This is a great app for taking handwritten notes it has allowed me to eliminate my paper notebook from my work life One annoying bug I found if you give a note a title that has a trailing space such as meeting notes the upload to Evernote feature fails Once you remove the extra space you can upload to Evernote with no problem              Great app one annoying bug

After I bot this app and loaded it on to my iPod touch running iOS 313 it wouldnt run even though the requirements called for 31 or later I contracted the developers who quickly got back to me to tell me that it wouldnt run on iOS 3 but they would make a downgraded version available and it looks like they added that info to the description I then got a full refund from the App Store So this isnt review of the app but of support at Catalystwo Ltd Its great to run into support thats responsive and responsible You can bet that when the downgraded version becomes available Ill be buying it Thanks guys                 Wont run on iOS 3 but support is great

I had this on my iPhone but its way better on the iPad Smooth inking room enough to write good folder management and email integration Nice that you can drop in photos and graphics If it could send the image as PDF that would be stellar The supplied templates are attractive too I did have to uninstall and reinstall it get the update working properly The keyboard feature does not seem to work But that is a small quibble This app seems superior to Penultimate though that one is more popular                 Nice update

Bunch of problems Had to delete and reinstall thus losing ALL previous work files New version emails PNG files just fine but when they are saved from an email to the iPhone camera roll they get corrupted I suspect its some sort of CLUT or other problem with the PNG format I applaud the new features but I wish there was a way to roll back to prev versions I suppose this is more of a flaw with the App Store than FastFinga though I suspect they couldve tested it better before release                 Latest release while feature rich is buggy

For such a long time I am looking for an app that can let me use my iphone for taking notes fluently through hand writing I have tried a lot of apps and today I finally find it Great and THANK YOU                 Finally find it

I thought technology moves forward not backward iOS 421 has been out for a long time and now you have to cater to 30 Thanks to your downgrade option that I wont do I now have to update each app separately instead of using the update all function Get rid of the downgrade option If its only out for a week or so to give the 30 folks time to get the fix Thats fine     Downgrade

This is best writing FastFinga app out there and none of them are like this I love to see my own handwriting and email to my friends to show it off My friend asked me how you do it Loving it with varies of colors text and I cant wait for more version in future coming soon like crumbled brown paper bag background style or aged burnt paper Go funky                 Priceless

I dont get the bad ratings either It works flawlessly on FW 312 even With a little bit of practice even the handwriting with a finger can look decent              It works

So if I have the current iOS running on my iPhone Im supposed to ignore this update to avoid downgrading and losing featuresfunctionality That is pretty annoying since it effectively prevents me from installing all my other updated apps together I have to click on each one manually Not cool for a productivity app Why should people running the current iOS be inconvenienced in order to accommodate customers who are running a deprecated OS almost a year old and not even supported by Apple        Confused and upset by update

This a great app much better than Penultimate more natural in handwriting Two features needed 1 PDF format 2 Hand writing to text conversion              PDF format desperately needed

Wow I was genuinely disappointed by this app I read so many great reviews and figured I should give it a go but didnt think very highly of it after trying it I feel like I wasted 199 on an app that really should be free It isnt very straight forward and also is glitchy I would not bother with this app if I were you Take it from an honest and usually optimistic person Dont make the same mistake I did        Just Okay Disappointing for the Most Part

Im not quite sure why this version of the fastfinga app has had such poor reviews I just got done trying out all the features and this app runs brilliantly on my iPad Im a huge note taker from jotting stuff down school meetings or making a quick list for some last min Todosand this app really allows you to preform those tasks flawlessly Easy and intuitive controls and the option to change from regular paper to sheet music to even a blackboard make this the best handwriting app everhands down Id just like to mention when using this app I implement a stylusthough I did test drive my finger and it runs seamlessly either way Thanks to the dev For creating this essential tool please keep the updates coming                 Just what Ive been looking for

Still looking for good note taking app for the iPad This one looked promising but there are too many flaws There is no way to auto forward when writing you have to keep kicking the thumb button which is placed at the bottom left of the screen far away from where you write why it breaks of the flow of this app Also you cannot use your finger to select and insert point you must use the arrow keys at the bottom of the page The finger sensing is also not the best not bad but could be better When will we see an app that really allows you to take good notes on the iPad Come on I know someone can do it        Not that great

I got this because the reviews were good but after trying it its bad The graphics look nothing like the screen shots and its just too like a kids app Ill be requesting a refund     Not like I thought

This app really does have a ton of great features They seem to have thought of everything Great integration with Evernote and email Good job                 Wow

This is practically the only app I have which truly deserves five stars Most apps leave a lot to wish for not Fastfinga Its the only app which can replace a pencil and notebook Fastfinga is a great simple notebook that just feels like ink on paper Its nearly as smooth and Penultimate and a great deal more useful with a zoom box great autoscroll tags folders searches ect Like Penultimate it is difficult to explain the true value until you have tried the app for yourself Unlike Penultimate it does not sacrifice usefulness for elegance I really wish it had a better name because I have been looking for an app like this since I got my iPad and Im sure I would have found it much sooner if it did The only thing lacking is a color wheel and the ability to move the cursor easily and Dropbox integration but thats fairly minor To put the icing on the cake its cheap a full dollar cheaper then most not taking apps and a real steal I cannot recommend it enough                 One of the best apps in existence horrible name though

Latest update is a downgrade for users of IOS 3 to remove IOS 4 functionality that crashed it The problem is now on IOS 4 devices you have no way of removing it from your updates on your iPod or iPhone so you can no longer use the update all feature of updates double duh negative stars if I could do it     Latest update a downgrade

In fact the best I think I would give it 5 stars if they made the background paper work correctly for the iPod Touch It syncs very well with Evernote tags and folders carry over and just work and all handwritten notes are searchable across platforms Its like Drafts for handwritten notes Nice job but fix it for the Touch              This is a great hw app for the phone

In an ah its only 2 dollars anyway kind of way I bought this app Mostly the video sold me It did look fun and very easy to write a short note and get it quickly into a text msg I had to try Some people live on 2 a day or less I feel a little like a jerk that I can just waste 2 on a whim But thats a bummer This little app is not Lets move on from my class guilt I dont even send that many text messages because I find them often mundane repetitive and easily dismissed But this seemed like a pretty neat app and I loved the video It seemed like a fun way to add personal connection to an otherwise pretty dry and visually unappealing experience Its way cooler to get a handwritten love note than a typed one right Im happily surprised that despite a few clunky UI areas it actually is easy fast and fun The first friend that I sent a handwritten note to got a kick out of it My sister flipped out A note you send is just a JPG image file of what you write or draw It is saved in your camera roll on iPhone and in photo roll on iPad1 You simply attach that picture like you would any other The writing area is slightly cramped on iPhone which might be a problem if you have large fingers I use my stylus and that works great My fingers work ok too but it looks less like my writing There are some neat preference features My favorite is the ability to not need to press an enter button to move what Ive writtendrawn onto the canvas An adjustable millisecond setting waits for a short pause in writing then adds the bit automatically By making some quick tests and adjustments the natural pause between words in my own writing triggers entering so I can quickly write without other interaction That shaves even more time off of the process of getting a note sent quickly They really did try to make it very fast to open write send save I think they did a good job The app can improve in some of its aesthetics it looks a bit scattered visually but developers dont have to graphic designers too so a pass can be given Neat app Fun I was sort of a sucker for the app from their video and it does exactly what it says I now send handwritten notes to people almost everyday Would I pay more than 2 No probably not Its not an essential appbut it is one of the most fun frivolous apps I have purchased For a definitely a more human touch to writing it is worth it              Fun Cute Different

Hands down best note taking app for iPad Has smooth ink flow while allowing you to use all the space for your notes Easy to add bullets check boxes etc Automatic entry is hidden in the settings but really improves the usefulness of this app Wish there was an easier way to add our own themes Works well with stylus or finger Im emailing myself notes and storing them in OneNote I have everything I need for taking good notes Thanks for a great product                 Best Note Taking App

This used to be my preferred app for jotting down and taking notes Then came annoying ads every time I start the app even though its a paid version Now theres this annoying downgrade which makes some people happy but which like others have written makes it impossible to simply update all apps at once Two bad things in a row and youre out I dont have time for unprofessional developers there are other choices out there     Used to be professional

This app puts your hand writing into a smaller more manageable size automatically FINALLY Amazing w a stylus Worth every penny                 Freaking Great

Okay problem fixed with reboot Now all folders show when trying to move files Is it too much to ask for an alarm notification utilizing specific dates and times Thanks for the update no more locking up and crashing However I now can move files to only one folder even though I have more than one folder Is it just me Previously on Fastfinga Was a good app until last update Now it does nothing but hang up and crash Wouldnt recommend buying till next update has been confirmed              Revised

Between this and pen ultimate Im golden Really Really wish instead of just png and jpeg formats it put the writing into the body of the email like HandWriting Mail hint hint Also kinda wish could see the whole page instead of just a couple lines at a time If youre the kind who enjoys the physical inky act of natural writing this apps for you                 Very Nice

This app works fine in all but there is another app for the iPad that is called Use Your Own Handwriting That app is much easier to use looks better and it is FREE Dont waist your money like I did I wrote this review to help you Please take my advice I hope that this review was helpful to you           There are better FREE Apps

I think Ive tried them all and for me this is the best legal pad replacement You can draw and import photos as well but the focus is on handwritten notes I like that each document is 1 continuous page so you dont have to keep flipping pages I agree with the other poster who thinks the name of the app is awful                 Beautiful

This may be the easiest to use and coolest handwriting app Love the RGB color selection the automatically resized written text when you pinch or zoom Evernote syncing is a fabulous feature The only suggestion would be an option to increase sensitivity for smaller writing                 usable and enjoyable

App is completely broken A buck wasted     Really bad

Great app for taking notes on the iPad but the input box is too high This causes my wrist and hand to leave marks under the input box which get written to the page I was able to drag the input box lower but it didnt matter and reset as soon as I continued the line Please allow this to have a set location lower on the screen andor also disable writing input below the input box One other issue is that you can continue a line far beyond the edge of the page It would be great if it could auto break the line but even some indication that you are near the edge of the page would be very helpful Finally I couldnt care less about the emoticons however some shape drawing tools would be super useful              Great on the iPad but needs a few tweaks

I have this on my iPhone and iPad It is perfect for taking notes in meetings and then instantly pushing them to my Evernote account Now I never lose a note and I no longer have to remember to take a picture of paper notes I there was an easy way to insert sketches it would be 5 stars              Awesome with Stylus

After using this app for a few minutes the input screen where you write went black Even deleting it from the phone and downloading it again didnt solve the problem which is really strange Get this fixed and Ill try again and review again But for now an utter waste of money for me     Complete failure
