Golden Hour

I use to love this app It was a favorite of mine But they havent done a upgrade and it keeps crashing with the new software upgrade I kept giving it some time thinking it would change and it hasnt Dont waste your time till there a new update        Not with it since Apple upgrade

Great tool Saves a lot of guesswork and makes planning portrait and landscape shots simple Combined with a good weather app and this would be unstoppable                 Semi pro

Ok seriously No option to change the clock format to 12 hr ampm The app would be perfect if only it had that simple feature     Almost great

I have been published as an advanced photographer however we all know if you shoot enough exposers we can all get that one lucky shot of a lifetime This App Truly helps increasing your chances with outdoor photography I am more than pleased with the results You should give it a try for yourself you are already holding a camera that can prove immediate results                 Worth its weight in GOLD

I think its a tad too pricey for what it does All you need to know is the sunrise and sunset times in your area to know when the golden hour is Why they charge 5 bucks for this is beyond me 99 or even 199 is more like it for this app           Cool app but

Trying to select a date is impossible The slider is a ridiculous way to choose a dateits too sensitive and I cannot get it to stay on the date even if Im lucky enough to see the date I want So disappointed        Ugh

This is a tool that every aspiring photographer should use Only drawback if Hawaii is one of its many locations I sure couldnt find it              Almost right

I found it very frustrating not to be able to enter latlong for those places not found In addition I was quite surprised at the number of places for which I searched and could not find           Golden Hour

Its all about the light And knowing exactly when the light has the quality you want makes planning easy Personally Im a blue hour guy This app lets me know when the light is on that magic edge between night and dawn                 Great App

I use it all the time IPad version is superior to the iPhone but its great to always have it In fact I just used it to realize I cant make it to the ocean in time fir the sunset so Im going to shoot intown instead                 Indispensable photographers tool

Wasted my money Limited areas to go to They dont even have my town which is in Florida where sunsets and sunrises are very important Very lame Dont buy Tried to go to yellowstone np But forget it even Jackson hole isnt in it Lame lame lame     Very limited

I used the compass feature in combination with Google Earth to perfectly locate my position for a specific Blowhole sunrise shot on Oahu                 Nailed My Sunrise Photo Location

Trying to set the date is impossible I use this app often I hope they fix the date issue in the next update Update My son bought this app and figured out that if you tap below the date line then it either advances one day or goes back one day precisely as it should Dont tap the line itself tap in the space below it So happy that he figured this out              Could be better

With the high reviews and niceatglance screenshots I expected something more Unfortunatey the user interface is very clunky On the main golden hour screen you set the date to view with a slider of all things good luck finding a specific day The other screens are similarly unfunctional Were this a free or even 99 app I might be a little more charitable but at the price its really a disappointment     Surprisingly bad UI

This app is so very useful Its by far one of my most used apps                 So useful

It is a nice app However if you are not use to thinking in military hours you can make mistakes on planning I feel there should be a time option Without it you might as well stick to a wrist watch There are other apps that are better for figuring out the golden hour for sun rise and sun set Why not add the moon and the Milky Way        Golden hour

Being a landscape photographer I need to know sunrise and sunset times This app provides it all in a beautiful GUI Right on              Nice App

Refreshingly straightforward appcommunicates sun position info intuitivelygive it a look and a tap or two and you know when to get out into the light Dont forget your tripod                 Nice

We are in Hawaiian Islands with many different exposures yet only one City per island may show up This does not give a very accurate picture depending on the actual location Due to mountains dense forests and other terrain we would love to see GPS specifics for that specific area Other than that a nice tool Mahalo Nui Loa              Need better GPS 4 smaller areas

I like the basic premise of the app but am annoyed at the absence of any contact information for the developer I checked everywhere on the web site and came up empty One of the things I would like is to have a 12 hour clock instead of a 24 hour clock No way as far as I can see from the settings A little more help with locations would be nice They tell you to just drop a pin from a Google map to the exact point you want If of course you already know how to do that Some additional tutorials for people who are not so computer savvy would be nice All in all Im disappointed and wish I had saved my money     No support or contact info

Use to work great now if I try to go into another year it freezes up Please fix this     What happens to this app

This makes it incredibly clunky to use for anyone used to a 12 hour clock I dont spend this kind of money to have to translate times     No 12 hour clock
