Bought this thinking that it would help But then I realized I could just hang my hammock and adjust it until I got it right The app is confusing and hard to use     Useless HuntErrrr11

So I bought this specifically for figuring out the 30 angle I m relatively new to hammocks but have loved them all my life I have one on a stand in my backyard and I want to hang one in my home office and also take it with me camping hiking etc So step in first the website then the app Good thing the app works in airplane mode I bought it hoping it would since the description did not say Yet one of my favorite local county parks has zero reception so I needed the app to work without internet access Awesome It does Bad it has an angle hang option but it doesn t explain how to use it Which direction do I hold my phone Vertical Horizontal Am I holding it against the rope The tree post or wall I am mathatically challenged It just is not intuitive to me I need to be told what and how to measure for the elusive 30 hang A set of simple instructions would make all difference for using this one option Maybe a photo or diagram Uncertain newer hammocks have straps with carabiner hooks sewn on rather than long lead line ropes I m not sure how to adjust for that I can say my husband will be thrilled with the load weight because he tends to over engineer anything his family might be hanging from swings hammocks hanging chairs for their safety He will be very happy to see that when purchasing the correct hardware for hanging in my office I m sure where the hanging chair is in my office it s engineered to hold probably the entire family             Good and bad Cleopatra peanut

Does the job is you are trying to figure your anchor point but as another reviewer noted it CAN T calculate your suspension needed if you have a known fixed anchor height Also it let s you swap between metric or Imperial English measurement styles but bizarrely forces you to use decimal style feet instead of using feet and inches 14 6 is not 14 6 which is 14 5 Since all this app really does is a single math formula for you forcing you to do some of the math before input is unfriendly Simple to add that but this app has not been updated in a long time It s pretty though and if you avoid its limitations does its job albeit in a rather overpriced way             Still incomplete klaouoparndbjduusihh

This is great because it eliminates trial n error setup which is frustrating But it does have a fixable flaw The equation of this app focuses on anchor height but what if the height is set and you need to know suspension length This is the case with patio hammock stands With a stand all other variables are fix numbers Knowing how long you need your suspension rope to be is the only unknown Back to trail n error Simple make all elements in the equation variable with a lock to mark which element is the unknown X             Good but incomplete F1FireKing

I have a double nest eno and before I was hanging it up in my room with no room in it Once I did this I have enough room and comfort to really fit two people in it                     It works great carol wilson

This is a pretty good app I can estimate the distance between trees well enough and this is handy for figuring out how high to hang my straps to get the angle and sitting height I want without a bunch of eyeballing and adjustment The cord tension and shear force numbers are a good reminder when you re selecting your suspension materials and hang points The new design is not as cool but is much more practical and far easier to read The inclinometer is something I had in other apps but this one is available with the tension and shear force data which is an eye opener as you tilt the phone near horizontal This is a 5 star app once the blue box issue gets fixed                 Pretty good madsent

I did not know that this app wont run on Macbook I want refund I cannot find a way to contact Customer Service for refund I looked at it and found worth useful calculator for setting up Hammock I tried it in Internet             Won t run Macbook AVWDiamonds

It freezes and locks up every time on my iphone4 It lets me input my data but then locks up forcing me to delete and re download the app to reset the data back to default before allowing me to input more data J             Great but JDBaughman
