I use NVAlt on the Mac and wanted a companion app This is the perfect mate Love it to death                 Best notes app Ive found

Ill take the almost off and give it an unabashed 5 stars when on ipad air 1 The cursor can be placed where I expect it to be most apps allow you to click whitespace and have the cursor seek it Its finicky 2 Scrolling to the bottom of long notes doesnt cause the notes to partially disappear no data loss just visual Other than those two gripes I really think this app is better than notational velocity better than nvALT better than resophnotes better than nvPY etc Its clean syncs nicely with dropbox and handles hashtags and markdown very very nicely Other programs put tags into additional local files This just looks for hashtags utterly brilliant Would be nice if markdown didnt display at all until a preview button was pressed After the bugs are fixed please dont bloat it with more features Its nearly perfect asis Can we get an OSX version too              GREAT APP almost PERFECT

First lemme say that even if Ive replaced this with another app Scratch I still believe this Jottings deserve 4 stars I love the simplicity speed in creating notes and sync reliability Apps like Drafts can get to be pretty high maintenance after a while The only reason why I had to replace this as my goto note taking app is because I needed the additional share options to Tweetbot Omnifocus Buffer and Facebook Nevertheless Jottings is a fantastic app Loved the tags feature and it would be good if it could display only untagged notes too Would still highly recommend this to my friends who do not need the share options              Fantastic

This app is exactly what I was looking for Its a simple notes app that syncs to Dropbox and saves each note as a txt file instead of some proprietary format unusable by anything else Think of it as being like Apples builtin Notes app but with Dropbox sync and txt format Perfect                 Exactly What I Wanted

Stable good UI My first feature request would be the ability to quickly open notes and save notes to more than one folder without going into settings and changing default folder for the app Also needs a pull to refresh or something as when I add notes from my computer to my Dropbox folder they dont show up in the app unless I terminate it and then reopen it                 Off to an awesome start

Jottings is simply the best markdown notes app on iOS and a perfect compliment to nvAlt for the Mac Dropbox should acquire this app                 Best notes app for iOS

Great simple note application My only wish is to be able to name files I access the same notes from OSX with Notational Velocity where the title of the note is determined by its file name The inconsistency is a little irksome                 Nice app wish I could name files
