Google TV Remote

Love it but it needs an update Would also like it to stay paired with the tv even if I do close out of the app                 Google Remote

Cant connect Seem like a common problem Almost makes me want to sell my Goog stock This hasnt been updated in years They should just pull the app It makes Google look bad     Doesnt work

I have the same problems others have with this app It freezes and needs to be paired repeatedly I tried it once before but deleted it Now my remotes going bad and Im trying it again Dont think I can manage it though        10 Really

Pointless to install and a shame I cant use this with my Google Nexus player This app appears to not be maintained anymore since its last update in 2011 Reminds me of Google Voice     Wow Worse then the outdated Google Voice app

A very good app but the keyboard dosnt support Arabic very disappointment           We need arabic input support

I use this app for my TV when my kids hide the remote and it has disappeared into this abyss that resides somewhere in our home When I had an older iOS and used this app on my iPhone 4 it worked well Perhaps a rare few times it couldnt connect to my TV but I would close and reopen the app and eventually it would I downloaded the app when I upgraded to iPhone 6 currently using iOS 82 Now almost every time I open the app it cant connect right away like before Ill end up having to pair both devices again each time I use the app if its been a while since its last use And if it does sync for a moment and I happen to close the app it wont reconnect if I need the app again shortly after It becomes useless for several hours before I have to repeat the process of pairing them again It was a great app when it was reliable I keep waiting for an update but it looks like thats just never gonna happen Ill keep hoping but its quite a disappointment Why keep the app in the App Store if Google wont keep with updates and patches        Desperate need of an update

When I first got my apple tv 2 years ago this app was very useful but this app is so old and the look is quite disappointing The app sometimes doesnt connect to my tv randomly closes out of the app and sometimes just freezes all together The app was never cared for and never got updated hence why it is this on version 10 I dont understand why a company as rich as Google cant just pay someone to update the app Kind of disgraceful actually I expect more from them        NEEDS UPDATE

Its great for our Google TV but when it comes to selecting with the directional pad its very quirky Needs improvement in this area and Ill give it more stars        Ok for what it is

The app works fine when youre using it but as soon as you go to a different app or lock your phone and go back to the google tv remote app it fails to connect to your device I have to renew my lease with my router in order for it to connect again Convent app just needs updating           App needs updating

I really like the app but it can be smarter Add plugins for external devices like my Xbox and cable box I would also love to see the prime tv menu on the app It would be cool to see whats on tv in a Netflix artwork browsing style but for my portable deviceswhat Im asking for is kinda like the new sling box app which I own but not used on the Google tv Still usefuladding place shifting support to google tv would be awesome but this is all wishful thinkingespecially from the iOS version of this app                 Please add more features

It works well to onoff and to switch inputs The problem that I had when I bring up voice command it crashes on me when I try to bring it up on iOS 712 software and it intends to crashes when bringing up certain options But it is not terrible The Sony NSX32GT1 I set it up and it was DHCP and needed to be setup on a static connection for tv to communicate on the network and it was pretty easy for me to do I only wish to see google continue support for this app           Google TV worksbut needs updating

I was having the same problem everyone was having with needing to sync it every time The solution that worked for me was changing the name of my phone under settings and now it works great              I figured it out

This app is great and useful I use it a lot but it crash when I try to use the microphone I use iOS 7 Please advice           Azuofer

I hit the microphone button but I breaks the app and I have to restart the app what does it do anyways The app is great but its just that can you add a Help page too but other then that the app is perfect              Microphone Control

This app does not work with IOS 8 You cant connect it to the TV because the keyboard doesnt show up in IOS 8 so dont even bother downloading Google why bother releasing the app in the first place if you were never planning to update it By the looks of other reviews and messages on the Internet I dont even know why I bothered to waist my time writing this Google has obviously abandoned this platform and anything to do with it Probably a class action lawsuit is the only hope if we are ever to see an update Disappointing     Class action lawsuit needed to get update

I use this app with my 46 Sony Google TV My phone and TV go out of sync on a constant basis requiring repairing The app has not been updated since version 10 Come on Google Im sure updating this app to work wouldnt take more than an interns day of work We all paid the money for this technology the least you can do is maintain it to working order Dont give up on your products        Needs an update

When it works is the best remote for the tv but most of the time it doesnt connect to the tv     Rarely works

I have the 6 with the latest iOS and I cant use this at ALL Im tired of buying stock in batteries because my TV remote drains them Ive used this in the past I wouldnt even give it one star but Im forced to It opens thats it You cant connect your TV at all because its about as good as a JPG for all it does     Please update

When you can get this app to connect it works great The main problem is that you have to keep pairing it over and over Even when you go to another app and come back to the remote app it either needs to be paired again or throws the error message of cant connect to google tv And Id say about 50 of the time it cant connect to the tv I wish it could be paired and stay paired but unfortunately that doesnt seem to be the case here        It works when it can connect

I have this app for more than a year now But very rarely used it when I am lucky to connect to Device Most of the times it wont connect and even with IP it fails It is definitely needs an update Google has forgot TV devices it doesnt has any new apps available for TVs     Doesnt pair to Sony Google TV device
