Dunn Bros Coffee

I love coffeeI spend 120 a month on coffee Our town recently got a Dunn Brothers and the coffee is so much better than StarbucksI gladly downloaded the app disappointed that transactions would happen directly out of my checking account since I usually charge my Starbucks card on payday once a month However I was informed that to save the business money they would charge my card 1 time monthly on the 8th I kept track of what I spent and planned to have the exact amount taken out on the 8th However after getting my coffee this morning they charged me for the full amount 1 week earlier than I was told with no warning Which unfortunately overdrew our account since we keep what is spent weekly in there and nothing extra Im very frustratedeven 24 hours notice would have prevented this Now that I now that I will randomly be charged the full amount without notice before the settlement date Im not sure its worth it for me to keep that much floating money in the account this app is hooked to just in case they pull it randomlyand it certainly isnt worth the overdraft fees Againeven a 24 hour notice would have made this annoying but not a deal breaker I like them better than Starbucksbut this seriously killed this for me     Im so disappointed

App has potential Would give it 5 stars if would coordinate with passbook           Passbook coordination please

Hell why it keep rejecting my card lots of time wasted     waste of time

Used the app twice and it worked perfectlywhich is sometimes amazing with tech                 Working great so far

This is the only rewards program Ive seen that requires you to enter and store a credit card to participate NO THANK YOU App uninstalled     Pay through the app

What used to be easy and quick giving a tip now REQUIRES me asking how much the bill was then figuring and putting in a tip I will stop using this app     The upgrade is stupid It NOW requires you to figure and put in a dollar amount for each tip

Looks like a cool app but it should not ask for a CVV for permanent storage especially right after claiming it is PCI compliant Doing the former breaks the latter Please fix           Storing CVV not PCI compliant

Its nice to not need a credit card or any money to pay for coffee and its useful for finding a store Thats about it I gave a gift card to someone and he cant load it into the app so he needs to carry the card around Isnt that the point of having an appTheres a scanner in the app that says something like scan to load more credit but I dont know what it scans Furthermore the only way you can get rewards points is by using the app I didnt get any points when I bought his gift card 30 using the app and he doesnt get points for spending the money because hes not using the app so big thumbs down there If he cant load it then give me credit for buying it I dont expect us both to get points but one of us should It would be way easier if the QR code used for scanning could be loaded into Passbook Thats why Apple invented it           Okay at best

So far the app seems alright but for some reason the old iOS keyboard pops up I didnt even know that was possible           iOS 6 features

Love how easy it is to use No need to dig in the bottom of my handbag any more to get my daily fix at my favorite coffee shop                 Convenience for my caffeine

Ive used the app a few times and it works perfectly I appreciated the 5 credit that came preloaded in the app                 Runs Smoothly

The Dunn Brothers app is so simple and easy to use I dont have to deal with my wallet at the checkout simply pull up the app and scan to pay                 Great app

I stopped using the app when the tip slider disappeared Its cumbersome in the new version so much so that I stopped midpay the first time and have not been back     Slide

I used to love this app but now its just annoying The old version with a percentage slider to give a tip worked great Now I have to enter an amount but when I do the app hides part of the QR code and makes the app useless The only way to use it is to not tip through the app     New version tip function bad

I agree with the above review It is a downgrade to have to manually enter a tip The tip slider on the prior version was incredibly quick and easy to useplease revert to that version or at least give us the ability to choose it as a default     Manual entry is dumb

I love using this app to pay for my coffee in the morning Its easy and the loyalty is a nice reward                 Great App

This looks like a new app surprised it wasnt updated for iOS 7 The keyboard is old Please update           Needs iOS 7 update

Every time I try to add a tip it pops the screen up so half of the QR code is showing and it doesnt come back down unless I force close the app which removes the tip I entered I always have to dig my wallet out to look for a buck or two Not a big deal instore but a real hassle at the drivethru           Tipping is bugged on 6

I downloaded this app but decided it wasnt worth keeping when the only options for funding were a debit or credit card        Needs PayPal or other payment options

So easy to use super fast and love how payment loyalty and menu is all integrated within one app Must have if youre a Dunn Bros fan                 My new favorite app

Now I can order online and just swing in and pick up my coffee without having to stand in line in the morning Huge time saver                 Online ordering sweet

Generally I like the app Its convenient to use and easy to add a card But there hasnt been an update for 10 months Theres no Passbook compatibility which would be awesome and even more convenient if Starbucks can do it so can you And they moved to charging your account only once a month Im finding less reasons to use this app and just use my card instead I love Dunn Bros but disappointed that theyre squandering so much potential with this app           Could be so much better

They charge you the full amount of several purchases at a few seemingly random dates Keeping a smaller amount of money in my checking account at a time helps me budget but it makes me really angry that Dunn Bros does not give any notice or adhere to a payment schedule If I know that there will be a charge I can put the money into my checking account Unfortunately Dunn Bros does not allow you to pay with a gift card as Starbucks does so its incredibly difficult to manage your finances this way     Poor Execution

Now when I forget my wallet I dont have to get Starbucks This app is awesome                 Better coffee better app

I love how fast and convenient this is I can place my order as I struggle to get out of bed in the morning but schedule the order to be ready by the time I swing by my local shop on my way to the office No more waiting in line for this guy                 Convenience Is King

I really like this app but I wish they would let you use the rewards when you want Should be an option where they ask if you want to use rewards rather than just automatically deducting it with next purchase              4 stars

Star bucks app is far superior     Not worth the download
