I just found out that there is a newer version of this app that you cannot update to if youve bought the original Thats fairly disappointing I use this app often and love the features Its irritating that Id have to buy it again to use the newest version Ugh

Just started using it and one major flaw comes out I cannot record a final gravity less than 1 which makes it difficult for mead makers Flawed but good

Ive been using this app since my second batch and have nothing but praise I input all my recipes and am able to control all aspects of the process on the fly leaving the guesswork behind The mash and boil timers are awesome and have made brew day a lot easier I also love that it automatically calculates watergrain ratios strike water temps I tend to go a few degrees higher SRM IBUs and gravities An essential tool for every brewer in my opinion iBrewMaster does it all
I use this app every single time I brew now I trust it to accurately calculate strike and sparge water volumes IBUs and gravity I like the fact that no matter where Im at I have my recipes at my fingertips If Im researching a clone recipe from homebrewtalk I can punch the numbers in on ibrewmaster and get accurate results Great product beta the hell out of having to be in front of a computer promash to make calculations when I need to be in the garage keeping an eye on my mash or boil Easy To Use
This app has proven to be an extraordinary tool in developing ideas in brewing I looked at other software but this one is the most intuitive while having a comfortable user interface I also bought the iPad app because the larger screen is handy on brew day I highly recommend getting this app Despite the bugs in the second version it allows the user to tailor the app to suit their goals The autocalc tools make it a breeze to work with once parameters of your system are dialed in Best app for brewing that I have seen I love it
This app is very helpful not only on brew day but also in helping keep track of the entire process from buying ingredients through bottling I am still brewing extract but am working towards all grain Very much worth the price of admission and I havent even gotten to half of the features I also cant praise the level of developer support enough These guys have always gotten back to me within 1224 hours without fail whenever I had a question and are constantly updating to make the app better Keep up the great work Great app

This app is straight forward and very easy to navigate No more spreadsheets You can add you own recipes and keep track or use many of the recipes listed Not only can you send your recipes via email and even print a copy but this app will keep inventory of all your supplies Ive been brewing for a short time and this App makes my brewing so much easier with all the automatic brewing formulas and I can have all my brewing info on hand at all times CHEERS Very user friendly App
This has definitely freed me from the laptop but it took a while to configure it how I want Water volume is tricky I created my own mash profile because the current settings had my end volume all messed up With a little trial and error its getting there Mr
This program works fantastic for creating viewing tracking and using brew recipe Its easy to use and it makes sure I dont screw up the brewing process I like the calculators timers functionality of the displays the best It has a few idiosyncrasies which is the only reason it didnt earn a five but I think its definitely one of the best programs out there written for the iOS Very good

Crashed on my iPhone 4 two out of first five times using it On my first recipe one hop Falconers Flight and and one addition lemongrass were not available and there was no option to add Despite that the calculations this app does offsets that issue Great app but some limitations

If youre looking for an app that can save and record the recipes you have created this will reliably do the trick Its great to check the app when youre inside your local home brew shop to see what ingredients you need for your next batch It lacks detailed stylistic descriptions of malt hops yeast but it does contain the basics alpha acids colors etc Overall I enjoy the app but it does have some limitations Its a little difficult to add your own ingredients that arent already in their library its possible but difficult Overall I do recommend this app Good archive for recipes
This app would earn a five star rating if it would automatically keep track of the inventory I input Currently I must manually input the decrease in inventory after each batch I like this app even though it took me a while to figure out all the bells and whistles mainly inputting mash steps properly and adding items in the database Now it is all I use on Brew Day and just want it to track the decreases in inventory when I brew a batch Not for beginners but almost perfect

For 1500 how can anyone complain I spent close to that on a brew bucket The app is great It keeps track of my recipes batches allows me to modify recipes and get an idea of what the changes are going to do it allows me to know if the changes Im making stay in style guide lines it has alarms to help me on brew day keeps track of my schedules for transferring to secondary and bottlingkegging as well as ton of other features I dont even use I was looking at some of the poor reviews and noticed most of those were human error It my opinion you cant go wrong with this app Best 15 you will spend on your brewing equiptment Favorite Piece of Equipment
I have been using this app for nearly one year In that time I have noticed many unfavorable issues while at the same time reading about other issues from other users These issues are not being addressed My problem with this app is I PAID FOR IT AND I GET BETTER PERFORMANCE FROM MY FREE APPS The authors seem to be asleep They have taken my money and gone away Im still waiting for the first upgrade since I downloaded this app nearly one year ago Sad IBrewMaster Has Many Issues
You can use the recipes provided or make up your own It even tell you if the style youre giving your beer is consistent with the ingredients youve entered Calculates everything from SG through expected ABV Timers remind you to do everything from when to add your hops all the way through racking to secondary and bottling legging Contrary to some other reviews Ive had zero problems with this app Calculates and tracks everything

I love the recipe formulation and the massive amount of recipes and ingredients The one thing that bugs me is that when scaling up a recipe it often tells me that I cant scale up above 9 packets of yeast Almost enough

Best brewing assistant I have used Very simple great database of ingredients and I love the ability to email my recipes especially to myself so I have hardcopies Also love the fact that the app tells you of your recipe is within the styles guidelines Very fun and useful Love to Brew
Does everything I need very well The main selling point was the ability to print I like having a hard copy of my recipes Couple glitches Ive noticed is you cant select the last recipe on the list its covered by a menu And if you change the scale of a recipe then back it does not go back to the original quantities Works very well

Dont buy I dont know if this is a push to make users of this version pay for their new program but for a week i cannot open this app at all it crashes right away I contacted customer service but only got an auto reply and no actual customer service I have batches going and custom recipes that I now fear are all lost What a disappointment Worked ok until last week now worthless
I constantly use this Wish they would do a resource bank update Tutorial on how to really dial this app in to your brew system would be helpful Wish there was a better way to dial in accuracy of extract steeped grains So room for improvement but best app purchase I ever made Great app
