iCattleLog is a utility to allow cattlemen to log cattle records on their iPhone. It can be used to record calving, breeding, vaccine and other treatments and any other pertinent records.
App was great and kept track of all that I needed until I installed the latest update Once the update was complete all my information was gone with no way of getting it back Very upsetting Lost all information
When transferring data the app will not upload all your saved data The app has very poor backup capabilities I dont want to see anyone in the beef industry put all their hard work in record keeping in this app and then loose all the data due to the poor design I have transferred all my data in an app called errands you can e mail batch files email the data base file for backup or email the data base to another farm hand that has the app and they can update all their records Or you can save the data base in dropbox or I cloud All works flawlessly and very easy Would not reccomend
Ive lost more cow data than I have saved 60 version will not open To big of a chance to loose important dates to have it lock up One mad cow man

Ok so is there anyway I can sync the data that I have on this app thats on my iPhone to the app on my iPod touch I think that needs to be considered for the next update because its a pain having to redo everything Plus it always crashes whenever I try to select gender under the system settings Please fix A little confused
The older version allowed a quick glance on the inventory page for reference to calving dates and sex of calf Wished they wouldve kept that Indiana
The concept is great I like how simple it is Please keep it that way However I agree with Angus Farmer that the data needs to sync with a central cpu or online database or at minimum be able to print out data Also it would be nice to sync multiple phones to one centralized database where multiple people can report on the same herd Also I would like to know the capacity before i enter 12 the herd and realize that I have utilized all the space Looking forward to the next version thanks for the app The concept is great

Covers the basic needs for record keeping Easy to use However the program needs a couple of refinements 1 the ability to backup data and 2 the ability to print or export the data Covers Basics
There needs to be an ability to search this database app and enter WW YW etc But dont get me wrong its a great app After using it for awhile it would certainly be nice to enter breedings and preg etc to get a due date Would be willing to pay more for an app that provided more if all this goes beyond their intended scope of this app Very nice app for cattleman but
Worked great Until I had to get a new phone and the data didnt back up with the program and lost it all V25
Save your money For this price you can buy several different record keeping apps that have better instructions allow you to collect more data and will link to your computer andcloud All this app does is collect very basic data you cant enter vaccinations deworming schedule weight gains medical notes etc It does hint that if you upgrade to Pro youll get more Central Texas
Yes an update had issue way back but support helped get everything back and saved the day Update Issue Support saved the day
Ive been using iCattleMgr since the beginning Great app for a great price My fav feature is that no one but me has my data unless I share it I have to say it is a full service app RobertsRanch
Well i had my heard in an earlier version of this app and upgraded The photos and cow numbers made it thru the upgrade process but all my other data like purchase date etc seems to be gone I can always take another picture and read the tag I can not reproduce the history You might as well use a software like excel where you can print pages for a note book so you wont loose the data Ill contact the developer to see if there is a way to recover the data Loose your daya upgrade
Just great so farThe best app on the market for a cattleman Love it Hope one day they will add a way to log your sale prices for your calves so you can track it one year to the next Cattleman
