The Houganshi is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.3 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1 has been released on 2014-08-30. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. So far I like the way you can draw lines and layer the sketches I wish you could make curves as well as shade with hatch or solids Free version
Controls take a bit of getting used to and a good amount of trial and error to learn how to use since they are all icon based with no tool tips The basics are pretty good though However with the latest release the ability to hideview the layers seems to have stopped working with the addition of various colors to select from Basically a good app but
Works well enough However I wish there were more functions like exporting as a document or image or some type of printing option At this point all I can do make a layout and have it simply exist on my iPad Simple but works
The app works good it definitely needs a little more functionality at the momentbut overall a good app so far Works good

Dont waste your time with this app Does not work
You CAN use this but theres an unbearable delay Very laggy tested on IPhone 5 Way too unresponsive
It is nearly impossible to see the lines youve drawn on the graph paper and there is no option presented to make the lines thicker Changing colors helps but not a significant amount Lines to thin

Original app WAS a fivestar and when fixed so will this version But this new version is buggy when I try to export or any of the new actions under the gear icon the screen goes grayish and the program freezes permanently Reopen lets me continue drawing but the new features seem to be not working yet This update buggy
It would be nice to have instructions what do those numbers means and why does only number 6 seem to do anything at all Also other options like cell shading would be great Needs work

It is a solid and easy to use to use free graph paper app It is almost required to pay the 99 to use it fully which I dont mind but it is missing some major features like adding text curved lines shapes and easily moving things around I hope to see it mature Excellent free graph paper
Fairly simple interface however you really cant do more than draw lines On my iPad Air the lines are so thin that you can barely distinguish them from the background grid Save and Load are disabled unless you pay to unlock those features so without paying you cant do much more than evaluate the software Very Limited

Works excellent however it needs to be able to add text and the ability to change thickness of lines in order to use effectively Also printing and email should be easier I am using this for work already and I look forward to updated versions Great tool
