When ever you try to load a video you watch an adthis is to be expected for the free version after the ad is just a nice black screen Nothing loads no errors or anything This app is a waist of time and space     Doesnt play anime

I love all the content All of my favorite shows are in one place But there is a HUGE drawback to this app in its current state After I watch one video no videos will work again The video player will not play anything else I have to delete the app and reinstall it each time to get the video player to work Each time I have to log back in again knowing that itll eventually stop working again It is a very painstaking process Its inconvenient and time consuming Hope theres something you guys can do and I hope this I helpful feedback Thanks Josiah        Great content bad functionality

Not only is it weird to use it doesnt have half the anime you try to look for 1010 would not use again     Ugh

Good app for watching my anime But fails to load videos 85 of the time I feel like it never works whenever i needed it too The episode scrolling is horrible it never remembers the last episode you have watched And the fact the this app does not have the instant que option is a sure sign of failing to be a streaming app Hopefully Funimation comes up with a very good update to redeem themselves        APP FAIL

I bought this app to watch One Piece on and stream it through the Apple TV but thats really hard to do WHEN YOUR 10 APP CRASHES SO MUCH Then ever since the iOS 9 updates the problems have only gotten worse When an ad would come up it would restart the entire video Using this with the Apple TV has been a very frustrating experience and I would recommend staying away from this app for a bunch of other reasons not listed NO VIDEO QEUES ARE YOU SERIOUS If you are just looking to use this normally and not stream it its iffy but the app still crashes for no given reason Tldr This app is bad and I would recommend NOT paying for this it is NOT worth it     Terrible app since iOS 9 update

weird UI Logging into my paid funimation account was confusing Login button was greyed out but it logged me in Then to get out of that screen I had to hit cancel Like I said weird Then I get to to videos nothing loads Reading other reviews I guess people are ok with this Glad I didnt pay the 10 for this Which is another thing Im already paying for the service why do I have to buy the app Crunchyrolls app is better and you dont have to pay for it     garbage

Is that you dont have a queue section at all Im a premium member of funimation and I also have the app on my PlayStation 4 system There would be times I would like to continue watching where I left off from my iPhone using the funimation app but it doesnt work out that way for me because it creates a hassle to find the show and also look for the episode to continue or basically start over If yall can update this app and add a queue section and make your search engine a lot better just as yall have done for the PlayStation app Then this will be consider a 4 12 to 5 star app Please consider this favor From a loyal premium Funimation customer           An issue I have

This app is probably the worst streaming app ive ever used The video wont even play 80 of the time u can browse the video and select a specific place to start playing it just needs to be redesigned     Needs work

I hardly ever write reviews for apps but in this case I was very dissatisfied with the service and application that funimation has put out for their costumers First off I dont understand why paying subscribers should be forced to purchase a 10 application that works 25 of the time Second of all a 5 year old would of had a better shot at making a better functioning applicatioThe application crashes half of the time and the other half of the time videos do not play On that note I am no longer going to be a funimation subscriber and highly recommend crunchyroll for the people that are fed up with the issues I am dealing with     Very disappointed

Was this app made in 2000 and just hadnt been updated since then How can one of the biggest anime companies have such a crappy app Theres no way to search for simulcast shows You have to get lucky to log in Theres no Chromecast support     No Chromecast and buggy

I CANT FVCKING SIGN IN           Why

So I first downloaded this app and was excited because anime but that is all Im excited about the app makes me hate funimation and I love these shows this app always has something wrong with it first day was fine then the next day it logged me out and wouldnt let me log back in I couldnt watch for about a week finally I deleted and reinstalled then whenever I tried to play any video it wouldnt play anything and said the video was 000 long so again I deleted and reinstalled and now it keeps crashing I cant even log in it wont even let me get there might have to reconsider paying for this if its not fixed crunchyroll has a better app for the same price and I dont have to pay 10 for the better app     ARE YOU SERIOUS

This version of the app is terrible If you already have a subscription to funimation you still get stuck with ads that make browsing through the episodes and series impossible Every time you close a full screen ad you are returned to the top of the list Absolutely terrible Users should not have to pay a fee to make an app usable     Terrible app

I got the app to watch Tokyo ghoul only to discover that this app wont let me watch any of the amines at all I just get a black screen with a little gray box     Fix please I cant bring my computer everywhere

Free version of the app allows you to watch episodes adfree Paid version forces you to watch ads for the software developer phunware through out an episode Honestly the best way to watch funimations videos would be via the Hulu app Their platform is more stable than funimations own app Funimations and phunware get your act together Only gave 3 stars because the free app performs marginally better than the paid app           Performs better than the paid version

Ive had a subscription for Funimation for quite some time and use the free version of their app since then There has been issuescomplications where the episode wont work so I would delete the app and reinstall it When that doesnt work I just wait a while and get back later in the day and works just fine If it didnt do that then I would give this app 55              Good but Could be better

Im a paying member on funimation and this app just does not function I cant see my queue cant find all episodes that the web page lists and generally cant find anything in the app Dont waste your time and just use the web interface on your phone The web page isnt great but at least it is functional     Nonfunctional
