never would have bought this camera setup because of it It was a gift so were keeping it I got it to work on my iPhone 5s once or twice My wifes is better for no reason Same iPhone 5s 16gb on iOS 83 Ugly App that seems to work

This app much like the device itself is flaky most of the time Since I have updated to ios 8 the app no longer shows video just sound I have tried removing and reinstalling and also tried on other iOS 8 phones Hope this gets fixed as this just about renders the app useless Flaky at best
I purchased the lorex camera so that I could watch my elderly mother through out the day I work full time and it was a comfort to me to be able to see her and if she was ok Now it doesnt bring video to my iPhone due to the iOS upgrade Please please fix the app If it will not ever be fixed I will expect to send my equipment purchased back to your company for a full refund False advertising if this app is not fixed Used it everyday Please help Please Help
Downloaded this app to work with the Lorex 3451X It will not work in the Wireless mode once the Ethernet cable is disconnected from the cradle Dont know if its cause of the app but good luck getting an answer from Lorex Called multiple times super long wait times to talk with anyone and every time they say to input your number and theyll call you back they NEVER do Even after talking with a Tec problem was still not resolved Cannot recommend at this point Currently not worth it

You should be able to add up to 6 cameras and also there should be a quad mode not to mention a mode where it scans Options

Have been a fan of Lorex products for a while now When it came time to purchase a baby monitor for our first child Lorex was top of mind I liked this camera because of the option to view remotely but what I didnt expect was for the app to be this out of date Would be great to see an update soon Cant get any remote access to my camera At this point Im considering alternative options that will remove Lorex all together from my home setup because of this Disappointing

This app was as buggy and poor as the hardware which it supports to begin with It would typically freeze within a couple of minutes of opening the app requiring me to restart the app to watch a few more minutes of video Since updating my phone to the iOS 802 I no longer have any video support whatsoever only audio The app has not seen any development since July 2013 Come on guys support your customers else you wont have any left to support No video since update to iOS 802
These reviews are garbage 1 Easily connects to WiFi 2 Multiple cameras easily accessible on phone not connected to WiFi 3 Pan and scan works fine have to wait for small lag time what do you expect 4 Picture quality is superb Bottom linetake the time to set it up as the directions tell you and youll be thrilled The Problem is the User

The app connects to the camera just fine The apps UI leaves everything to be desired however The Lorex Baby Monitor app actually looks like it has more features like temperature monitoring but the Lorex Care app is the only app that works with the Care and Share camera we have The Lorex Care app reminds me very much of NCSA Mosaic and the early days of the internet Looks positively crude in contrast to any other app on my iPhone or iPad I think the interface hasnt been touched since iOS 4 Please update the app fix the web look and feel and give us the rest of the features that the camera supports like temperature monitoring nightlight sleep noise maker etc Works just but the app is awfully dated
So far I can only get this to work on my iphone5 when Im on my wifi network I am able to disconnect the Ethernet cable and it works on wifi I would rate it higher if I could actually access the camera outside the wifi network Neat

This whole system is terrible Constant problems connection trouble switching channels in the app keeps showing the same view from the first camera half the time etc It hardly works correctly I would NOT rely on this camera systemapp to monitor your child from your phone Most likely when you actually need it it isnt going to work correctly Big waste of money and time Horrible
