Ive been an active member of Find A Grave for several years and this app is a dream come true Its great for locating anyone anywhere in any cemetery anywhere in the world with just a few clicks Kudos Great App
Yes all the photos of headstones are nice and it is a welltogether design but what this app is really screaming for is the ability to edit grave information and facilitate user submissions Until then save some space on your tablet and download something else Almost pointless

I think this is a Johnny come lately app to try to copy the amazing technology that BillionGraves has developed to document headstone data with a smart phone with GPS coordinates done automatically and the ability to attach historical documents to the headstone image Copycats Nothing new I thought BillionGraves had patented this technology Billion Graves App much better technology
This app is great It has come far since the beginning I only wish that I could change memorial photo order receive push notifications and read the entire photo captions from my mobiledevice app A few small adjustments and this will be as good as the desktop version Almost there

I had already found the grave record and picture but was having trouble importing to Ancestrycom I thought this app might work better since it is developed by ancestrycom I gave all the information including name dates and cemetery name and found no results When I put in the name town and state of the cemetery it returned no resurfacing the cemetery Unintelligible Useless
Downloaded the app and my first search was for the oldest cemetery in my town Put in full name city state and country The cemetery is still operational but Find A Grave says no such cemetery in words to that effect So much for this app its now on its way to the trash Ugh
I enjoy using this application to help others find long lost relatives It also helps me getting some exercise Great app and fun

It is a great app for looking or showing others memorials The only drawback is adding or subtracting certain information which has to be done on desktop This however doesnt keep it from doing a great job on seeing or adding basic info for a memorial Great Memorial App

This app does not contain grave markers or locations But they did steal my personal information buyer beware do not download Worst app ever
I really love the app I go to a small conglomerate of cemeteries and it is great to see where the photo requests are However it would be great to submit edits to managers of memorials or edit the ones I manage Once that is an option I would give the app 5 stars Almost Perfect

I love this app and use it regularly Quite often I am able to complete my postings for photo claims before I leave the cemetery I do wish that I could edit the plot from within the app I have to do it from the web site for memorials that I do not manage My big problem right now is that the GPS function is not working I always mark the GPS coordinates for the graves I take photos of For the last few months the coordinates are not being entered on the memorials I checked location services on my phone and it is turned on ALWAYS for Find A Grave I sent an email from the Find A Grave web site about this weeks ago but have not heard back I confirmed today that it is still not working Could not find any other place to contact the developer GPS Not Working
I love the convenience of being able to see photo requests when i am out at the cemetery but i cant edit photos properly so i still have to do it when i get back to my desktop A few tweaks and it will be perfect A great start But
This app is absolutely horrible It cannot find any of my relatives or my best friend who past away though I put in the information correctly If I could I would give it 0 stars Horrible
How hard can it be to allow screen rotation for iPads Not everybody uses an iPhone No iPad version
App is great for taking pictures of memorials and then uploading them once I get on WiFi However if I take a picture of the cemetery itself from within the app it will not upload The app just sits there with the green bar cycling I have also tried the choose existing photo option and the same problem occurs I must delete the cemetery photo before the app will continue uploading memorials If I had taken the photo from within the app it is lost after the delete Cemetery photo upload
Love the app but I have found ancestors graves that have terribly out of focus pictures added and I am unable to replace it with a better one Also twice I have found incorrect info added and Im unable to correct it I would like to at least be able to add a note that says above info incorrect should be Cannot correct info or pictures others have added
The devotion of the folks who develop and use this app really impresses me It leads to what are valuable services for me services that are handled with dignity honor and care by everyone with whom Ive been in touch Its a very human development Many thanks to all involved Love FindAGrave
Theres no problem with the app freezing up or anything I much prefer to use the website The app is not very complete as far as usability and an app specific for iPad is very much needed for better use in the field Just not complete enough

I love some things about this app The ability to see photo requests while you are in the cemetery is greatbut I would like to be able to do minor photo editing there too Also I have found many instances where it fails to locate memorials that ARE in the system Requiring return trips that should not be necessary I have high hopes for next update though Great app almost

I use this app on my iPad to supplement work done from my desktop This is a nice tool to introduce others to their family members buried in far away locations Great app useful
I would give this app 5 stars except for a couple of minor things 1 There is no iPad version The majority of us Grave Walkers who provide requested photos of tombstone and markers are senior citizens or close to it Because of decreasing manual dexterity we prefer the larger iPad keyboard over the smaller cell phone keyboard 2 There are too many editing choices that cannot be done on the app and must be done by visiting the Find A Grave web site Since cemeteries dont have WiFi edits must wait until arriving back home If you fix these two things although 2 is general I would be more than happy to raise the app to 5 stars This iPhone version works fair to middling on my iPad but a native iPad version would be invaluable Very Very Good

I loved the app but recently I got signed out and have been unable to sign back in its flashing a server error I know I have the right password Can someone please fix this Server Error
When this app first came out I needed to update my iOS to install it a task I had been putting off for a while That was months and months ago and I havent looked back It turned out to be everything I had hoped and a bit more This app makes finding and fulfilling photo requests a breeze Highly recommended Worth the update
I really love using the app and using it to do lookups well Im at a cemetery is extremely fast and convenient However the app requires permission to track my location even when Im not using the app Its not relevant to the function of the app where I spend the night or if Im hanging out at a bar Developers have the option of tracking location only while using the app and this app should do the same Protecting my privacy by disabling the apps access to location services is the only choice so the utility of the app is artificially limited by their decision to track me when Im not using it Privacy problems
