The advertising for this tries to imply that it works with all beacons But when you use it it only allows setup with a particular brand that I assume this company is selling So basically useless if you already have a beacon from some other supplier Given this bad start I m not especially interested in gambling 1 on the chance that maybe buying the Ability to Manually Add Beacon Information works and maybe it doesn t     Don t be fooled is NOT a generic beacons app Maynard Handley

Don t bother buying this app the developers have absolutely no interest in fixing their acknowledged bug s I have been waiting for almost 3 months very patiently but they just closed my cases Their token seem to expire quietly this has happen twice already The dev told they were busy with other projects and have no ETA for any fix     Developer is unresponsive mlooss

Geohopper is a fine App that doesn t work correctly at least for geofences I have been trying to work with their developers to get a big problem they have fixed but after months of waiting it remains broken Specifically when either using Geohopper s Test button or when your iPhone come into or leaves a geofence it sends both a arrival AND an exiting signal I hope they get it fixed some day     For some reason they refuse to repair their App George111111xyz

This is an app that is suppose to do exactly what I m looking for but unfortunately it is not at all reliable Not only that but when I opened the app up this morning all my settings were gone it opened as if I were opening it for the first time I even bought their iBeacon that does not work reliably either nor are there any settings for it The app is not designed for the iPhone 6 Plus Finally there is no where in the app to make the in app purchases that are described here such as the RSS feature Sound pack etc I ll be happy to change my review if and when they fix and update the app     Does not work reliably frjps

Great idea But it s the second time in two days that the app is deleting all my beacons and forcing me to start over It s not fun having to reset everything I m on an iPhone 6 with iOS 8 0 2 by the way         Please Fix arajul

Set up my locations and web hooks and voila HTTP GET or POST without invoking Chrome or Safari Well it was great for about a week until my phone battery got low and iOS shut itself down Upon power up all of my locations have vanished Support was responsive but nothing could be done So I set up one of my locations again and could not get any entry or exit events to fire then when they did fire they were e mailed to me instead of using the web hooks very quirky Also infuriating to set locations with any precision when I tap and hold a pin to move it it jumps up on the map and releasing it sets it in the new higher position Very frustrating trying to simply move a little left or right Also it would be much easier to see the boundary circle while moving the pin         Worked once but died and UI needs improvements mhenry79

I really like the idea but it fails in a few ways Webhooks randomly work and it often declares I have Left an iBeacon when I haven t moved or even touched my phone Right now it s an interesting toy but it can t be relied on for anything         Works occasionally macbook airhead

The app does not work like it should the desktop app does not work either and their support does not exist after repeated attempts to contact them AVOID AT ALL COSTS     Avoid this app Jacquesdt81

Does not seem to work well in low connectivity areas I m trying to use it for turning on my front lights but with poor connectivity it s spotty It does not fire reliably and the logs seem to hang I m still using it and it has promise Maybe we both have to learn to work with each other             Great idea matthewc100

Geohopper has made my commute better and my marriage easier My wife and I have long commutes and are forced to work somewhat odd hours we also tend to use our commute time to make client phone calls With Geohopper we have set pins to alert each other when we leave our offices and then are almost home I love the automatic part we can not forget to let each other know we are on the way home                     saved my marriage Sten45

This app has replaced my need to text my wife every time I land in a new city while on business travel She likes to know that I have arrived alive and I usually text her when I land Now I just drop a pin on the airport I m landing in before the flight add her to that location and she knows when I leave the airport and enter it again for the return trip A happy wife makes for a happy life                     Geohopper keeps my wife up to date when I m traveling Figmentfly

I saw the video showing Geohopper turn lights on and off with location events and had to try this myself It took a few steps to get the Wemo set up but it works reliably and I don t need to think about it It s nice to come home and the lights are on especially if it s late and I m carrying an armload of groceries Very useful                     Wish I had thought of this Half-wheat

This program is fun to use and has been extremely useful for us I like that I can see when my husband leaves work so I know when to text or call him if we need anything picked up on the way home That way I m not texting or calling him 3 seconds before he pulls in the driveway or when he s trying to finish up work for the day We use it for tagging work and other regular activities We have three kids so not having to remember to stop and text when we re on the way in or out of an activity is nice                     Love it Jupiterbrown

Geohopper has been an awesome app for me and a welcome addition to my iPhone There are other apps that are similar but a few things I appreciate are as follows 1 Responsive development team first and foremost If the team isn t listening to the users how is the app ever going to get better Twocanoes has been awesome at taking in user feedback and involving a nice sized user base in order to present this app to everyone with real time use cases and statistics 2 Adding in locations via searching when you re thinking about them is nice and safe Other apps only allow you to add the place when you are actually there Geohopper allows you to add them as you see fit and allow you to choose when to notify others 3 The use of emoji Oddly enough this is worth mentioning I like to be able to add emoji in the names of the places I m getting notified about OR notifying others because there s a visual side instead of just looking at plain text It gives it that extra pop 4 Not just app notifications A big thing I m really loving about the app is that there are likely going to be others that are using a different platform Not using iOS Not a problem It can also send off those alerts on when you enter or exit your defined location s via email instead of the app itself Now anyone can get alerted without worrying about owning an iOS device That s pretty nice and has worked out very well for me personally 5 Safety first Even though I mention it last I do appreciate the privacy in that the location isn t being provided aside from what you have named your location and that s completely up to you the end user Additionally as others have stated it saves on texting while on the road It s a big plus to get notifications sent when you pick your kids up arrive at school leave work stop at the store etc It s nice to not always have to remember to text someone Excellent work                     Great team great app great combination orgitnized

I love this app Using Geohopper my wife and I can automatically send alerts as to when we leave daycare and are bringing home our child so the other can prepare dinner I use it to alert friends when I m in their area without broadcasting on social sites much safer                     Social sharing no risk Groovy Yuv

This beats the pants off of Apple s Geofencing App Geohopper actually allows for a measure of privacy unlike Find Friends Geohopper lets you send a push notification to your friend saying that you have left a given location so they know you are on your way but they cannot see your every move Which is a bit disconcerting lets face it On top of the increased privacy you can have location changes go to an RSS feed which can kick off additional actions IFTTT recipes come to mind Overall this is a great app and I use it daily to let my wife know when I have left work and when I am 5 10 minutes from home I recommend you look no further for a Geo location app that can trigger notifications or actions                     Awesome Location App Nate Walck
