Intextive Clipboard

So I started messing around with this an hour ago and so far Im really impressed Because it has less buttons on the screen I had no idea how it would work out but its other features make up for it by far The larger buttons make it much easier to type what I want instead of garbled text and the word guessing feature makes up for the time it takes to switch between letter sets The word guesser is pretty good too There are only a few issues I have with it The return button and backspace button are not in the places Im used to so I keep making a new paragraph instead of correcting a mistake Switching the backspace button and return button might be a good idea Also theres no way to highlight segments of text in order to easily edit it So if I want to change an entire sentence or more I have to press backspace over and over again Theres also no spellcheck like there is in the standard notebook Might think about those things              Impressive so far

Update 82014 Still working on iPhone 5 with iOS 84 but showing some issues backspacing to erase words sometimes stops working for a while you can still type erase new letterswords before becoming responsive again spacebar is very hard to actuate Update 112014 Still working fine on iOS 71 Earlier comments still apply Orig comments of 2013 For all the glory Apple receives for their slick UI the iPhones have pioneered NO advances in text entry None OK theres spell check with auto correction but that feature only works after you hit all the necessary buttons to make a word It does autocomplete some words but frankly that happens only occasionally for me For me the Ancient clever T9 scheme on presmartphones was more advanced ie a SPEEDIER LESS TEDIOUS means of text entry than what the good people of Cupertino have sold us Enter this app There is a number X for which it can be stated This app will reduce you the number of taps required to enter text by X Im thinking that X has to be somewhere around 50 or higher Easily Theres no way X is down in the 1020 neighborhood No way Downsides because of iOS restrictions Im sure no app can replace what iOS offers I havent developed on iOS but it appears that apps can be externally configd to use a flavor of iOS QWERTY keyboards Accordingly the best that alternativerevolutionaryinventive text entry interfaces can do is exist as a separate standalone app working as follows 1 User wants to enter text in some app 2 User opens intextive 3 User enters text in intextive 4 User returns to original app wo needing to manually selectcopy anything pastes text where desired Weaknesses you cant do any text selection in intextive making editing hard limited range of symbol characters no dollar percent pound it adds a space after each word it autocompletes but ought to delete that space after certain punctuation symbols are entered It does learn words updating its wordbase each time you leave the app but it would be nice to accelerate the process by uploading a dictionary list                 Nice stable predictive completion is great
