This is the free version so the amount of birds are limited but it s wonderful                 My grandson loves it C5641

This app use to cover birds in my area not anymore I guess Ibird south was a great app This is a let down I ve had it on two phones and with each update it gets worse and worse I can t for the life of me figure out why I keep it         Not like the old app Scottftw

While this free app has only 40 species it s a great way to try out the features of the paid iBird apps It s small size means it can be installed quickly over a cellular network The best feature is the Birds Around Me or BAM which lets you use GPS to find just what species are likely to be found in a 25 mile radius around your location This feature is found on their iBird Ultimate app but not on Pro or Plus                     Great way to discover iBird naturefaith

This version is a waste of time The older purchased version worked good this version functions as advertising for upgrades It will not give you local bird information So I suggest purchase upgrade version or go to Peterson Guide     Sampler Wili l

After discovering iBird features via iBird Lite I bought iBird Ultimate There is also a bundle of iBird Ultimate Hawaii and Journal with a big discount I d like to recommend the publisher use an in app purchase feature and let us buy just the species we are interested in or by state etc                     Great Starter and a suggestion American Dipper

Another good update to an already great app Really appreciate the improvements taking advantage of iOS 9 and inclusion of iCloud backup Impressive functionality I m glad I tested the free version before I upgrade to iBird Ultimate to get full access to all the beautiful photos and bird calls just in time for the upcoming Spring season                     New 3D Force Touch feature is very cool dacidom

This edition is really limited Select one aspect of what you are looking for and that is it Frustrating         Could be MI State fan

This app is very informative but inaccurate with BAM Says we only have one type of woodpecker when we have another type Also does not list other birds as well I had to google birds in my region and use another source to identified these birds The info it gives you on the birds listed in their directory are excellent         Nice but inconsistent JAWJA42

This app helped me pick iBird Ultimate over Sibley and Audubon The fact it had both drawings AND photos plus a very powerful search engine along with a humongous amount of data clinched it However I had to upgrade to iOS 7 before it worked                     New Birds Improvement amurderofcrows

Trying to ID a white bird I saw I could find nothing that matched using search features So I typed in several names sea gull gull kite snow goose and snow and each if these revealed nothing They don t appear to be in the database I ended up just googling these things Disappointed         Disappointing AppGranny
