I haven t had the chance to test this during a real quake yet but the concept is awesome My only gripe so far is I am getting pop up and sound alerts for major earthquakes on the other side of the world Russia Turkey These are annoying but I can t see how to disable them Also as would be expected it seems to drain the battery quickly if you let it access the GPS always This can be tuned though via iOS so it only accesses the GPS when the app is open                 ok but alerts need tuning Rob in El Cerrito
