Good updates that keep making it better Love the Turbo Training                 Great Job
eye95 pretty much captures much of what Ive experienced Most importantly though the stats on this software do not carry back to the machines console or viceversa Worse is the fact that that the machine settings on the console with regard to program intensity levels etc do migrate over to the software on the iPad The machine console comes with a factory default of Medium intensity and yet the iPad software is set to Low whats wrong with this picture In other words 120 watts or Level 12 at Medium on the machines console ends up being 80 watts or Level 8 at Low on the iPads software Lots of work needs to be done on this software and I agree with eye95 that BodyGuard could hit one out of the park by getting their programmers to straighten out these issues Otherwise with exception of looking impressive when compared to a dot matrix screen the functionality of the software is virtually useless        Great Idea Virtually Useless
The app is not intuitive at all and it does not motivate you to exercise better     Useless
I have wanted an iPadcontrolled treadmill for the longest time However this app does no live up to its potential The only real advantages to hooking the tablet up to the treadmill is that it records a history of all exercise events while providing a sleeker interface than the rudimentary screen that comes with the treadmill Functionality that does not work 1 BPM dont display on the iPad The tablet does show the range but doesnt show the exact measured BPM 2 Late in the day the app records the exercise as happening the next day The app should be reading date time and time zone from the tablet settings Some additional functionality that would make this app and the concept of exercise tracking with a tablet worthy of five stars 1 The software makes assumptions presumably based on age weight and sex what BPM ranges correspond to what exercise levels I should be able to enter a max HR based on my own calculations 150 is nowhere near my max At 150 I can still carry on a conversation 2 The treadmill should be able to pair with a coded chest strap allowing the use of existing equipment 3 The app should allow direct setting of speed and incline even if the treadmill hardware does not have those buttons At the moment the buttons on the app simply mirror the buttons on the machine 4 Audible alerts when the app is in the background would make using the iPad to watch videos possible without losing track of exercise progress 5 User keeps defaulting to Guest The default should be configurable 6 The app should link with other exercise apps Fitbit comes to mind to either send or retrieve information to or from other apps It cant record steps however if it linked with other apps or with other exercise trackers Fitbit foot pod it could add that functionality 7 Recorded data is not editable It can only be deleted I could go on There is so much unrealized potential Bodyguard has the opportunity to set the standard for fitness app functionality So far they havent taken advantage Three stars because the app is such a good idea and it functions on a very basic level           Could be better
Part of the draw of purchasing our Bodyguard treadmill was the ability to use this app however it has been quite a disappointment Our treadmill will stop halfway through a program and the elevation controls work sporadically when iPad is attached If program is paused we lose our accumulated elevation stats and it restarts the stats all over when program continues In interval training the progress needle lags almost 30 sec or more behind the actual program diagram The 520P treadmill was a huge expense and we expected an app that would match the quality of the machine and enhance the abilities of it Please improve Id love to rewrite a review that is good     Needs Improvements
December version would crash and stop the treadmill The most recent bug fixes means app wont even open     Broken now
After updating to iOS 8 the app just crashes There has been no support for this app     Useless
I just bought a T260P treadmill This app works nicely with the treadmill but it could be better Having the ability to have preset incline buttons similar to the A and B buttons that they have for speed settings would be a nice touch Also having the ability to design custom work out routines on the app without having to do it through the console would be a big plus This way you could set your 20 segments through the app for speed and incline and you could do it away from the machine itself when you have time to do it on your iPad To get the most from having a great app like this it would be awesome to be able to adjust routines make custom settings and custom work out routines on the iPad when youre away from the treadmill and you have time to do it              Cool but could be better
