This app is so wonderful I use it everyday Works great to track family and friends I am a nurse and as soon as I leave the hospital I click on this app It sends the immediate push to my family to let them know where Im at Also I have to give a HUGE thank you to Leon This man is phenominal if you have any issue with this app I needed something changed on it due to getting a new iPhone I sent an email to him and he emailed me back very quickly to troubleshoot my issue Good customer service is hard to find anymore but i found it here that even makes this app better Soooooo dont hesitate on getting it Its GREAT I this app

This app was already great but the new update that was just released makes this app really shine It is much more smooth now and the map is a lot tighter This is a steal for the price Yes obviously your friends need to run the app as well but this is a limitation of the hardware not the software Also the push notification works well I have had no issues of it being accurate even indoors Very smooth

My daughter and I were sitting in the very same room in NYC and the App mapped her location in Santa Cruz SAVE YOUR

This is a good app but could be better if it could update automatically maybe giving you the option on how often so u can save battery life It also kicks you out whn use the text option wich is very inconvinient Also if could give u directions to your amigos directions it would be nice If these things got done I wouldnt mind paying a lot more for this app cuz not only would it be a great tracker but be very helpful if my phone was ever lost or stolen Please make these things happen Good but could be better

It says that it updates every 7 seconds but not automatically Your amigos have to update there position for u to view their current location otherwise itll give u false location My friend and I tried it He left his place 30 mins prior to me checking it and it gave me false location I hope that theyll update this app so its really accurate For spouses and partners this apps can cause problem and conflict so I dont really recommend Good but

You dont really need a friend with an iPhone to use this since there is a web based map for tracking people but the app only shines in an iPhone to iPhone exchange I can see myself using this when Im heading somewhere to pick up my wife or shes reading somewhere to pick me up Two suggestions for the developers 1 Dont kick me out of the app to text let me send a message through the amigo instead 2 Give me the option to request directions to the persons dot preferably displayed within the app itself Otherwise keep it simple and focus on the iPhone to iPhone features Polished app has promise

Seems like itll work good but I dont have any iPhone friends At least Loopt allows you to have friends on other phones but I dont have any compatible friends on Loopt either Would be nice to be able to add friends from the contact list rather than having to write down phone numbers and email addresses Also would like a automatic login option Need friends with an Iphone

I have utlized every other tracking application out there and this is by far the best The Amigos have really accomplished what it takes to make a great app like thisattention to detail Every app lives and breathes through attention to detail and those with a tombstone threw their hands up and said I hope it works Great job guys Id pay an easy 5 for this app but yet its free PUHLEASE keep it that way I just cant say enough about this program IT ROCKS This is by FAR the BEST tracking application for the iPhone

Is a great idea but doesnt work at all yet Doesnt update friends position never moves Maybe with an update it will do what it claims Right now its junk Dont bother with this yet

Only works when other person has app active on screen Soon as they start a different function or phone goes to sleep it stops updating So whats the point of the hide feature It won show your position anyway Limited

Very useless Zero stars

I LOVE this app We use it often when we are trying to locate family members especially when traveling in groups It has saved us a lot of headaches especially when we are in an unfamiliar area We have located friends and family members easily with this app when trying to reunite Also when my husband is delayed coming home I can check to see his location and know there are no problems such as road closure This app is ingeniousthank you GREAT APP

I have two friends linked The biggest problem is they will not update I have one friends last update was 225 hours ago and that is about normal Wrong Place

This works really well particularly when the people are outdoors It does drain the battery pretty quickly I like it that it only updates your location when you choose to run the app since otherwise it would be too much like spying on someone It works really well for bike rides or hikes or shopping when you might get separated and want to know how to get back together I imagine it would be great at Disneyworld If it is possible it would be nice to be able to choose whether or not to update locations in the background but apparently from the other posts this is not possible with iPhone great for group trips

Slow load but with 3g iphones accuracy is perfect Lost 1 star due to load times But its FREE Great app

This app is like the Marauders Map of Harry Potter fame for your mobile device The biggest limitation and its an iPhone limitation since these apps arent allowed to run in the background is you have to be running the app in order for your position to be sent to your friends On the iPhone if you go back to home the app stops running Great for friends actively trying to find each other

First love the program simple to use I primarily use it in my bike rides Since I ride alone and am gone for hours my wife can become nervous and annoyed bc she has to guess when I am returning With friend mapper I just turn it on and go cycling I have peace if mind and mind wife does too knowing she knows where I am Plus the customer is the best Perfect for me

First problem is it kills your battery in no time at all Uses lots of power on both or all phones Secondly There was a moving tracking delay when I was watching my phone and driving of a good six to eight blocks I like accuracy This program has no idea what that is It also showed me a mile from the house when stopped while it showed my wife in the street at work 500 yards from her job Not even worth it for free Dont Do It

Had some inital set up issues with the 3g net but after or was turned off I could register Amigomapper

My dear friend and I both had Mapper free version last fallwinter and it was completely accurate down to exact location like we could find each other within an isle in a store It made our secret meet ups possible We both upgraded to this mapper app and are both continually frustrated He can rarely open it And we both have issues with it locating us in completely random places like a field 10mi away from my house at midnight lol Not sure if its the upgraded version or that the app itself got bogged down Bummer tho Upgraded Version inaccurate

Do you need to launch the app in order for it to update your location Its not realtime tracking if thats the case Cool idea but

What a great app And another great reason for everyone to get an iPhone This app remembers and displays everybodys location from whenever they last ran the app and shows how old that reading is so the only time you really need to run this app is when you want to update your own location The fastest refresh rate 7 seconds shows almost continuous movement on everybodys screens but the slowest refresh rate 52 seconds works very well too And you can text and phone everybody just by touching a button on their maps Good stuff The Perfect 3G iPhone App

I cant see my friends in anything close to real time I had one friend drive 62 miles to my door step and it still showed them at home and yes we were both logged in This happens very often It a huge drain on the battery I would like to have a Refresh button Friend Mapper down side

This apps pretty righteous But if I could add on one thing to it if you actually read the reviews you get it would be to allow people to add notes above there location dot like johnny Im going to the store or melissa Im bored and sitting at the house anyway thats all I got later Addition

Ive tried since 4am its now 411pm to get this App to register on my iphone but it wont I got it to register on my husbands iphone however its useless without both phones having the App considering we are the only ones we know who have iphones Great idea but should have fixed kinks before launching it to the public App worthless this point cant register to launch it
