goWriter - Word Processor for Google Docs™, Google Drive™

I tried several other google doc editing apps I like the balance of simplicity and features this one provides The editing window is clean and simple I love the one row of text formatting options above the keyboard which makes so much more sense than having it way up at the top of the screen especially if youre holding the iPad and typing with your thumbs I found one bug which I notified the developer of The one major improvement it needs is a better google docs browser Currently it simply lists all your docs in a long list I have a lot of folders to organize my docs so this does not work for me Im just dealing with it right now but I strongly encouraged the developer to redesign this as well as making it possible to do some file management from within the app including sharing options If that were changed this would easily be a 5 star app Hopefully updates will be forthcoming           Good for a 10 version

Im really hoping the developers of this app are working on the many many bugs that exist in this app I would love to be using this But as it stands its very unreliable and quirky Browsing a hyper link for example renders the app unusable and there is no way to get back to the document you were editing The heading and paragraph style button does nothing and it can only browse your most recent google docs with no easy way to organize by folders or browse folders Also it only saves the document every 5 minutes and apparently doesnt auto save on close which means Ive lost my work a few times trying to open it on the web instead of in this app In short its not ready for prime time yet But I hope they will release updates to fix it because an app to edit google docs on my ipad that includes true google doc style and the handy extra keyboard row is awesome        Great potential but

This app only shows the first layer of Google Drive meaning that it shows that all my folders are empty meaning I cant actually access any documents unless I abandon any organization system since theyre all in folders making this a waste of money Please figure this out and update     Not functional

SO disappointed Unable to access my Google Drive Docs to edit in GoWriter Please fix quickly and make it work as advertised Also complete silence from so called Customer Support Seems like false advertising on 2 counts to me Creating a new test document WAS fun n easy but thats not what made me buy this app        GoWriter

All I need is a keyboard and my iPhone Its that easy to write anywhere I am                 Use it every day

Worked brilliantly yesterday day of install Today nonstop crashing Cant even get my doc open Also I lost all of yesterdays edits when it gave me the option to save older or newer Yesterday the newer kept crashing so I wrongfully chose older Tried to redo work but app wont even upload my existing file     App crashing nonstop

This app does what it says You can access your google drive download documents save them locally work on them offline and resave them on Google Drive That part seems to work quite well The word processor side of things could use the most work Options are available fonts formatting etc in a long row of buttons at the bottom with more scrolling by if you press as arrow Its a clumsy way to do it I hope the creators change the program because the basic idea is good and works pretty well As is it gets 3 stars and might be worth a purchase if you want the offline editing for Google Docs           It works as advertised

It can not see files in google account Thus I havent been able to edit any files Stay away from this at Nov 2013 version     This thing needs some serious work

I bought the app thinking that I could use it but I was unable to use it without giving up all privacy on my phone People should refuse to buy andor use apps that violate their privacy so blatantly     Google is too nosey

Please consider improving your folder selection tool I was unable to choose a subfolder because it did not appear in the list Also please consider adding suggestionstrack changes this is the only reason I purchased this app because track changessuggestions are not available on the current native app     disappointing

I chose this app because you can work offline for google docs The app screws up the layout of the documents which defeats the purpose of trying to make a document I can access anywhere I wish I could take my money back     Not Good

I do not have a functional laptop to write papers with this app definitely helps in that category There were no reviews and I was skeptical on purchasing the app but the other apps this developer created received great reviews Why Not                 Great App
