With the FOX 8 WVUE Carnival & Festival you can follow Parades & Festivals in and around NOLA.
The parade app is only good for what is riding each day But no tracking and if the parade time changed this app doesnt notify What I was looking for was a good app for festivals Its even worse for that No dates unless the dates are in the title The dates shown are the dates they posted Tap on a fest and nothing of any use Again no dates or locations just some useless history of the fest and a link to the festivals own web site Gee thanks Not mobile friendly at all Click on calendar thinking youll at least see dates for each fest Nope just brings u to fox 8 news web site Guess u r suppose to find it on the news web site which isnt good for mobile This is half a star at best Am deleting this app Not worth the free download
I know Mardi Gras is upon us but this app isnt ready for matinee much less prime time Dates and times arent listed links not fresh Should have waited and done it right Not ready for release
Parades need to be listed in date order Organizing parades by neighborhood is helpful but an All Neighborhoods option should also be provided Including festivals as well as parades is a valuable feature that differentiates this from other parade tracking apps But the entries should all have dates and be listed in date order That would not only be helpful to the user but would also make duplicate entries eg French Quarter Fest readily apparent and easy to eliminate Good concept needs work
