Some stories alert on my phone 24 hours or more after you ve already reported it on TV That s not an alert Also some stories stay on the feed too long Late to report Babyrn67
Too many video only stories App seems to populate with stories that look more like the click bait ads on many websites Must sit through video ads before every story Watch an ad then video news clip Next video you click on and you get another ad to sit though Really annoying if you have slow broadband It s not like you have to watch an ad on their TV broadcast between every story but you do with their app If you re looking for local news the KION app has much more content Also the stories don t seem to update throughout the day Maybe once a day they add a story Lacks Content Swammy456

1 I would like to be able to actually read the news on this app instead of being forced to watch the video The text is buried at the bottom and so even if I stop the video it s impossible to read 2 The Search engine is wretched Key words names etc frequently bring up nothing when these same key words and names are in the day s news 3 It takes forever to load a story plus I m forced to watch an ad each and every time I go to another story I find this app so annoying I m deleting it Not a very good news app JeanBru
I have always liked your station but your breaking news is very slow Sometimes it comes up to 10 minutes after other channels have reported You have hardly any interest in south county and that s frustrating when trying to get info Slow NanasDayGames

My wife and I just moved to Gilroy from the San Francisco peninsula I find Gilroy to be forgotten city for media coverage Gilroy does not fit into the scope for San Francisco stations and is not generally included in the Monterey Salinas area sphere of influence but I am finding that I get most of my local coverage from stations in the Monterey Salinas area like KSBW Gilroy is a community caught in the middle and orphaned so to speak and I am thankful for what coverage we do get from stations like KSBW Gilroy media coverage South county orphan
I love KSBW but this app is jumbled up and not updated in a timely fashion Stories remain for days and there are no up to the minute or breaking news updates Could Be Better local long time viewer

What is it with you guys sending an alert only to find no story in the app Very disappoint to open the App and discover it had been butchered What was well organized is very frenetic and disorganized now Looks like another local competitors app and I never liked that app either The are some new features that at a good addition and more stories available but it is a jumbled mess Bearpaws

This new version is awful You cant choose what you want to see like the other version And if news pops up as a banner you cant open that notification and have it take you to that story Not so breaking news I guess It just opens the app and the story thats breaking isnt even on top You cant find it At least go back to the version before this one This one is the worst ever Simone need to be fired Its not user friendly at all Stop trying to fix it
KSBW decided to update their app recently The app used to be better than most other news apps I have Now with the latest update its the worst It looks like a cluttered mess of crap I cant find breaking stories If I do find them I cant get them to open with out opening some other story that is unrelated Completely worthless KSBW Just keep it simple so people can read the story they are actually looking for Horrible app
I cant stand watching a 2 minute video you have because they all have ads Its infuriating having to sit though an ad thats 1530 seconds long to watch a video thats 12 minutes The new layout is also a problem Everything looks jumbled together and no longer has smooth flow it used to To many ads
This new version is very confusing There is no order I had to look under weather to find traffic I click on one story and have all of them show up Reverting back to the old version would be much more beneficial My wife uses the app and feels the same way Horrible
Ive been using your KSBW app for sometime now I am NOT enjoying this new update because it is harder to find an article fast I would sometimes check in just for odd news which I found amusing now even that is hard to locate I also do not like that most articles are graphically intense maybe I only wanted to read the news And horoscope adds Why do I need those Saddened in Watsonville Couldve done better

No landscape mode makes this an incredibly difficult app to use The layout change means I only look at it when I have enough time to scan through and find all the articles I want to read I am giving it a 3 because updating didnt wipe out the old version of the app on my devices So Im going back to using the old app Whenif it disappears like it says it will in the banner I will start using the NBC Bay Area News app Ouch

This is one of the worst upgrades I have ever seen an app receive I used to be able to scroll through every news story from several days now I cant even find a full article since theyre buried under videos If I wanted to watch a video Id look at your website or at my television The KSBW app used to be my favorite news app now Im just holding onto it in hopes that they fire whoever authorized this and then revert back to the old version From beat to worst

I thought the older version was easier to navigate and KSBW used to be better about covering incidents that happened around Salinas and South Monterey County Sorry to say KION is doing a better job at becoming my Trusted news source around Monterey County Not all that great
New app has possibilities but I suspect it is better on larger screens than my current iPhone 5 There is something that feels restrictive about the viewing experience that I cant quite describe Not Such a Great Update
I used to check this app every day frequently multiple times to stay caught up on local news Now Im deleting it The layout is terrible half of the stories are videos and its almost impossible to find local news Terrible Update
Ive been using this new app for a couple of weeks and i miss the old version every single time Im confused as to where the updates improvements are because this is soo much more difficult to navigate I do like that the reporters name and bio is visible for every article but thats about it I miss how easy it was to go to the local news and read only local news Here i somehow end up in other categories like politics or national Go back Simpler is better Not all new things are better
PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY The new format is no longer user friendly I like the old home screen where you can select which news subjects at the top And view only that subject For instance I have no interest in sports or politics But I like National Entertainment and Odd News And you did away with the last two Now have to type it in With the new screens everything is mixed together and not separated You have to scroll down to find things The layout of the information is confusing to the eye I hate using the new app it is no longer my favorite news app for local news It will be however if you listen to people and change it back It was much more user friendly KSBW MOBILE APP
