The HP41cx calculator uses Reverse Polish Notation RPN which is an absolute must for me The HP41cx program by Antonio Lagana faithfully replicates the original HP41 and adds all the bells and whistles which were later developed for the calculator all in one package Not only do you get the fabulous HP calculator but you get all the overlays the ability to run a tape with graphics the extra memory all the programming functions the extreme precision and RPN This program yields an excellently fully functioned easy to use calculator It is a joy to use                     Better than the original EyeballDoc

I ve had this app since September 2014 and I turn to it constantly It is so good I deleted all the other calculators on my phone I still have my 41CX but I use this version much more often I feel it was totally worth the money My current complaint is that it s taking over 1GB on my phone Why The app is about 130MB so why does it need so much more for data and documentation I want to minimize this Please tell me how or implement it My phone is only 16GB and I can t have the app taking up so much of it                 Totally worth the money tonykara

March 2 2015 Thanks for the update I d give this app 6 stars if I could This is the most amazing app I ve ever seen I bought it years ago thinking I merely had a powerful calculator Only recently did I discover the huge number of FREE plug in modules which turn the i41CX into any number of specialty calculators For example if you 1 put the FINANCE module into one of the 4 open slots 2 set it to the FINANCE overlay and 3 type XEQ ALPHA KEY MONEY ALPHA KEY you will have yourself a financial calculator so powerful it ll bring tears to your eyes This one example only scratches the surface of what you can do with this app There is so much more to this app module wise but on top of that it has programmability and CAS You can view a printer tape and email results The question is what can this calculator NOT do Downloading the modules is how you tap into the multitude of abilities this app has then follow the 3 steps above for the particular calculator you want the i41CX to become I recommend getting the Mini Manual to help you get going It s a free download easily found in any search engine Footnote about a month ago I did buy a dedicated Financial calculator for 8 in the App Store As good as it is it turned out I wasted that 8 since what I described above far and away surpasses it I had questions which the developer promptly responded to that s always a huge plus for me                     So powerful I may never fully plumb the depths of this app festal

I ve been using i41CX since it first came out and it s the best HP 41CX emulator out there its actually better than a my real HP 41CX since its faster smaller and has more functions The extensions for CAS and GPS support are well done It continues to support my original iPad 1 with IOS 5 1 1 yet takes advantage of IOS 8 by adding a widget so you can do quick calculations or even run the full calc as a widget If you re looking for an RPN calculator you can t go wrong with i41CX I like it better than PCalc                     The new widget is awesome DanburyMadHatter

It s a testament to the affinity people have to the HP 41CX calculator that someone would develop an app that is not only a faithful reproduction of this venerable calculator but actually improves upon it Downloading and setting up the i41CX is a breeze The modules are a snap to import The documentation is clear and easy to understand I was able to easily import my personal programs into the i41CX on my iPhone then export them to emails and then import them from the emails into an iPod Touch that I also use I m glad to be able to easilly backup my programs on email The app makes it extremely easy to do The HP 41CX got me through my electrical engineering curriculum Having the i41CX easily accessible on my iPhone and iPod Touch makes me feel like I have an old friend back Thank you thank you thank you for this app                     The HP 41CX and Then Some HP-41CX User

The i41CX is a FANTASTIC HP41CX emulator complete with plug in modules and keyboard overlays I own four original HP41 calculators and a fair number of modules but even the most reliable of these 30 year old electronic devices occasionally crashes and loses data programs This app allows the user to avoid the frustration of malfunctions while still enjoying the versatility of this relatively powerful and definitely historic computing device Sure even the cheapest weakest PC available today can do WAY more than a HP41CX can do and do it much more quickly But these old calculators required you to really use your brain to plan out programs utilizing limited memory and program steps Sometimes I have fun trying to think of new ways to solve problems within the calculator s limitations I also like the notion that I m using the same device NASA chose as the back up for the Space Shuttle s computer navigation system I just wish the App Store had charged me the upgrade price instead of the full purchase price since I previously shelled out 7 99 for the basic i41CX app I m not sure what went wrong in the purchase process but I was definitely overcharged So five stars for the great calculator app and at most two stars for customer service                     The best HP41CX available OWCA-Va

Back in the eighties I used the original HP 41c and its descendants for technical work on contract for the USAF so having this program is a dream come true The original was astoundingly good this is even better smaller faster more memory modules much less expensive etc if you do not already know reverse Polish notation which the calculator uses you will have a short learning period then all will be MUCH faster than with a standard algebraic calculator The 41C is almost addictive I cannot imagine using any other calculator now Recommended w o the slightest reservation                     What a calculator Pi3141592

The 41CX carried me through college back in the 80 s I was ecstatic to see the iPhone app I ve been using the app for years now and am very pleased Not only is it great to have the full features and then some of the original 41 series but having the option of the distinctive audible feedback on each keystroke is INVALUABLE in that it provides assurance that your keystrokes are executed properly since there is no tactile feedback of true buttons as their is on the original 41 hardware You can hear and feel the audible in this app Full featured and reliable Great job                     My main iPhone calculator for years Hamp99

This is the calculator that got me through engineering Even better than the original with a built in printer and CAS features My only complaints are that the loading of ROM packs and overlays leaves much to be desired and help is a mixed up mess when you consider docs for the simulation docs for the calculator and docs for the ROM packs are all to be found in different places and accessed different ways But when it comes down to the number crunching this calculator really shines It leaves me with the feeling of what a wonderful calculating device the developer could put together by taking the best ideas from this project and designing a powerful AND user friendly calculating tool                 Great do everything calculator owndao
